Took my truck in for a AC issue. They evacuated my system and refilled it. $320 to find out that was not the issue. That did not change a thing. They stood and stared at my Truck for a hour and tried to guess at the issue and then quoted me $1200 to replace my cooling fan. I left feeling like these guys were clueless. I took my truck to Freedom Auto repair with Jermey. Literally, 5 minutes later he told me what the issue was. It had nothing to do with the fan at all. Gave me a detailed breakdown down of the issue. Truck AC is good for a fraction of the cost these fools wanted to charge me. BTW, I mentioned to Brian at AA that his good rating was impressive. His response.... Update, the first visit was good, but the negligence in their effort may cost me around 3700.00 to fix the a/c. *Fair warning* My first mistake was to tell them "I've never done this on my own before." For the first time in my life I've had to deal with all these issues alone. My second mistake was to expect them to solve my a/c problem by the second attempt while my warranty was still active. After two attempts they not only couldn't fix it, they said there was nothing else they could do. When I brought that to their attention he told me they never said that. I sent them a screen shot, highlighted to prove not only was I told that in person, he wrote it on my invoice. Thirdly, I mistakenly thought an estimate was a bill, my fault but he told me he never did that 800.00 troubleshooting. I asked him why, he skips around, changes the subject and won't answer you. As a *female, senior citizen,* I would highly recommend you go somewhere else! Prior to going there I did my research, called them, they said they dealt with warranties and plus they had really good reviews. This is a fair warning! Btw, I took my car to another auto shop, they diagnosed the a/c issue in minutes. My warranty would have covered the condenser, compressor thingy but it had expired when a&a any car couldn't trouble shoot it correctly let alone fix it after 2 visits. To cover their tracts their try to bully you, accuse you of lying and lie to you even when you show them proof. Btw, he asked me why I didn't bring it back the 3rd time. Why would I do that if they were nothing else they could do! He insisted the a/c worked great but if that were true, I wouldn't have an estimate for approximately 3700.00 and the issue is exactly the same prior to the first two visits. read more

Whoever the guy there was scoffed and made a comment to someone else when I pulled up in an electric vehicle. As I walked past him he did NOT acknowledge me and let me walk into an empty office which he was 5 feet from. When I exited after seeing the office empty he then asked if he could help me with something. When I told him I needed work on an older GAS vehicle he then became ready to help. After seeing reviews and the way he treated me, because I'm guessing the electric vehicle he couldn't make money off of, I will not be bringing my car to him. Especially if he overcharges, because if he sees the car I was going to bring his pupils may turn into dollar signs. I did have work done there and cannot base my rating on quality or cost. Please be warned of any services done by this shop. I was told dye was injected to vehicle to find AC leak. To which I was charged as such and was the quoted a $900 price tag to fix. Due to not having the funds a declined to continue repair on hose/ valves. Upon taking vehicle to another shop for second opinion. They were unable to find evidence of dye. The Other reliable Shop was then able to fix my vehicle for $267. I feel as female going into this shop I should warn you. read more

I took my car into A&A Any Car after having them recommended to me. I am extremely pleased with how fast the service was. They replaced my CV Axles, Motor mounts, and sway bar. I dropped my car off at about 12 noon yesterday and my car was already ready to be picked up by 2pm today. They explained everything to me. They did all of it for a very reasonable price. I took my Kia to the dealer in Victorville because the engine light was on. The dealer immediately diagnosed the problem as an Intake Manifold issue and said it would cost me $1,200 dollars to replace the whole thing. I wanted a 2nd opinion so I took it to A&A Any Car and they fixed a part of the intake manifold -the VCM and did not replace the whole thing for $358. If you see a strange review that doesn't offer any explanation ignore it. They did not help me at all and they were wrong. Brian is the friendliest mechanic I have ever met, and does not take advantage of the fact that there are things about my car I do not know. He has taken good care of Lola, my aging, daily driven (and raced) muscle car on multiple occasions now, and she has been fixed the first time every time. Christi always makes me feel like a welcomed houseguest, not a customer. I don't ever feel like there are any stupid questions, or as if I am not a priority. I found a car that I was interested in purchasing the problem was that it was located in Apple Valley and I'm located in Los Angeles. I turned to Yelp to find a mechanic to inspect the car and came across A&A Any Car. Based on their great reviews emailed them for an quote; Brian contacted me and quoted a very reasonable price, he set up a time with the seller to go over, went out and inspected the car. What I expected would be a quick 20 min kick of the tires and some peeking under the hood was more of a three hour in-depth inspection of the car. Brian took great care to look everything over, make notes and even took a lot of pictures that he text to me so that I could see issue that might be of concern. This shop is without a doubt the best mechanic shop. I was traveling through the state a broke down. They were able to fix my truck in a timely manner. Their staff was very helpful. I had to stay the weekend waiting on a part. Their staff was able to drive us to our hotel since we did not fit in the UBER. They are really honest to work with. They were very clear on what they were doing to the truck and made sure that I understood. When I picked up the truck and they were showing me the fine work they did, the owner pointed out a part that looked to be getting old and should be replaced since there was a crack in it. I thanked him for the advice and was on my way. Once I was on my way home after spending the weekend the owner called me to say that he was talking to one of his guys and he mentioned that when they were tightening the part back down they are the ones that cracked the part. He offered to have me come back and fix it. I was super appreciative of their honesty. Who does that? I think most places would have just let me go since I was already gone. If they ever open a shop in Utah, they would get all my business. read more

I bought a car from carmax and soon after my car needed a catalytic converter replaced. Carmax sent me to A&A Any Car. it seemed great at first, guy was smart and knew his stuff. Unfortunately, it turned out that they were lazy and it costed me $1,600.00. They replaced my Catalytic converter and off I went. 1.5 years later I get a code that pops up again and it's calling for a catalytic again. I take it to Big Apple Automotive and they say it's Bank 1 Catalytic converter. (my car has 2 catalytic converters). I told them I recently got a cat replaced and they instructed me to call A & A Any Car and ask them which cat they replaced. I did that and they told me it was bank 2 they replaced. At this point I was pissed because if it was the cat they replaced then I would still have it under warranty. But it wasn't, or so I thought. Then another few months go by because I can't afford to replace a whole other cat. When I have enough money I go take it to another mechanic and after hours of taking my pipes down and investigating which cat needed to be replaced he found that the cat that needed to be replaced was in fact bank 1. BUT he said this was a newer cat not the original cat. So I called A & A Any car again and asked them please look up which cat you installed, I need a part number. When I got a copy of the order I found that it was the Cat bank 1 they originally replaced not the bank 2. Had they have told me the right one when I first called them it would be under warranty. BUT THATS NOT ALL. The mechanic working on my car now also told me that they did a horrible job putting the cat on. My cat needs 8 bolts and only 6 were used. He said it is super difficult to reach that area so he knows why they were lazy and didn't do it. Second, he said the torque was not correct and he was able to take off the bolts super easily. He told me that this alone could cause a leak and not give a good seal which could then make the cat go out quicker or cause an issue with the indicator lights. He explained to me that this was a poor job done by A & A Any car. So my advice to everyone here is that if you need a good job done DON'T go here. Better find a reputable shop. read more

If you want quality work done to your car as well as trustworthy mechanics... then you need to come here! Our Dodge Charger wasn't starting and the only way to get it to the shop was to have it towed... well A & A actually came out to our house in Oak Hills and had it up and going within an hour. Called Brian and he quoted me a price and recommended a couple adjustments to which i agreed due to the reasonable price.They were quick as well! The one thing that was pretty spectacular to me is the respect for the elderly Brian and his employee has. A lady came in and he had worked on her car ad he checked for her that the service should be under warranty by her dealer! He would have charged her $1800 for doing it but he went above and beyond to call the dealer. She would have totally paid him too! They are my heroes! !
