This was truly one of the best breakfast experiences that I've had in Buckhead! Delicious food and amazing service! I have to shoutout our waitress, Annette! She was phenomenal! Personable and warm, she gave us so many great recommendations. Everyone in the restaurant was so kind and helpful! I ended up going with her favorite choice on the menu the Beef Short Ribs and Grits. They were absolutely delicious and I would order them again in a heartbeat. They're about to get a full service bar and I'm looking forward to coming back in again soon! Very cozy and comfortable vibes. OMG! One of the best places we ate in Atlanta! We were a party of six so they sat us in the private dining room with other large parties. Our waiter was Je. He was amazing! He was patient and explained the dishes to us. The menu is vast and it all looked so good! He made recommendations and then we chose. Every single dish was amazing! My friends and I had an absolutely fantastic time at this establishment. This was my first time at this restaurant and I was impressed. The service and food was great‼ Je, our server did an exceptional job as our waiter with food recommendations and was very attentive to our needs during our time while dining. I tried French Toast for the first time today. I ordered...wait for it...French Toast! The Apple Strudel version to be exact, with a side of bacon. First, the server quickly came to may table and delivered the coffee. This coffee is muscular, but not as strong as Flying Biscuit. So it will get you going. The French Toast came out shortly thereafter. The portion size was fantastic. It was two supersized pieces of toast covered in cooked apple with caramel sauce and granola. The toast was soft and looked like a thick wheat toast. Most of the time French Toast is super sweet, almost too sweet. The toast and granola gave the dish a balance so it was not overly sweet. I has bacon as a side. It was crispy and chewy. Overall, an excellent breakfast. Prices are a touch high and look out for the included gratuity. French Toast is a nice addition and I am including it to my vaunted breakfast rotation. There are several interesting items on the menu to try on the next few visits. read more

Went here solo for a birthday brunch. I drive past here so often and wasn't sure if it would be good, but I had the best experience! Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The peaches & cream French Toast was delicious but not too sweet. The chicken was crispy & seasoned well but still juicy. I was a little too full to enjoy the potatoes I ordered but I still think they are solid breakfast potatoes & it wasn't too heavy on the rosemary. Staff was kind enough to offer me a dessert for my birthday. FYI, I took beignets to-go and it came with the powdered sugar on the side, so that was my light sprinkling of it. Anyway, I think this spot deserves way more love! Parking lot is small but don't let that deter you. Since it's nearby, I will definitely be back. read more

I was driving by and noticed the restaurant was finally open. As soon as I came in I was greeted very warmly by the staff and seated promptly at the bar. My server was very nice and attentive and answered my questions about the menu. I ordered the banana foster French toast. This is an exceptionally well-run restaurant with great service and delicious food. The breakfast menu is inventive and worth getting out of bed to sample. I had the breakfast bowl with corn beef which most decidedly was not the standard hash out of a can. Instead it was a couple of pieces of succulent corn beef alongside grits and eggs. First time here and they greet you at the door. Great service. Tried the catfish and grits, short ribs and grits. Different servers stopped by to see if we needed anything which is nice. Will return to try the beignets. While not a fan of the automatic gratuity, I do understand the reason for it and it will not keep me from returning. I definitely recommend this place. read more

On Sat. 07/25 at 09:30 am my wife and I were going to get breakfast at Corner Bakery on Peachtree Rd. (near Lenox Mall), but didn't have a good feeling when we pulled into the parking lot; like they were closed(?) or in a desperate condition. My wife then decided she wanted "shrimp and grits" and looked up the best restaurant that served this meal and "French Toast Buckhead" came up. We ordered that meal along with a potato side dish and ice tea. My wife gave the meal "a 10" after 3 bites and I gave it a 10 after 1 bite. The food was EXCELLENT in every respect--presentation, taste, flavor, the slightly seared shrimp flavour that mixed in with this special sauce... everything was just AMAZING! Also the ambience and the very friendly way all of the wait staff welcomed us into a very open and beautiful space all made our dinning experience wonderful. Our waiter ("Frenchie") was very nice, funny, entertaining and most importantly, informative. He told us about other delicious meals we would probably like in the future and personally seemed joyful that we enjoyed the food so much. Please give him a raise He's the BEST! Finally, I'm a Professor of History who (together with my son, Stone) writes a critical thinking blog to that teaches a Classical Education and supplements the children and students poor and incomplete education most are receiving nowadays in the public, private, charter schools as well in college. I drove 45 mins to try this place. Got the food and brought it back home. I ordered the stuffed peach French toast. I go home and cook some eggs because I know it's going to be good. I open my French toast box and no filling was in my French toast. The service was good though I'm just disappointed. read more

Didn't have a chance to take a photo before it was gone. But if I could give 10 starts I would. Kat was our server. Ask for her. Personable and made amazing recommendations. This is new to my neighborhood so I decided to try it with a friend. We both ordered peaches and cream crepes. The peaches were sparse and clearly from a can. There was nothing resembling creme anywhere. Instead it was drizzled with what looked and tasted like vanilla icing which made a goopy sugary mess. I was served three crepes. I honestly threw two in the trash. We had two people in our group and when the bill came it came with a 20% service charge. i will never go back. read more

Amazing place! The staff ( all the staff ) are so kind and sweet and they remember almost everyone by name. Impeccable service and incredibly delious food. I recommend this resturant 100+%. Take a break and go to France.. you'll feel like you're there from the staff to the decore. Quite place to have a great meal and be able to carry on a converstion. The best is they keep the coffee coming AND they clean the table so you're not sitting with with trash or dirty dishes in your face. Best customer service without needing a month's salary. Prices are very reasonable and you might need a doggy bag!! Also the parking lot is small but you can park across the street across from the Waffle House. There are signs you for parking for "The Frence Toast" resturant. Do yourself a favor and go experience the ambience. It is so nice to be able to have a conversation with the person or people you're without having to yell across the table. They also have a private dinning area for private parties . Can't say enough about it. And No I don't work there. It's just that good. So nice to have a new breakfast/brunch place to go to in our Cheshire Bridge area. My first visit to French Toast Buckhead was yesterday, Tuesday, June 23 for brunch, and overall, it was a great experience. My party of three arrived around 10:15-10:20 a.m. and had no problem finding a seat. We were welcomed warmly upon entering and told we could sit wherever we liked. We were seated immediately, which was a great start to the visit. Shortly after being seated, our waitress came over to take our order. She was polite, professional, and attentive. She wasn't overly bubbly, but she provided good service throughout our meal. As for the food, it was very good. I ordered the classic French toast with chicken wings, which included four whole wings and two large Texas toast-sized slices of French toast. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. Others in my party ordered crepes and enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, though it was a weekday during the late breakfast/early brunch hours, so it wasn't overly crowded or loud. One thing that really stood out was the extensive menu. There is truly something for everyone. They offer everything from traditional breakfast meats to shrimp, fish, lamb chops, oxtails, short ribs, and more. Another major plus is the on-site parking, which is always appreciated when dining in Buckhead. Of course, be prepared for Buckhead pricing, but the quality, portions, and menu variety help justify the cost. The bacon was ok & I had the best unsweetened tea this side of the Tennessee River ;-) Ambiance here is very modern-day Atlanta. They have a full bar with tables & chairs in the middle & booths liking the walls & and late 70s/early 80s R&B playing on surround speakers. My waitress (Erica) was very attentive. The food was better, but you can see in the photos that the chicken in the Hot Chicken Biscuit Sandwich was *tiny*, and I was hoping for a little bit more in general. Other aesthetic cafes I would rather recommend are The Reading Room (cute bookstore vibes) in Decatur, Daydreamer Coffee (plants and boho) in Midtown, and Momonoki (cute, Asian desserts and drinks - would not recommend for working, the wifi is terrible) in Midtown.

We sat for a while before our server came over to take drink orders, and then waited quite some time again just to order our food. When the drinks finally arrived, my glass had a very obvious pink lipstick mark along the rim. When I politely pointed it out, the server became flustered and accidentally dropped the rest of the tray. Drinks and broken glass spilled over the table, landing on one guest's purse and feet. Even though my friend extended grace and reassured her that accidents happen, the server walked away without an apology. While colleagues came to clean up the mess, she eventually returned with replacement drinks--still offering no apology. Later, when we asked for fresh cloth napkins, she placed them on a bookcase behind our table instead of handing them to us, leaving us confused as to whether we were expected to reach for them ourselves. After such a rocky start, we hoped the food would redeem the visit, but it fell short. Only two people at the table somewhat enjoyed their meals. My order was simple, yet it arrived completely incorrect and cold. A manager never checked in on us until we specifically asked for him so we could share constructive, professional feedback about our dining experience. He was apologetic and attempted to make things right, but by then, we just wanted our checks. Given the lack of service, poor food execution, and overall lack of attention, none of us would recommend Brasserie Margot for brunch.
