There were a lot of things about the process that were unclear and they had me going back and forth to the doctors office, back and forth with the references. Communication was not clear, the rehabilitation center they partnered with were rude. I did my best to be respectful and on top of everything but they apparently do not care as much about doing their jobs. I felt this both as a hiring manager and also when it came time to find a new opportunity myself, so more or less wrote off the entire industry as a hustle. Grady Levkov is *not* that type of firm at all and the fact that I'm compelled to write a review for a recruiting firm hopefully demonstrates what an outlier I feel they are in the industry. From my first conversation with Josh Levkov, which lasted over an hour (approximately 59 minutes longer than most conversations with recruiters), I knew that something different was going on. He took the time to actually digest my background, ask a lot of questions about my goals, and, most importantly, not try to sell me on a specific opportunity or agenda. Once I agreed to meet a very elite and targeted group of companies, I quickly learned that the executives there also had a positive bias towards Grady Levkov, presumably because of successful placements in the past (including themselves). Ultimately, I ended up with a perfect opportunity and am 100% convinced that it would not have have happened if I went with another recruiting firm or, worse, a random assortment of cold-calling recruiters. Throughout the process, whether my interviews went well or poorly, I was treated with a lot of respect and honesty. There was constant communication each step of the way from both Josh and his team, and even after my offer was signed, follow-up calls to ensure that everyone was happy with the fit. The experience was such a positive one that I will now *only* use Grady Levkov in the future when conducting my own candidate searches. To me, they are a "throwback" type of firm, embodying the idea that good people need good people to find good people. Hopefully this review will save others the time of looking elsewhere.

Initially, at the onset of the conversation, I specifically asked to speak with Gerry Sheridan. She's the person who I saw on my LinkedIn feed yesterday and I had already taken the initiative to send her an introductory email last night. In hindsight, seeing the wonderful reviews about Gerry, I wish that I had spoken with her instead of the insolent woman-child who answered my call. I informed the person of my very unique situation being new to DC and she immediately began interrupting me in mid-sentence. I guess she assumed that what I had said was more than enough for her to hear. Eventually, when I was able to get a word in edgewise, I told her that the interruptions were a COMPLETE turnoff. I also informed her that 40 hours is actually considered the maximum amount of full-time hours and anything over that was considered overtime. I don't understand how this individual in employed with a staffing agency and doesn't understand that, under the Affordable Care Act, 32 hours per week is considered full-time. Of course, she wouldn't let me continue the sentence to explain that much to her. And what was her excuse? "Well, I have another call coming in 20 seconds so I was trying to rush this conversation along..." WHO SAYS THAT TO A PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE?!?! If this is the first point of contact for anyone who calls your office, she is doing a major disservice to your company.
