I immediately contacted disaster care and spoke to the owner Al. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the process and has been doing the business for over 27 years. We had so much anxiety and after talking to him we felt so much better. After he arrived at the home he assessed every wall every floor and every ceiling with a thermal camera and moisture meter. He found water under my tile and even though it was recommended by the insurance company to remove it he was able to save it by drying out the floor. He tore out the old carpet and pad for me. His prices were reasonable but his service and support were phenomenal! I would highly recommend and his business to anyone that has a home emergency. They worked for several hours mitigating the damage, knowing where water gets to, tearing out the ceiling and walls to find the leak. They came back everyday for the next several days to check humidity levels and rearrange the fans. They met with our insurance adjuster and also worked with the adjuster separately. We were so impressed with the whole operation, professionalism, and personal care they provided. That was the best call I made that Sunday morning.

People are generally friendly here, respectful and quiet. Lots of machines of different prices and sizes. Easy to use. A large capacity machine we used did an excellent job for $2.50. Same load needed $3 to dry. From beginning to end, it took us just over 1 hour to wash/dry/fold. The male attendant who was working was totally agreeable and refunded me $.50 which I felt had been lost to a faulty machine... it turned out to be a miscalculation on my part. I appreciated that he not only refunded me the change, but explained took the time to kindly explain how the cost is affected by different cycles and water temperatures. Good to know for next time! I didn't see any wheelchair accessible or lower height models that could be accessed by shorter people. Great folding tables. There is one table with four attached chairs and a few benches to sit on inside the facility. There is free Wi-Fi. There is a laundry soap vending machine that seemed to have a good variety of products. There are also change machines. There are two washrooms that seemed clean from a distance, although I did not use either. On the downside, I found that the machines themselves needed a good cleaning and disinfecting in most of their soap dispenser reservoirs. The garbage cans could use a good washing too.
