We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. The olive oil tasting farm is located in a nice neighborhood area in downtown Los Olivos. There is parking accessible in the back parking lot and limited parking next to the olive oil tasting area and boutique shop. As soon as we parked and headed to the olive oil tasting area, we were greeted by a very friendly and hospitable staff member. I appreciated all the information she told us about the property and instructions about the olive oil tasting experience. Their complimentary olive oil tasting was unique and unlike any other olive oil tasting I had ever done before. There were 10 different olive oils to taste from. You are given a freshly made sourdough bread slice to go along with a tray with a menu sheet of all the olive oils. Some of the olive oils that stood out to me were the white truffle, garlic, and Italian honey. We were then encouraged to explore the rest of the property where there was a charcuterie cart, pottery vendor, and complimentary wine tasting on the other side of the premises. This enhanced our olive oil tasting experience even more. The rest of the property was beautiful as there were a lot of tables and chairs for guests to enjoy. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Olive + Lavender Farms. The staff were nice and accommodating. The vibe was relaxing and inviting. Unpacked, went downstairs told the front girl what happened to me and she did attempt to write down what I said but instantly picked up the phone and asked me a few questions as she was on the phone. This threw me off because I wasn't sure if she was randomly pretending to pickup the phone or was answering a call and not saying anything but mouthing stuff to me. The phone never rang, unless she saw a massive light underneath hidden where no one can see except for her and thought the call was more important than my issue. Went back to my room and noticed two more things that I was not happy about. The shower water was not working properly and the ac does not shutoff. Breakfast food was just ok. The lady making the omelettes forgot our orders. The complimentary drinks / snacks (cubed cheddar cheese, crackers, stale carrots, broccoli were ok. No one went over and beyond to make us feel welcome

It definitely adds to the vibe, and it's nice to hear that the younger generation appreciates some good old '90s and 2000s music. I just hope no one complains one day and gets it shut down because that would totally kill the atmosphere. Most of the gym-goers here are polite and respectful, which makes working out a lot more enjoyable. It's also kind of fun to see all the gym rats checking themselves out in the mirror - definitely adds some character to the place! Guys, the gym membership is a mandatory portion of your tuition, so it's totes worth it to participate. Park off-campus, ride yr bike in orrrrr rollerblade. Makes life simple.
