All Natural Angus Beef Hamburger, Curly Fries with a side of cheese
    Nicole K.

I love coming here the food is always good, I order the angus cheese burger which was delicious and the two people I went with mainly come here for their roast beef which they say is absolutely delicious, I've never tried it myself so next time. The ice cream is pretty good to I love their ice cream sandwiches!! The staff is nice and they get the food out quick so it's not a long wait!

A must have every time I come to town. The beef on weck is amazing. They have Logan every juice on tap (which is rare in most other parts of the country). The Italian ice is delicious. And of course the frozen custard is necessary.

Wow! I came here on recommendation of someone I knew from Buffalo, while I was traveling through the area. From now on, this will be my first stop when in the Buffalo area! I cant believe how good this fast casual restaurant is! I came for the pistachio custard. I am a huge pistachio fan and it is hard to find where I live in the midwest. This pistachio custard was the best pistachio "ice cream" ive ever had. It is a rotating flavor so check their website for dates and locations of rotating flavors (they have a calendar). I was impressed by the huge menu and decided to order another specific to Buffalo food, the Beef on Weck. What this is, is tender roast beef, ideally with horseradish, on a kummelweck roll (wow I love this roll btw). What a great sandwich! I capped off my meal with some cajun curly fries which were just the right crispy and seasoned combo. The staff here was so friendly and helpful to a newbie, and even some friendly patrons in line with me heard it was my first time and started gushing about the place and giving recommendations! There is a ton of seating inside, along with a small patio outside. It is clean and has ample parking. There is a freezer case with many take home ice cream cakes. Dont forget to check out their monthly specials board!

Amazing homemade custard! They have a rotating flavor that changes every few days. Each location is a bit different so check their "custard calendars" on their site. This is the first time I tried their chocolate orange mariner and I'm hooked. It brought me back to Easters when I would get those Terry's chocolate oranges in my basket. So good!

I'm from Syracuse, and don't go to Buffalo often. When I'm out of town and stop for a meal, I try to keep it relevant. From everything we'd heard and read, this place screams relevant. This was our first Beef on Weck experience. As a regional dish, its image is synonymous with a sense local pride. Our blind take after cutting through the noise was simply that quality roast beef sandwiches are always delicious, and this is yet another way to enjoy them. We were expecting it to resemble a pretzel roll, but it ate more like an everything bagel. I knew enough to douse it with enough horseradish to power wash my sinuses with every bite. I regret not adding mustard or banana peppers to compliment it with something acidic. If nothing else, I'd come back for the sweet potato fries. I've never seen anything like the marshmallow drizzle they use, and it worked beautifully. We ate them on our drive back to Syracuse, and they held up great even an hour into the trip, as most fries are so well known not to do. After looking up the place, we were sad to have missed the pistachio flavor soft serve. They have a calendar on their website which maps out the special flavors across all their locations. We were in town for Strawberry, which didn't disappoint. The dipped waffle cone had that artificial sweet chocolate taste a lot of pre-bought cones come with. I would definitely go for a Sundae if I went here again. I didn't know they made their own hard ice cream until I read the reviews after. Lastly for what it's worth, their soft drinks are off-brand, but we were weirdly fond of the Cola we ordered. All in all, this was a great lunch, but a light one at about $35.00. At $7.50 a piece, it's a stretch to justify a sandwich even this good unless I'm straight up jonesing for quality before another meal soon to follow.

For lunch/dinner there's so much to choose from like burgers, Veggie burgers, beef on weck , turkey sandwiches, Mac & cheese & fries. Now on to dessert they have frozen custard that is so creamy and delicious served in a dish or on a cone flavors like vanilla, chocolate, a twist, Strawberry, banana, pumpkin, butter rum and pistachio. They also have homemade ice cream including Chocolate Peanut Butter, Watson's Sponge Candy, White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and Coffee bean, that are very popular. All this deliciousness keeps me coming back again and again.

One tip if you're going for the band playing in the front room: don't sit on the enclosed patio. Even with the door open you really can't hear the music from there. I stayed and finished dinner of course because the Reuben was absolutely delicious. One funny moment was being served a beer in a Solo cup. At first it caught me off guard, but honestly with how slammed they were I totally understood -- I wouldn't want to be doing all those extra dishes either. After dinner I moved inside to try to actually hear the band. I ended up seated near the bathrooms, and unfortunately there was a pretty unpleasant smell in that area. Not sure if it was coming from the bathrooms because of how close the table was, but it definitely wasn't the best spot to sit. The hostess who sat me asked if I wanted a drink and I said yes, but about 20 minutes later someone else came over to ask me what I wanted again. I completely get that they were busy, so I'm not upset about it -- but the drink unfortunately never made it to the table. Overall, the food was great and the place clearly draws a crowd for live music, but seating location really matters if you're there for the band

Unfortunately our very sweet waitress said (at 7:30 pm) that they were out of the grouper and breaded fish fry (my choice, lol). So our start was a little shaky! I forgot to mention that I loved the new opportunity to make a reservation (we called at 5:30 pm & got a 7:30 reservation for 4). Anyway, no worries, my wife ordered the cajun broiled fish fry & I the beer battered fish fry. Outstanding! The batter was perfect, not too much and the fish was flakey and delicious! I was never much of a beer battered guy, always preferred the breaded fish--I can't wait to get the beer battered again. It was that good! My wife loved her dinner as well and so did our guests. My suggestion, maybe order a little more grouper, but honestly, I can't wait to go back and repeat exactly what I had! Great job by our waitress as well.
