    Vegan dilly bars
    Dana L.

I came here to try the new vegan dilly bars. Due to currently situations only the drove thru is open. Sometimes in the evening the line will get pretty long and go as far as three streets past DQ but they seem to move fast. So back to the dilly bars. They have them on their menu board which is nice, I did check the individual price for one but I did pay $9.99 for the box. As far as I can remember, this is just like a classic dilly bar. However it's not the best, but also not the worst, coconut ice cream I've had. I do think the ice cream itself could use some more vanilla flavor or something but I would still eat this. It's nice to have a vegan option when out!

This place is great. I've been inside a couple times and through the drive thru a couple times. Because of the pandemic, currently only the drive thru is open. I usually get a mint Oreo Blizzard but today I ordered a medium frosted animal cracker blizzard. (They have different Blizzard options for the summertime.) It was pink with animal cracker pieces in it. I liked it. I also ordered a box of butterscotch Dilly Bars. The box was $9.99 and had six ice cream bars in it. I think one individual Dilly Bar was $2.69. The cashier was pleasant, efficient, nice, and had a huge smile on her face when she was cashing me out. I loved her nails and her friendliness. They have ice cream cakes here and usually some food options too but today I was only interested in ice cream. I love this location and I'll return soon for another sweet treat!!!

They slimmed the blizzard menu down so bad. Completely disappointing. Def writing in about it.

We ordered the Cheesecake burger and the Horseshoe popper burger, both of which were absolutely fantastic. Got to have a conversation with the owner who, perhaps even more important than the service or the quality of the meal, has a serious passion for what he does. The reason this restaurant succeeds so positive is because the owner has put his blood sweat and tears into making an establishment with a great ambiance, and even better food. Overall this location is an amazing spot to get your lunch and I couldn't recommend it more.

Had a burger no cheese, just tomato with ketchup and fries. The burger was gone in 5 minutes with no exaggeration and he thoroughly enjoyed the seasoned fries. Spent $9 which isn't bad for a kids meal these days. Right in line with any fast food option and this is fresh and cooked to order. Service was very attentive and kind. She took the order straight from my 4 year old guest and spoke his language. Plenty of seating and enticing options of the most creative of stuffed burgers on the wall. Recommend for kiddos at all ages...even the picky ones that feel cheese is "disgusting."

I've been getting emails with specials from Jessie's, so I decided to stop in one day I didn't bring lunch. There was not much ready-to-eat food, so I grabbed a chicken salad with crasins from the cooler, which was pretty good on the go. Today I placed a mobile order for chicken cordon blue sandwich with fries, got a text when it was ready for pick up, about 20 minutes later. They use an app called Takeout Taxi that's similar to DoorDash, very convenient when you only have 30 minutes for lunch, but you can't order the specials on the app. You can call ahead too. It's nice to have a place inside the building to get good food.

They all seem to love working there and it shows. The restaurant itself is very cute and they often sell items from local vendors. You can't go wrong with any of the food. It can be a little pricey, but you get decent portions and I've never had anything bad there. A couple of my personal favorites: anything from the coffee area, their to go chicken salad box, tuna melt, amazing chicken fingers, and don't you dare leave without a s'mores cookie. Easily one of the best cookies I've ever had.

I'm a Moe's fan, and do still prefer Moe's tofu burritos to Chipotle's sofritas filling. But during pandemic times we caught wind that Chipotle does $1 delivery when ordering on their app. The deal and convenience was too good to pass up trying for this burrito-loving fam', so we gave it a go. And since then, have ordered $1 Chipotle delivery about three or four more times. Ordering on the Chipotle app is very easy, with lots of customization options. Delivery has been accurate, and usually pretty fast. Drop-off is contact-free, with good communication when food arrives on the porch. As for the food itself, the burritos from this particular Chipotle are pretty massive. My hubbs is a Chipotle fan, and noticed markedly different portions between our Chipotle deliveries from the Walden location and his takeout at the Transit Chipotle the other day. Walden burritos are like yule-log sized; definitely large enough to slice in half, eat over two sittings, and still be full both times. The ingredients from this Chipotle have always been fresh enough, too. No issues with the quality, overall. Personal preference still has me preferring Moe's tofu cubes over the Chipotle shredded sofritas filling. But with $1 reliable delivery, and still a decent burrito, beggars can't be choosers. If you have a hankering for a chain burrito, and don't want to go further than your porch to get it, I'd recommend giving $1 delivery on the Chipotle app a shot, especially if you're in delivery distance of this Walden store. Good quality, epic portions, reliable delivery, enjoy!

Smoke alarm going off. Condiment and napkin dispensers covered in filth and nearly empty. I'm literally watching one employee take two minutes to put a sticker on a bag and another texting as she walks back behind the counter swinging her pony tail all around the food. What the actual heck is going on here and why did it literally take an hour to get a burrito bowl?

Even Yelp asked me: "Did you like Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen? Your thoughts help others decide."…read moreNot sure Popeyes needs any recommendations. When you Google the "best fried chicken sandwich", this place pops up frequently. Everyone has to decide for themself. To eat or not to eat at fast food chain restaurants, that is the question. I can answer only for myself. My second experience with Popeyes ended almost fully satisfied. Ordering the wrong sandwich, by mistake, left me wanting to come back again. I heard that spicy chicken is the way to go, but I'm not sure anymore, is it really? My Classic Chicken Sandwich was squished, wrinkled and not exactly picture perfect, but I enjoyed it anyway. The golden piece of chicken was crunchy, warm, moist with a pleasant enough flavor. I should have asked for extra pickles, though. To my surprise it was a bigger portion than I expected for $3.99. The fries were cold and floppy again. I love any type of potato. So I traded away some of my sandwich for my partner's Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy. Using the little spork made the whole experience even more quirky. It reminded me of airline food. I should mention something about this location which is truly badly designed. On a busy Sunday afternoon, it was a dangerous situation and very easy to be trapped in a drive thru line of cars or a blocked parking space. Traffic was stopped out to busy Union Road with only one way in and out. The drive thru lane was full, so people going into the restaurant would have to park or somehow turn around in a narrow space. With the prepaid app pickups, the few available parking spots were occupied plus larger vehicles were having big problems with backing out and leaving. It created unnecessary stress and chaos. So, if you see a line of cars sticking out into Union Rd, and you choose the pick up option, I'd rather park at Pets Adoption Center next door. My food was ready fast and on time. Everyone was busy preparing orders. I was in and out with no problems and with an extra smile from the person who took care of me. We escaped with a three-point turn, but it was an unpleasant and tricky situation.

On top of that they didn't seem to understand the menu very well. We had to go over the order with them multiple times and talk very slowly and enunciate every word in the end to get the order right. Then, we get up to the window and they ask if we can wait 15 minutes because they don't have any classic chicken ready. Like WTF? And I don't know if that was the same lady that took the order or not, but we couldn't understand her either and she didn't seem to understand us. I don't know why you would have someone doing a customer service job where you have to talk to people all day that doesn't speak or understand English very well.
