We reached out to our photographer Dawn Honsky who recommended the inn. The owner Eilis had so many ideas and made the transition of a large wedding to a smaller wedding so easy. Eilis made our experience amazing. She was all hands-on deck and made sure every detail happened in order to make sure we had a wonderful experience. When we came up for the wedding shower a couple months out, we saw that the place we originally booked was unacceptable. We drove around looking at different spots, and that's how we found Green Haven Resort. The place truly lives up to its name- a haven! Barbara was wonderful- I was able to book this cabin. The kids stayed in one room and my husband & I in the other. It was a perfect arrangement. The place was clean, safe, peaceful, accommodating and FUN! I very much hope for an occasion to go back, and maybe try to bring extended family together for a reunion weekend on this gem of a property. It exceeded my expectations by far- if you're considering it, GO FOR IT!

Wasn't bad during the day. But got home at 1AM from a show that we were outside all night at. Then slept in cold all night and got up and it was absolutely freezing. Pack layers if you can because obviously no one replaced the knob for us... I guess children to have access to the heat. Pretty deal for me when paying so much for TINY cottage. Insane! Otherwise if we could have gotten some heat very please but heat is unfortunately a huge deal.

The bathroom was fully sized with a shower head that had very good pressure. There was a nice kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, two burner stove and all the kitchen utensils/pots you will need. There were four solid, Adirondack chairs surrounding a fire pit that included, dry cut wood. Also, a picnic table that at night we played cards on. The location was a five minute drive to all the shops and the beach. It was very convenient to everything in the area. The pool was very clean and refreshing. My 11 year old loved it had a deep end so he cannonball into it. Plenty of chairs to sit out and spread on. I also have to mention Chris and Amy, two of the property keepers that keep the place wonderful looking and make sure you have everything you need. Chris even offered to start a fire for me. I would highly recommend this establishment.

The food was outstanding, the views from the fourth floor open terraces were breathtaking, and the wait staff was courteous, experienced, and efficient. We all had a great time celebrating the bride and groom to be. My photos should give you an idea of how nice it was. My daughter's Bachelorette Party Weekend was in a gorgeous large fourth floor suite with bedrooms and a full kitchen in August. It was an outstanding setting that was spacious and had nice open terraces. Recommend it highly for a private party.

Checking in was super easy and quick. The hotel appearance is very well maintained out/in. My room was a suite with a king size bed, full kitchen and get this washer and dryer. I mean this room was better that when I used to live in a studio apt. The hotel also provides water and everything you need to wash clothes. The room was super nice and very well kept. The Customer service was impeccable any where you went. The hotel is centrally located and its close to Broadway, main strip for types of bars and restaurants. Hint......Do not come when its Saratoga horse racing season, you will pay up the wazuuuuu. But do try highly recommend. Kudos to the hotel staff keep up the great work!!

The only down side is the location of the bed and breakfast but it's fortunately far enough from the road to escape the area (which is not the most attractive area) but it is conveniently close to Lake George and the center of Adirondacks so you can overlook the location. The young couple that own and run the B&B were so friendly and accommodating. The room was wonderful, with a jet tub, heated bathroom floor and a bed that felt heavenly.
