    1st Grade Field Trip

Tasty tour for elementary school aged children. Lasts about an hour. It starts with Calcie The Cow who provides tidbits of information at the very start and finish of the tour. The film portion takes up a large portion on the tour. Being a local myself, I enjoyed hearing about the history of Las Vegas. But in my opinion, it was a bit too long for the targeted demographic. 1st graders aren't known to have the longest attention span. But once they hear the words ICE CREAM, they're all ears. The tour itself consists of a quick walk down a long hallway with vintage neon signs, old photographs and our tour guide telling us about the beginnings of the company. She was very engaging, asking the children questions to keep them interested. You can tell she's done the tour many times before. Immaculate facility but it's not on the best side of town. I probably wouldn't have visited on my own but on this particular day, I was a chaperone for my daughter field trip. Didn't see many employees walking around the facility, just mostly machinery and animatronics. The tour concluded with a scoop of ice cream for everyone. Highlight of my daughters day.

What a cool place to take little ones to learn all about a dairy factory! Both of my little guys loved the tour and especially loved the ice cream at the end. It's so interesting to see the history of Anderson Dairy and how long they've been in Las Vegas (since 1907!) this is really nice that they do tours so you can learn all about how dairy farms and factories work. My kids already want to go back!

Its ok. I think the group was too big or just not set up to be a "tour" maybe the guid was new? She had no personal connection or interest in having fun and making kids excited. The room most of the tour is held in was very clean and cute. The video had some bad taste and bullied jokes that were a bit rude and could simply be said differently. If this is for kids we want to teach acceptance right? So we should knock or bash any era or person. The ice cream was amazing (duh we knew that tho!) but maybe when showing the factory is all about milk maybe do milk as they watch the show? The penguins and fog was ment to be neat just depends on the age of the kid (I think 3-4th graders it's perfect for) any younger they all seemed scared. I would recommend it for a troop activity or school but as a family tour or tourist activity its a no.

This tour rocks, and it's FREE! Make sure and call ahead and book a time. The tour was quick, less then an hour with a video about the history and a look through glass windows of some of their packing rooms and freezer room. Every single staff member was inredibly nice and the ice cream is awesome!!! We went to the store that night and bought some...so good!!!

I have tried several times calling Anderson dairy for a tour and they will not return my phone call. I have no idea why?

As a Las Vegas local who frequently visits both Chinatown and the Arts District, I was impressed that Lip Smacking Foodie Tours still introduced me to places I had never been to, along with a few restaurants that had already been on my list to try. Both of my tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the local food scene. They made everyone feel welcome, and the experience felt personal from start to finish. I value great service just as much as great food, and they truly delivered on both. This may honestly be one of my favorite experiences in Las Vegas, and I plan on doing every tour they offer. Even the guests on my most recent tour shared that they make it a tradition to book a Lip Smacking Foodie Tour whenever they visit Las Vegas because it's one of their favorite ways to explore the city. I can't wait to experience the remaining tours. I've heard wonderful things about them, and based on the two I've already done, I'm confident they'll exceed my expectations.

*** This review is for the downtown experience ***…read more Funny how their company involves the name " foodie". There was nothing "foodie" about this tour. Should be called- " deep fried bar food after midnight tour". The restaurants on our list did not showcase their specialty known for items that they are proud of. Instead they just shlepped 3 to 4 of their cheapest mostly fried appetizer food items on our table without explanation ( EXCEPT Carson Kitchen, the waitress was extremely sweet and attentive and informative. However the offerings AGAIN were akin to late night bar food). The worst part? We are locals. And fell for this " foodie"drivel. And oh, reaching a customer service agent? Good luck! Thats a whole other Yelp review. Absolutely nothing that these restaurants served would entice us to return. Lesson learned!

Here were some positive and a very big negative with the company's customer service (see below). Positives: Carson's kitchen was great! They sat us right away and all the food was amazing. My boyfriend doesn't eat seafood so when they brought out the first course (deviled eggs), they left the caviar off. We also had the fried chicken skins, the rainbow cauliflower and a watermelon, feta salad that was so delicious. 7th and Carson was also great. The staff was friendly and gave us a nice rundown of the meal. The arugula salad with poached pears and burratta was so good, and the gnocchi with a mushroom cream sauce was also fantastic. The fish and chips were pretty good, but I only had a bite since we were pretty full and I'm not a big friend food fan. They also brought us a little dessert tart that was cute and just the right amount of sweet to cap the night. Cons: Therapy was very disappointing. I had read reviews previously and saw what was previously offered at each location, so when they brought out poke, crab salad and bruschetta it was a less than good surprise. As mentioned above, my boyfriend doesn't eat seafood and dispute adding that to the notes, most of the food at therapy was seafood. He tried to be a good sport and tasted the poke, but ended up leaving all of his food. As for me, I love seafood and I too was still disappointed. The poke lacked flavor aside from the very potent wasabi sauce on top, the crab salad/cake was not good. It was on a chunk of friend avocado. Warm/friend avocado is not a good flavor or texture for me and the crab salad was not good. Too much red bell pepper that overpowered the flavor of the crab. The bruschetta was fine and the only thing my bf touched there. Final and biggest negative for this review is for the finger licking foodie tour customer service. I saw it mentioned in another review but was so surprised at how rude the staff of the company was when I called after not receiving any confirmation information for our tour. I called the morning of our tour and the guy asked if I'd checked my spam. I was on my phone and didn't initially see it but did find it after a little searching. I then asked if there was anything I needed to do before showing up for the tour and he replied with the most annoyed tone "did you read the email". I had just owned the email and was trying to skim it quickly while on the call in case I had additional questions before we hung up and when I shared that and said I didn't want to waste his time trying to read thoroughly and again he said "well did you read the email yet". I've honestly never had someone be so rude, especially when I was being very friendly. Turns out there was nothing important specific that we needed to do except show up on time, easy enough to say on the phone (I was worried there was something extra I might need to sign to confirm or something). If he's the owner, he must not like his job, and if the owner is reading this and some of the other reviews it might be worth having a conversation or putting that person in a non customer facing role. As someone who works in CS, even on a bad day I wouldn't take it out on a customer who was approaching with kindness.
