I think I've already posted on every other site. But here goes again! Great food, great service! And they love dogs! The inside is comfy and has great seating for larger parties. We have been here over 5- times in the last 2-months. And we will make it a habit!

The Wyatt Earp pizza is so tasty-does not disappoint.

When it came time to pay, the server got upset because I was using one dollar coins to pay. I was paying in American legal tender one dollar coins and he says we do not accept this as payment. I said they are legal tender one dollar coins and he says again we do not accept this kind of payment. So I ended up using my debit card. This place does not accept legal one dollar coins for payment of any type. I asked to speak to a manager and he says we do not have a manager here. I always use one dollar establishments around there. They always accept them. We will not be going back there. Because they do not accept American legal of one dollar coins. His demeanor and attitude immediately became rather distasteful. this kind of we will not be going back there this establishment for the local area.

Food - 4 Stars Atmosphere - 4 Stars…read moreService - 5 Stars We make regular trips to Fredericksburg and decided to try this place on the way. It is a part of Carter Creek Resort and Winery. After driving through the entry gate, I had mixed emotions. The entry road was not that well maintained, we passed several large parking lots that weren't really that well maintained either. There were some grape vines in view and they were in really poor shape, which made me question what the rest of the facility would be like. I am pleased to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The rest of the facility that we experienced was well maintained and pretty "cool". There was a really large grassy area accompanied by a covered Pavilion when you first walk in. We did not go into the Cottages that were for rent in the resort, but they looked cute from the outside. The restaurant decor was nice and the service was excellent. The food was good but not off the chain. The food was kind of "fusion" inspired and not your regular run-of-the-mill menu items, although there were a few of those, also. Most of the main entrees were a little bit pricey, in my opinion. We were there for lunch and so they did offer some lunch items but we opted for a main entree. The lunch options were more reasonably priced and consisted mostly of hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads. I opted for the Birria Beef Stroganoff (Yep, there's that "Fusion" thing). While it had good flavor, there was no "Stroganoff" component to it (that I could tell), other than a small dollop of sour cream that I discovered towards the end of my dish. It was more like Pasta Alfredo with Birria Beef on top. My wife had the BLT salad with the addition of grilled chicken. The dish was sort of anemic and lacked any creativity. In summary, I would go back, but would try some different menu items. Since we were there for lunch on a Friday there wasn't any other sort of entertainment other than the wine tasting room. We did notice that they have a comedy show and some live entertainment on weekend nights.

The shishito peppers were good but needed a little salt. The chicken fried steak had really well-seasoned breading, but it fell off the meat pretty easily. The steak itself was a little tough and chewy. The mashed potatoes were cold and could've used a little more flavor, but the green beans were good. Overall, it's a solid spot for dinner. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight, and I'd come back to try something different on the menu.

There's inside and outside seating as well as bar. You enter and they hand you the menus. Despite the red neon order here sign right next to the entrance counter, it's not readily apparent that you do indeed order there. And I noticed it wasn't just us waiting for someone to come take our order as we waited. You seat yourself so unless they tell you directly to order at the counter you could miss it. So when the red neon sign finally clicked in my head, I went over to order. But while I was ordering two more parties came up and asked if they needed to order there. So maybe some more clarity up front outside the sign haha I ordered the Cali burger, my son had a burger, and they had a fajita special that his mom ordered. We also ordered a pretzel. Obviously being a pub they had beers. Non/alcoholic was a limited assorted of coke fair. Only unsweetened tea. No lemonade. Pretzel was soft and delicious. My son's mom loved the fajitas and the beans that came with them. The burgers were also really good. Bread nice and soft. Patties a good thickness. We all enjoyed what we had. No fries though. You get chips for your potato fix. The staff was also very friendly. It wasn't too loud in there and we were able to talk easily. If you're hungry don't pass them by.

This place is different, though. They have my absolute favorite bock and my favorite hefeweizen ever! I also had a sample of their Helles, and it was just as awesome. I don't know what they're doing with their beer, but they need to keep doing it! They have plenty of outdoor space with lots of shade, a playground for the kids, and food trucks on site. We've visited once and are looking forward to a return visit soon. Lots of trees and outdoor seating, live music, food trucks, and a welcoming tap room. So let's talk about that tap room and the pours within it: There are 12 beers on tap (again, hence the name). We've not been through them all but the couple we've were up there with some of the best we've had in Europe. No joke. Like most breweries they have regular beers on tap as well as seasonal pours. N/A options also available. Helles on Wheels is a German lager (oh yes it is) that's light and refreshing. The Hero is also an amazing pour. I'm a huge fan of Hefeweizen and this is one of the best I've ever had. The McGregor actually really reminds me of Ireland. Like a beer you'd find in a quaint village and wish you could take it home with you. Lots of others that we need to get back and try out. Welcoming and fun place.
