While on a trip back home on a Saturday from Lake Isabella, car broke down and had it towed here. Lalo had it diagnosed very quickly and informed me they would need to keep the car till Monday as they'd need to get a part in. As my return home was still over an hour away, I was going to call my wife and have her come get me but Lalo offered to drive me to his place which was only 15 mins away, saving my wife a round trip of about 2hr of time. Then on Monday he called to say the car was done and that he could drive it again to his house so we could pick it up there without having to drive up to get it! Even though there are probably 50 mechanics closer, I'd definitely consider taking our car back to precision auto should I need a mechanic again! read more

Worthless service. I brought my vehicle in and followed up four times the next day with the front receptionist, who was unable to provide any information on whether the car had even been evaluated. I received a series of excuses, starting with "the system is down" and then "my manager isn't in," with no meaningful assistance provided. When I finally drove back to tow the vehicle to another shop, they put the car on a lift for roughly 30 minutes--right before closing--just so they could justify charging a $96 diagnostic fee. The mechanic did not diagnose anything, and I left without even a basic understanding of what was wrong with the car. I paid $200 to have the vehicle towed to this shop and another $96 for a "diagnostic" they clearly did not perform. At no point did anyone contact me with an update or communicate the status of my vehicle. Nearly $300 was wasted for absolutely no service. The front desk staff displayed poor attitudes, showed a complete lack of communication, and the business billed for work that was never done. I ultimately took the vehicle elsewhere--at additional cost to tow agaib--but I am relieved to no longer have it in the hands of this incompetent operation. I will never return to this business for any service after such an unprofessional and costly experience. read more

We were headed from Glendora,CA to Las Vegas when our engine light came on and white smoke came out of the muffler. We had no idea how to choose a repair shop so far from home and by the time we got a tow it was close to closing time. We had called one place nearby who was curt and said that they couldn't get to it until the next day. I called Precision and got a kind and sympathetic person who said to come on in and they would check it out immediately. This place was clean and neat. The people were so considerate and friendly. Lalo took a look under the hood and said that the radiator needed replacement. He showed us where the coolant had leaked and created a big mess. Lalo answered all of our questions and said that he could order the part and have us ready to go by 11:00 the next morning. He also recommended a nice place for us to spend the night and helped us with our luggage. At 10:00, they called and said it was ready. Lalo again handled our luggage for us. I had been so fearful of getting taken advantage of but we were treated extremely well throughout the entire process. I was even pleasantly surprised by the reasonable cost. I went in for an issue with the cars temperature sensor because it was overheating. None of the workers actually spoke to me (the customer). They spoke to the receptionist in Spanish and the she would speak to me, so all I could do is hope that they were being honest with everything. My husband took our 2019 Dodge Charger in for service due to overheating, he was told that the thermostat needed to be replaced. My husband agreed to have the work completed, as soon as he picked up the car, the car continued to overheat. My husband took the car back to Precision Auto Repair and they informed my husband that the Head Gasket needed to be replaced and he should think about getting rid of the car (that these cars do this all the time). My husband took the car for a second opinion, during the diagnostic, it was determined that the thermostat was installed incorrectly, my husband had to purchase a new thermostat and have it replaced (again). Once the new thermostat was installed corrected, his car runs great! My husband called the manager to inform him of the issue with his car and that he (the manager) needs to get his quality control under control, Manager laughed it off. Not happy by the managers response, my husband was not looking for monetary reimbursement, an apology would have been appreciated! We now have a new mechanic at Freedom Auto in Hesperia! These guys are a life saver . Seriously! I called desperately called Saturday afternoon looking around for someone who can take a look at my truck which had a horrible wobbly at low speeds (Dangerous!) I googled and googled and finally came across Precision auto repair. Spoke to Jesse who said they're busy Sunday (they're one of the only guys open in Sundays FYI) Jesse was kind enough to squeeze me in after I explained my situation.THANK You! Next morning at 8am I dropped of my truck and Met Mike, very cool knowledgeable guy. He told me it would be $96 to diagnose the truck , I told him what I thought it would be. A couple hours later Mike called me and said "it's not really any of those things you thought " more than anything you need a new tire. This tire has a bump and it looks like it starting to separate ." He could have easily charged me for all kinds of parts - in My head I knew it was the whole front end that was shot. The next hurdle was to try and find a tire place to get a new tire... that's a whole other story. But by the end of the day I found Tomateros tires got a cheap used tire to get me by... and just like Mike said, Sure enough it was the tire... The wobbling stopped instantly . best shop in the high desert! came to fix an issue for my turbo on my 2013 genisis coupe 2.0t, they supplied the part I needed from they're own inventory and I was charged with a great price in comparison to getting the part from the dealership. They as well helped me out with getting my fenders rolled which is so hard to find shops up here in the high desert to do but they made an exception for me free of charge!!
