In order for me to install a smaller 36" wide equipment, I had to repair the 45" wide hole to be 36" wide on the countertop. Brandon built a very strong structure with 2 x 3 lumber and plywood to support the weight of 81 lb. equipment with black granite tile which matches the cooktop surface. Upon the completion, I had another contractor to install new equipment. I uploaded the photos for before repair, after repair and final installation.
