Glad we added it to the itinerary. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. The olive oil tasting farm is located in a nice neighborhood area in downtown Los Olivos. There is parking accessible in the back parking lot and limited parking next to the olive oil tasting area and boutique shop. As soon as we parked and headed to the olive oil tasting area, we were greeted by a very friendly and hospitable staff member. I appreciated all the information she told us about the property and instructions about the olive oil tasting experience. Their complimentary olive oil tasting was unique and unlike any other olive oil tasting I had ever done before. There were 10 different olive oils to taste from. You are given a freshly made sourdough bread slice to go along with a tray with a menu sheet of all the olive oils. Some of the olive oils that stood out to me were the white truffle, garlic, and Italian honey. We were then encouraged to explore the rest of the property where there was a charcuterie cart, pottery vendor, and complimentary wine tasting on the other side of the premises. This enhanced our olive oil tasting experience even more. The rest of the property was beautiful as there were a lot of tables and chairs for guests to enjoy. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Olive + Lavender Farms. The staff were nice and accommodating. The vibe was relaxing and inviting. The boutique shop were selling a lot of wonderful and distinctive local products in the area. The olive oils price point are in the higher end. Next time we are in the area we would love to come back.

We did a free olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting, and both my friend and I bought a bottle of habanero olive oil, so yummy! They sell bundles of lavender, soaps, cute kitchen things, candles etc etc. A great stop to pick up some gifts and great way to support local businesses.

The venue was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our reception. Every detail came together so seamlessly, and our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space and how smoothly everything flowed. The staff was phenomenal--professional, kind, attentive, and always one step ahead. We truly felt like they cared about making our wedding day as special as possible, and they exceeded every expectation. A special thank you to our coordinator, Mel. She was incredible from start to finish. Her organization, communication, and calm presence made the entire day completely stress-free. She handled every detail behind the scenes so we could focus on celebrating with our family and friends. Having someone we could trust so completely was one of the best gifts we could have asked for on our wedding day. If you're looking for a reception venue with an amazing team that genuinely cares about their couples, I can't recommend this venue enough. We are so grateful to Mel and the entire staff for helping create one of the best days of our lives. We will always look back on our wedding with the happiest memories because of everything they did for us. - The Gravetts

It's only about a five minute walk, which made everything so convenient for us and our guests. The food was absolutely amazing. Almost a year later, people are still talking about how delicious it was and how much there was. That alone says so much. On top of that, the pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially compared to other quotes we received that were honestly outrageous. The outdoor space with the fountain is such a beautiful bonus and really added to the atmosphere. The owners were wonderful to work with, even though I was planning everything from out of town. They were extremely accommodating and always responded quickly, usually within a few hours to a day, which made the entire process feel so easy and stress free. The wedding staff were also incredible, so kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire event. They made sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel completely taken care of. I can't recommend this place enough. Definitely check it out!

And sadly I am wrong. Not only did we drive extra 25 minutes out to Lompoc. I paid the $56 early check in and when I walked into my suite and opened the toilet I was surprised to see pee and toilet paper. Disgusting. Whatever I flushed it and cleaned the toilet with my handy Clorox wipes. Unpacked, went downstairs told the front girl what happened to me and she did attempt to write down what I said but instantly picked up the phone and asked me a few questions as she was on the phone. This threw me off because I wasn't sure if she was randomly pretending to pickup the phone or was answering a call and not saying anything but mouthing stuff to me. The phone never rang, unless she saw a massive light underneath hidden where no one can see except for her and thought the call was more important than my issue. Went back to my room and noticed two more things that I was not happy about. The shower water was not working properly and the ac does not shutoff. Breakfast food was just ok. The lady making the omelettes forgot our orders. The complimentary drinks / snacks (cubed cheddar cheese, crackers, stale carrots, broccoli were ok. No one went over and beyond to make us feel welcome

Plus, the recent renovations have made it 10x better. Props to whoever designed the setup - they really thought it through! There are actually two gym buildings, so you've got options depending on what you're looking to do. There's also a pool if you're into swimming, and if you need a run, there's a track nearby. They covered all the bases when putting this place together. One thing I really appreciate is that they let the students run the music - and they crank it. It definitely adds to the vibe, and it's nice to hear that the younger generation appreciates some good old '90s and 2000s music. I just hope no one complains one day and gets it shut down because that would totally kill the atmosphere. Most of the gym-goers here are polite and respectful, which makes working out a lot more enjoyable. It's also kind of fun to see all the gym rats checking themselves out in the mirror - definitely adds some character to the place! Like any gym, it definitely has its peak times when it gets pretty packed. But if you go during the quieter hours, it's an absolute oasis for gym rats. The students using this gym are seriously going to miss it when they move on to chain gyms - they don't know how good they have it! Whether you're lifting, doing cardio, swimming, or just trying to stay active, this gym has you covered. Just plan your visit right, and you'll love it!
