Went to have the AC vacuum and refilled after I replace the AC pump. Whenever they got it they said that the cooling fans were not working. Then they tried to say he need all this extra stuff it did not need like an AC installation kit whenever I already installed the AC pump. Went to pick my vehicle up took it to wrightwood on the motor services they were able to fix the car within 30 minutes. They did not try to upsell me anything. I'm a mechanic myself I know what the problem is. This company is sheisty and trying to run a scam business. How can they have the vehicle for 2 days and not figure out the problem but I take it to a shopping wrightwood and they figure it out within 30 minutes. Let alone I asked for a digital print out of the diagnostics they failed to give me a digital print out they wrote it down. How do I know if they wrote down the correct information. read more

Do not go here. I took my car here for a squeaking noise. They immediately diagnosed a bad water pump. I gave the go ahead to fix it. Next day they said they changed the water pump and they said after installation of the water pump the noise was still there. When I asked about the charge for putting in a water pump I didn't need their response was that they expected to pay for a repair I didn't even need. When I protested they said fine that they would put my old water pump back on. They said they would need another day to do it. At this point I didn't want them to have my truck anymore and I said I would pay 200 of the 400 the quoted me to just leave it be. Bottom line is I thought I took it to a professional to have it diagnosed. They weren't able to diagnose it correctly or fix it. I walked out of there with $200 Less in my bank account no better off then I was when I walked in. read more

I took my car in with a difficult electrical/computer problem, and when they couldn't figure out the source of the problem they were willing to admit it. We've had a few things done here in the past without complaint. Last time was another story. Had a emission start up circuit repaired that seemed a little pricey, but that's not the problem. A couple weeks after the repair I opened the hood to check the oil and found that the plastic "appearance" shroud had been broken. Not only was it not mentioned, but somebody had attempted (poorly) to glue it together. I realize that "stuff" happens, but when it does, own it, don't try to hide it. The owner even tried to blame me because the hood struts didn't hold the hood up. Real professional. I priced the shroud and retail it goes for about $50. Owner asked if I would be OK with a good used one. No problem, so he was going to call me back when he found one. That was four months ago. I guess he forgot or was hoping that I would. I can no longer trust this shop. read more

This shop RUINED my dodge caravan. I took it in because it was getting hot, but I used the term overheated. Apparently, overheated means it caught on fire or something. They changed my water pump which took two and a half days! They called and said that I needed to change the timing belt and it would be easy since he already had to take the timing belt off. They wanted 300 bucks for something they already had to do! I declined and said I would get to that next time. When they were FINALLY done changing the water pump they said it was running a little rough. A little rough means that it wouldn't even stay running! when I brought it in it would just get hot when stopped. It ran FINE... But when I got it back it wouldn't stay running. it didn't overheat anymore though. I called them back and they told me that I might have blown the head and to bring it back. They checked the codes and gave me some crap about the fuel injecters. Needless to say, that wasn't the problem. The timing was off. Not the belt! I ended up spending weeks without a car and all it was is they didn't take the time to check to make sure the timing was on!!! I am a single mom who recently lost my job as a manager due to store closure, and they royally screwed me. I missed three doctors appointments, a job interview and was forced to rely on others to make sure my children made it to school. This ended up costing me so much more than money, and they need to either refund my money or be put out of business. I have had the van timed and it is fine. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC read more

I have never written a negative review, I've always try to find the good in people .However, this should not go unchecked. Anderson Automotive is a rip off. After $80.00 to inspect my truck to find out why the battery was dead or not charging, after two days of BS, he told me that the BODY CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. At a cost of $300.00 ,"seems to be their magic fix all pricing." For some reason I didn't buy what they feeding me, so I paid the $80.00 got my keys jumped in my truck (STARTED RIGHT UP) "they did charge the battery" and drove down to the man I trust ,Dave (Ally Auto Repair in Ontario on 9th),he checked my truck out (less then 2hours) and told me there was nothing wrong, the battery needed charged, He didn't ask me for a dime and told me there is no reason for me to charge a man for work that doesn't need to be done. I KNOW HE WILL NEVER CHEET ME LIKE ANDERSON AUTOMOTIVE. Its funny I believe in keeping our tax money up in the High Desert , but with a Business like Anderson's how can we build trust.
