    Vegan dilly bars
    Dana L.

I came here to try the new vegan dilly bars. Due to currently situations only the drove thru is open. Sometimes in the evening the line will get pretty long and go as far as three streets past DQ but they seem to move fast. So back to the dilly bars. They have them on their menu board which is nice, I did check the individual price for one but I did pay $9.99 for the box. As far as I can remember, this is just like a classic dilly bar. However it's not the best, but also not the worst, coconut ice cream I've had. I do think the ice cream itself could use some more vanilla flavor or something but I would still eat this. It's nice to have a vegan option when out!

This place is great. I've been inside a couple times and through the drive thru a couple times. Because of the pandemic, currently only the drive thru is open. I usually get a mint Oreo Blizzard but today I ordered a medium frosted animal cracker blizzard. (They have different Blizzard options for the summertime.) It was pink with animal cracker pieces in it. I liked it. I also ordered a box of butterscotch Dilly Bars. The box was $9.99 and had six ice cream bars in it. I think one individual Dilly Bar was $2.69. The cashier was pleasant, efficient, nice, and had a huge smile on her face when she was cashing me out. I loved her nails and her friendliness. They have ice cream cakes here and usually some food options too but today I was only interested in ice cream. I love this location and I'll return soon for another sweet treat!!!

They slimmed the blizzard menu down so bad. Completely disappointing. Def writing in about it.

I had mine with whipped cream, hot fudge and chocolate ice cream. I got it to go and the people checking out next to me commented on how good it looked. Which is funny considering it was sitting in a styroform cup. It was the greatest thing I've ever eaten. The chocolate ice cream was rich and delicious. The bottom of the cup was coated in hot fudge then dumped over the top of the ice cream. And I could've eaten an entire bowl of that homemade whipped cream. It was very light and airy. A must stop when you get a serious ice cream hankering mid winter.

It's also fun to wander around eyeing all the candies and chocolates... excellent gift ideas. On this visit, my daughter and I split a large Arctic swirl with brownies pieces and swapped the vanilla custard for eggnog. Best decision I've made all season, no regrets! The only tiny downside: the signs. So. Many. Signs. Rules everywhere--no ice cream in the chocolate area, carry a basket so nothing melts or breaks, no glass outside, clean your trays, etc. I get it (I, too, am a bit of a control freak), but it does start to feel like ice cream comes with a user manual. That said, clearly they've been burned before... or maybe I just recognize my own people. Either way, worth it for the custard alone. And make sure you plan to go right home. This way, you can buy some of their hard ice cream to keep in your freezer.

The roast beef was fresh, full of flavor, the horseradish added the right amount of zest, the au jus was breaming with flavorful drippings, and the Cajun fries were so hot that they burned (that's how I love it ). A nice young lady took the time to assist me at the front counter, promptly. She was aware that it was my first time in the restaurant and guided me with a generous and gentle attitude. She told me what "most people" like and how most dress their roast beef sandwich. She made the ordering process easy and helped narrow my focus considering I was running on fumes and getting "hangry". The restaurant was clean, inside and out (even the restrooms were tidy). There were a variety of fountain drinks to choose from and the selections were unique compared to other competitors. Originally, was headed for the Taco Bell next door, but I'm sure glad my stomach and nose led me to Anderson's. Next time, I'm trying the custard and getting an extra roast beef to take home. A little pricy but I'll always be more frivolous when I'm getting quality food. Thank you, Anderson's!

If you like her, have never been here before, think retro diner meets modern layout. They serve the classics here. Burgers, chicken, salads, sandwiches, and even hot dogs. They also have an ice cream parlor with so many offerings that you can get dinner and dessert all at once. There is a nostalgic spot back in our hometown just like Anderson's and that's what it reminds us of when we were there. The service is great here. They make everything fresh and quickly. We got our food to go and it was still hot when we got home. The grilled chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy and the toppings were fresh so it gave a good crunch from the lettuce and tomato. The salad was so large and filling and you can never go wrong with their fries. We also got a small vanilla soft serve for our son and he loved it. It was a very good soft serve with a great flavor and thickness. Whenever you're looking for something for everyone in the family, Anderson's is the way to go. We will definitely be back!

The quality is incredible and the mix-ins are so generous, no skimping here. This round we tried the Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella and the Oreo Brownie Cake. Christian absolutely nailed the cozy, Christmasy vibes with the eggnog flavor. I already know I'll be craving this one every winter. And the Oreo Brownie Cake? Come on... the name alone is tempting, but it delivers. Think fudgy brownie swirls, big chunks of Oreos, and pure chocolatey goodness in every scoop. Basically heaven in a pint. Worth every single penny. And even better when you share it with someone who also has a sweet tooth.

I'll be honest, I've been putting off ordering a few pints because I didn't want to make the effort/time for picking it up. Thanks to a dear friend, a fellow Yelp Elite, I've FINALLY had the opportunity to try some pints, and holy smokes, Living the Cream is phenomenal! Note that in to order flavors, you'll want to follow "livingthecream_" on Instagram, "living_the_cream_" on Facebook, which showcases any new flavors being crafted and hosts the link to place your order. I tried two flavors: Oreo Brownie Smash and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella. Oreo Brownie Smash is Oreo cookie ice cream with brownie batter swirls, Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, and half-baked brownies and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella is spiced eggnog ice cream infused with Jim Beam and Platter's dark orange chocolate stracciatella. Just. WOW! Absolutely no complaints, each was bursting with flavor and packed with so many mix-ins. I loved finding huge Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough chunks and just how chocolatey Oreo Brownie Smash was thanks to all the brownie bits swirled in. The Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella had the creamy, comforting flavor of eggnog with a nice nip of Jim Beam that let you know it was there but never overpowering. The crunchy bits of the dark orange chocolate stracciatella cut through all the creaminess, only elevating the ice cream overall. Opening both pints, I was super impressed how jam-packed they were - It took a bit of effort to get the lids off, the pint was on the cusp of overflowing! So I didn't order these pints so I can't give you the most accurate pricing info, but after trying a couple flavors, I'm happy to order a few pints myself without thinking too much about the cost. I'm really glad Living the Cream is out here, churning up amazing ice cream flavors for Buffalo! As a few other Yelp reviews mention, make a little room in your freezer and treat yo'self to a couple pints of some of the creamiest, mix-in full ice cream you'll ever have!
