The restaurant was quiet enough so that we were able to have a delightful conservation. We shared a 12 oz filet, which I considered pricey at $72 with no sides. It was cooked properly as ordered, but the tenderness just wasn't there. The couple with us ordered the buttery sauce that accompanied the appetizer to go with their steak, we should have done likewise. Frankly the steak that I Sous Vide the week before was MUCH better tasting and more tender. For appetizers, we had the escargot. This was perfect, very buttery & great to dip the bread. We also had the wedge salad, which Zavier split for us before bringing them out. As in a typical steakhouse, sides aren't included. The ones we had, creamed spinach and jalapeño mac & cheese were delish. The birthday boy with us was served a complimentary dessert. We shared it and it (brownie) was superb. It was a nice touch!

We've…read morelived in New Braunfels for eight years and had always heard great things, so we were genuinely excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, the experience was a major disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the service felt underwhelming. The greeting was lackluster, with very little warmth or enthusiasm, and we were seated next to the kitchen and restrooms, not exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for on such a special occasion. Throughout the evening, the waitstaff seemed disengaged and offered very little interaction beyond the basics. The tuna appetizer was fine, but it ended up being the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the Wagyu strip steak, and it was extremely disappointing. It was tough, gristly, improperly cooked, and lacked the rich flavor you would expect from a quality steak. In fact, it had an almost unpleasant taste. Management was kind enough to remove the inedible steak from the bill. I ordered the filet and shrimp. The filet was okay, but certainly not memorable and nowhere near what I expected from a restaurant with this reputation and price point. The shrimp were even more disappointing--just three boiled shrimp with no real flavor other than the butter poured over them. Honestly, I've had better steak and shrimp combinations at chain restaurants such as Longhorn steakhouse - not the comparison expected when spending 2-3x the price. We also ordered the scalloped potatoes, which were simply awful. They were dry, bland, and had a strange dusty taste that made them difficult to enjoy. For a restaurant that positions itself as a premier steakhouse, this was a surprisingly poor experience. What should have been a memorable anniversary dinner turned into a meal that left us frustrated and disappointed. Between the lackluster service, poor seating, and disappointing food, we left wondering how this restaurant earned its reputation. Sadly, I can't recommend Myron's based on our experience, and we won't be returning.

But at my age anytime you are over ground is the best occasion. I have heard it is real fancy. And it is. Do not come in Crocs and sweatpants. This is not that restaurant. It is that restaurant where you should make reservations. It is also a place that emphasizes presentation and service. We came right when it opened and we informed the hostess of our reservations. We were seated in the bar area. Once inside I was struck by its ambience. It is sleek, dark and dare say "sexy." Our server, who was extremely attentive came to our table and took our drink orders. My partner ordered an Old Fashioned and me, a Lagunitas IPA. Whilst waiting for our drinks I looked over the room. One thing I noticed was a barrier that separated the bar area and the dining room. The Social Hour is meant, to socialize. I saw couples leaning into each other. Another group were drinking martinis with a seafood tower, almost touching the ceiling. Conversations were had. Romantic glances were exchanged. It isn't a casual place like Bubba's 33 nor Texas Roadhouse. It feels like a place best suited for a date night or an anniversary. I'm wondering how the dining room area is? The Social Hour does offer some drink and small bites specials. We ordered the kabob with pineapple, brussel sprouts, and sliders. They were all pretty great. It reminded me of the same experience as in partaking in tapas. I would remiss if I didn't relay our service here, it was excellent. Our server, Holiday(I hope I spelled it right.) treated us like we were the only patrons there. I've gone to upscale restaurants where staff looks at you up and down. Or they try to size you up. This is not that place. Which was so refreshing. If this place went above and beyond my expectations why didn't I give it four stars? In my opinion I think that a place that creates an upscale experience needs to have a few beers on tap. Even places like Wing Daddy's or Chili's offers a few beers on tap. Secondly, the bar area seating feels a bit tight. I wonder when the dinner crowd arrives would you be in the lap, of someone else's conversation? I still highly recommend this place. The Social Hour area is perfect for a date or an anniversary. The service and food were both excellent. And I've never been to a place where you are given warm hand towels. It reminded me of that scene with Adam Sandler in "The Wedding Singer" minus Billy Idol.

Not really festive for us 4 girls dressed up as I thought we'd sit by a window but we made the best of it. Kenzi was our server and she was bubbly and my friend told her she looks like "Taylor Swift" and Kenzi said she gets that a lot. The birthday girl and another friend arrived early, before me and my other friend so they both ordered appetizers and drinks. One ordered a beet/radicchio-arugula/goat cheese salad and a mocktail and the other one ordered a wedge salad and Espresso Martini. My friend shared her beet salad and it was delicious! We all ordered the Pork Chop Special and I ordered a 15 oz. Prosecco. They have 2 sizes: 5 oz. and 7.5 oz. When our entrees arrived we dove right into them. I haven't had it in a long time and this version is now slightly sweet, smoky and caramelized all over which is nice! It came with a side of whipped potatoes and applesauce. Of course we all couldn't finish it so we took our leftovers home. A couple of friends even ordered Pork Chops to go for their hubbies. One friend orders the Pork Chops from Seasons 52 and she was impressed with this one as well as the deal! She also scarfed on the bread and was raving about it but ate so much before the Pork Chop arrived that she was a little full! Kenzi came by once in awhile so we just poured our own waters from the carafe we set aside on the shelf behind. She took it, though but came back later to pour more. For a bday dessert choice, my friend ordered the trio of mini desserts so we could all try them. Nice little bites after a heavy meal. When we paid, Kenzi accidentally put my bday friend's Pork Chop on mine and added the bday salad and drink on my other friend's tab when she was supposed to pay for all of the bday friend's meal. Kenzi apologized and corrected it. She might have been overwhelmed by the volume of people? Restrooms are clean and fully stocked with supplies. We used it before we left then went to the front to have photos taken. When I asked the hostess/check-in area, where there were 3 female employees, one female employee said "Sure" yet one female just looked away dismissively which I thought was odd. I just had a questionable feeling because we were sat in a corner and then the female turning her head away felt like she was ignoring us. I know they're busy seating people but this was already 2:45pm. I think the male employee with a grey suit who was behind the station standing there may have been the Manager saw no one stepped up so he offered to take our photos. He had a friendly attitude and thanked us for coming in. Duly noted...

We arrived at noon, just an hour after opening, and the restaurant was nearly empty. The greeter asked us to wait a few minutes before seating, which puzzled us, but we complied. When she returned, we understood why. Our table was decorated with a Happy Anniversary sign, hearts scattered across the tablecloth, a handwritten card, and a single rose. It was a beautiful gesture and made us feel celebrated from the start. For our appetizer, we ordered the Milk Bread with Lavender Butter. The flavor was wonderful, both the bread and the butter. The only caveat was the texture. Milk bread is traditionally made with the Tangzhong method for a cloud‑soft, airy interior, but this version was extremely dense and heavy. My husband ordered the Petite Bone‑In Ribeye (14 oz) with Chipotle Mac & Cheese and a Tropical Tea, which was excellent. I ordered the Prix Fixe with the Fleming Salad and Filet Medallions in demi‑glace with Campari tomatoes and sautéed spinach. This is where the experience shifted. The Fleming Salad arrived limp and wilted, with a presentation that immediately signaled something was off. Instead of the two medallions pictured online, I received one. The filet itself was medium‑rare in the center, but the top was blackened, crispy, and literally hard as a rock. It was tough, difficult to chew, and not at all the texture or quality of a filet. I did not finish it. The sautéed spinach was overwhelmed by demi‑glace, more sauce than vegetable. We did not order dessert, but the staff surprised us with four chocolate truffles infused with orange liqueur as an anniversary treat. My Blackberry Lavenderade was also very good. The hospitality and staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. However, the food fell short for a restaurant with premiere pricing and the word Steakhouse in the name. The space itself could use polish as well. The plates showed decades of wear, there was a faint old‑carpet smell, and the bathroom was extremely dark with fixtures and granite that clearly have not been updated since opening. Fleming's made us feel celebrated, and I appreciated that deeply. But the meal did not match the level of care or the price point.
