YoChef Pasta with shrimp and salmon. Also selected the spicy option and it was great!

Food was great especially compared to other late night options! Quick and easy service

Fried shrimp

Heard good things about this place but i guess i went on a bad night. The good: part of my meal was the sweet and spicy chicken wrap. The flavors popped and had just the right amount of sauce on it. The bad: ordered a side of fried shrimp and the mac and cheese bites. The fried shrimp was 6 little pieces of shrimp dipped in oil and over cooked. Seemed like they forgot to dip them in flour/fish fry or anything to give them a fried shrimp texture or look. They just came out like sauté shrimp. And the mac and cheese bites was fried great but it seemed like they used easy mac to make it which made them dry and flavorless. Lastly the fries was soggy and over seasoned. The only thing i would recommend on the menu is wrap.

I came here on a late Saturday night around 1:30 am and there was already a small crowd gathering up. Even with the cornavirus crisis, there was still a small crowd to get their food to go. I ordered the famous Yochefs Burger. It was $12 but definitely worth it. It was very thick and juicy. I loved the special sauce and onions inside of it. It definitely filled me up. It also came with Cajun fries that were just simply amazing. I highly recommend this place your in the Chamblee/Brookhaven/Atlanta area and hungry for some great late night food. I can't wait to come back and try some more different foods.

Cute bday party setup!

This place has fabulous food at very reasonable prices, and they will gladly customize anything on the menu. The owner and employees are incredibly nice. We did a 12-person birthday party there and they set it up for us with tablecloths, a banner and balloons! I wasn't sure if they could accommodate us, so I filled out the form on their website and was definitely impressed when the owner called me back within 30 minutes. Everyone had a great time, and the food was not only delicious, the portion sizes were large enough that we all had at least one leftover meal afterwards.

Fries were delicious and the Yo sauce was amazing.

I enjoyed this spot. It's open until 4am on the weekends and beats Waffle House (I get sick of IHOP or Waffle House for late night food). Now this isn't Michelin star food, but for late night food it's superb. You can't go wrong with the wings or the fries here. When you're looking for late night food in Atlanta and the bummy fast-food places won't do, this is your spot!

If I could eat yo chef everyday I would. The food is beyond amazing. The food is always prepared in a timely manner. The pasta is just to die for, if you need a late night spot definitely pull up and check them out!

I was very enamored by this place, at first. I thought - Wow! This looks like a great place with a menu that sets it apart from just about all other restaurants. Then reality set in. I came here with two others last week in the early evening. There was only one other person sitting in the restaurant at the time. The woman at the counter was very helpful answering questions about the food, and offered suggestions that were helpful with selecting which items we wanted. After ordering, we sat at one of the picnic tables inside, and caught up with everything that happened since the last time we were together. The first of our food came out after about 20 minutes. The YoChef Wrap (chicken wrap) came first, but it came with cajun fries instead of the sweet potato fries that were ordered. About 5 minutes later, the Sweet & Spicy Pasta (linguine) and a bottle of cold tap water was brought to us. This is when one of my friends let the server know that she didn't get the sweet potato fries as ordered, and was apologized to and told that they will make it right for her with the correct fries. About 5 minutes later, my meal, YoChef Tibs (beef) was brought to me. About 10 minutes later, the sweet potato fries were brought out. I didn't try the chicken wrap, but my two friends shared it and the linguine, and they both said the wrap was good. I shared the tibs and rice meal, and it was okay. The rice was a little on the dry side, and the beef (cut in cubes) was well done. The beef was marinated and had good flavor, but was chewy. I was offered some "really hot" sauce to try on the meat, but it wasn't even hot to me. Although the linguine was shared between my two friends, they didn't even eat half of it. Nor did they want to take it home. I tried it and it was spicy, but just average. This restaurant is in a strip mall, and one of its selling point is that it's open until 4 am. Many businesses share the free parking lot, and parking spaces are always available. I rate this place 3 stars. I feel that most of the food is overpriced, and the service is slow. This restaurant prides itself on making healthy food for people. I can think of a lot of other restaurants that sell healthy quality food that isn't as expensive, and they bring everyone in groups their food at the same time.

The Cajun with Shrimp- good flavor just lacking protein for a $20 dish...

I hate to do this but I need to say... why is there only 4 pcs of shrimp in the whole pasta dish?

She waited until I was ready cause it took me a while to decide because the menu looks pretty good altogether. I'm usually wary of ordering oysters during the hotter months, but the recent photos online looked promising, so I decided to order a dozen: half raw and half chargrilled. They were good! However, a couple of the raw oysters were barely a bite, so for the price, I'd definitely choose more grilled oysters--they offered better value in both taste and size. For our entrees, I ordered the LaGarde Smash Burger with Cajun fries, and my boyfriend had the Shrimp PoBoy with Cajun tots. The burger and PoBoy were just okay, but the sides were disappointing. The tots were essentially balls of grease. I know fried food is naturally greasy, but these tasted like straight oil with very little potato left inside, so they may have been overcooked. Of the two, the fries were on the better side. The service, however, was excellent. Everything came out quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, I'd consider coming back for the chargrilled oysters!

Food notes: * Beignets: Delicious starter for groups or anyone with a sweet tooth (kids love them too). * Short Rib Hash: Hearty, flavorful, and always great. * Omelette Specials: My usual go-to. Just wish the kitchen would consistently catch that I'm lactose intolerant and need no cheese. The center can also be a bit underdone, especially when I order egg whites -- but flavor-wise, still love it. * Ham Benedict: Solid classic. * Steak & Eggs: Disappointing the one time we tried it -- especially given the price point. * The Big Nasty: Legit comfort food, but would love if it came on a biscuit instead of a soft bun (or if there was an option to swap). * Breakfast Potatoes: Extra crispy with onions -- I personally love them, but some might find them a touch too dark Drinks: * Coffee menu is limited -- just drip, cappuccino, and double espresso, with cream as the only option. * Would love to see non-dairy milk options and better coffee quality overall -- we've skipped brunch a few times because of that. Service & vibe: * Always attentive and friendly. * Really appreciated the thoughtful touch during our last visit -- they surprised my husband with a brownie for his birthday and brought me a dairy-free dessert so I wasn't left out. All in all, Haven remains one of our favorite casual-yet-upscale brunch spots -- just a few tweaks away from being perfect.

They kept the spicy margaritas flowing, and let me tell you those drinks have just enough kick to make you rethink your life choices in the best way possible. Now, let's talk about this food, because I'm pretty sure I heard angels singing. The Fried Wings were fried to such perfection I'm convinced the chef has a PhD in crunch-ology. The Yams! These sweet potatoes were clearly touched by the Candy Lady herself. I don't know if it's sugar or magic, but I'm addicted. The Mac and Cheese! It was so perfect I almost asked it to marry me. My husband, went the "responsible" route with the baked turkey wing, green beans, and yellow rice. That turkey was falling off the bone like it was tired of being an overachiever, and the green beans had more flavor than my entire childhood. Even the rice was seasoned like it had a point to prove. Bottom line: If you're looking for us, we'll be here. This isn't just a meal, it's a spiritual experience. If "Soul Food" is the question, this place is the only answer.

I do use AI to write these easily, so pardon the clunkiness lol…read more The Food The menu here is a really cool take on elevated yet comfortable Southern food. After a few visits, I've tried a good variety of the menu: * **Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich:** This is served open-face and uses a mix of Sichuan and Calabrian chili. It is absolutely amazing, but fair warning: it is *hot*. Even if you're used to Sichuan spice, this one may still be tough to deal with, but it's still incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. Just keep in mind that they don't adjust the heat level for this one. * **The Greens:** These are wonderful. They have a rich, savory pork flavor and are easily a must-order for me every single time. * **Shrimp and Grits:** This has a fantastic sauce that strikes the perfect balance--not too heavy, but not watery either. My only minor wish is that they'd add some andouille sausage to it (even if raised the price), but it's still a really well-executed dish. * **Southern Pho:** Really great and super hearty. It's a comforting bowl, though probably best enjoyed during the winter months. * **Drinks:** The cocktails are always creative and well-made, and they keep a really interesting beer list on hand too. ### 2. The Ambience The vibe here is great. The interior feels like a charming, cozy little house you'd find in Savannah. I especially love the bar area, which has these really cool copper chandelier lights that give the space a warm, inviting glow. ### 3.
