Cute little spot off the side of the road that we almost missed. We stopped here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations. The bartender made us some delicious drinks. There is a food station outside but we didn't eat because we have dinner plans. The food we saw come out both looked and smelled aaahhh-mazing! There is inside seating in a lounge area beside the bar, a library, and an upstairs area with games. We opted for outdoor seating because the weather was awesome. There are options picnic tables or chairs. Highly recommend even if you're stopping by for 1 drink!

Nice space! a little drive North of Blanco and if you are staying in the area worth the trip. Big suggestion! do not order a flight of whisky. I love to order flights of beer and whisky when I am visiting a new place. However all the whisky is over proof and is very strong like white lightning. I highly suggest you get a cocktail, especially if you do not like strong drink. I will say most of all the whisky I tried was very strong and the flavor was mild. The cocktails were very very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you cannot decide what to get try the Pre mixed old fashion. They are very good. Would recommend and return.

Greeted as soon as we walked in. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful on putting together a delicious tasting flight . He explained the process so well. The flight was a great deal and great experience. The area is large and open and comfortable seating. There's also an area upstairs that I did not look at but there was a large group enjoying themselves up there. There's food only certain days of the week, not the day we went unfortunately. Would love to return with a group.

We scheduled a tour in advance to Andalusia Whiskey distillery. There was four of us and we had a great tour on the grounds. They explained the distillation process and we had tastings of several of their bottled products. Very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting presentation. I would definitely recommend you make a day out to visit!

I like high proof so I go Rickhouse. Don't miss out on Stryker and the master Distiller here is a true artist. Ask him about his rum.

Great walking tour of a American Single Malt Distillery. Their bar staff will listen and make great suggestions. The bar itself is great for tasting. Take a chance and bottle your own.

Stopped in for a quick pit stop after a long week of camping. Wifey had Irish cream soda which she loved, I had the pain killer which was legit. We were sad to see the prices at the cool little food building in the back were steep, but we saw other peoples food and it looked and smelled amazing , drinks were legit. Server was nice. !

I really loved this place! I loved the aesthetic inside, really cute and plenty of room. They had games and things available as well. The drinks were so good and really affordably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. We tried the alcohol infused chocolates, which were also great. Would definitely recommend and will go back!

Doing the Texas Whiskey trail and decided to go to Andalusia Whiskey on a Monday, yes they are open on Monday. Monday was a perfect day to go as husband and I had the whole place to ourselves. The staff here is SO nice and helpful. We were greeted and told about all the whiskeys they make and the history of the distillery. We got to meet the head distiller and we were shown a peat brick. Fun stuff. This place has LOTS of places to sit as they have a cute quiet library area and upstairs bar felling area upstairs and a comfortable coach room in the middle of the first floor. We did a flight of several of their different liquors. At $3.00 a 1/2 ounce pour it was easy to sample several different types of liquors. All of the whiskeys were enjoyable as was the pour of brandy along with the pour of the old fashion mixer. I will return to this distillery and I recommend that you go and enjoy this place as the whiskey and liquor here is really outstanding. Go and enjoy.

My wife likes to go to Fredericksburg for the wineries. I like to go to stop in Blanco for Andalusia. I've gone here many times. Always friendly. The drinks are generous. The quality of the whiskey is exceptional.

Another amazing little gem in the heart of the Hill Country. I'm not gonna lie, the drive (and company) from San Antonio to these spots is often the highlight of the experience. The scenery is beautiful and quaint and you encounter fewer angry, aggressive drivers from the main interstates. I digress. Andalusia is a warm and inviting space. It's like setting foot in a grand living room with a fancy bar. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and happy to share information as well. The decor is so interesting and provides a glimpse into the history of whiskey distillation. The outdoor seating is nice and comfortable giving cozy backyard vibes. There are Adirondack chairs and cozy little sectionals that make for a perfectly relaxing day. Their whiskey is smooth and tasty. Can't complain about it. Also they had Crossroads Bakery and Bistro truck on site which was heavenly! Separate review to follow. This is a nice spot to pop into or make it a destination.

The Stryker was a little smokier than that, and the White Pearl was the cleanest of the three but best for mixing.

SOLD. We'll split it! The meals arrived quickly, complete with beautifully cooked asparagus and perfectly roasted potatoes. There simply aren't enough adjectives to describe the flavor and tenderness of the ribeye, cooked to absolute perfection and crowned with a homemade lobster butter compound that took it completely over the top. The owners are gracious, thoughtful, and incredibly talented in the kitchen. My only regret? I live three hours away and can't return as often as I'd like.

Our mixologist, Logan (absolutely wonderful human being) not only made us the most delicious pecan praline whiskey cocktail but he also gave use some incredible history on the space & of course the ghosts! The limestone walls are original. Much of the decor adorning the walls was found in the building. Some of the wall hangings include an original bond and doctor prescriptions for whiskey. The furnishings and accessories complement the rooms to enhance the feeling of old-west prohibition. The velvet pieces exemplify burlesque. Total "hitch your horse to a post, mosey on down for a secret drink and a good time" vibes. Logan spun a tale of ghosts appearing in selfies taken by previous guests. The story was sensational and I was all about it. A wonky thing happened with the POS system while we were there that required a reboot. I joked that the ghosts thought I was taking too many pictures. Dark, moody, sexy, and relaxing...everything you want in a speakeasy---& good drinks too, of course. Absolute works of liquid art!

The other room felt weird with the restroom washing station being next to the seating.

There are some highly interesting bourbons as well. The selection of ryes is thin. If you read Whiskey Advocate (which I have been known to do), the rye curating will give you no thrills. The selection of Irish is thin as well - but no blame on that point. The population of upscale Irishes is just not that large, once you pass some over-rated cliches like Redbreast. * * * Seven Grand however is not an abstract name. That is how much you will pay in order to drink here. The prices for two ounces of many of those beverages will make the eyes pop out of your head sideways and go running out the front door. In more than a few cases, two drinks here will cost you close to what you would pay for a full bottle purchased at a liquor store. Now to be sure - bar drinking is expensive. That kind of percentage markup is not unheard of in the industry. But when you move up the price range for the raw material, The absolute amount of money you are overpaying to have that drink goes up astronomically. I will pay big for a peak experience I will remember for the rest of my life. (See my review of Craft Omakase.) I will not pay big for a random experiment with a bottle that could be wonderful and could be overrated. It is more economical to just buy the bottle. If the experiment works, I get a free month of legendary drinking. To my mind, bottle testing at Seven Grand just doesn't make sense.

My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there.
