Purchased a Groupon for 3 spider vein removal. Yesie was the one who zapped them for me and she was wonderful and very pleasant. She did more than what the Groupon offered. One thing I truly liked was that Yesie didn't try to sell or push me to buy other services they offer. She was honest and very straightforward. I have never met such wonderful people that truly care about their clients. They're amazing!! They offer services like teeth whitening, vein removal, laser hair removal, cool sculpting and skin rejuvenation. Prices are fair for sure when compared to other vendors. There's free parking in the back and just remember there's alley between the shops which leads to the parking space.

We both noticed that there wasn't that much of a difference with his teeth. He did 2 sessions and he already had gum damage. If you are planning to get your teeth whitened, he suggests you actually go to a teeth whitening spot that goes over $400. It was painful, a waste of time, and a waste of his money.

TLDR: poor quality of service from the doctor…read more I've gone to The Dermatology Center now 3-4 times over the past 2 years or so. My entire family has seen the doctor (or his staff) for various reasons. It has always felt hurried and impersonal, though that seems to be par for dermatologists from what I've read. That said, my latest encounter with the doctor has effectively been the last straw. He comes in without knowing the history of the patient (and reads his ipad in front of you), then quickly prescribes a medication with barely any explanation. I asked him a couple questions and wanted to know what the name of the active ingredient was and his reaction was - "are you in medicine or something"? I'm paraphrasing as I don't remember the exact wording but give me a break, I'm the patient, I can ask all the questions I want and deserve a thoughtful response with patience. At the end of the visit he didn't even bother to say goodbye and just walked out the door. I've experienced many dentists, OBGYNs, pediatricians, general physicians, and even other derms yet I've never had this kind of poor customer experience before. For all I know, the doctor may be quite competent as a derm but he lacks in the social skills required to provide a warm/engaging/thoughtful/patient experience. On another note, the medicine he prescribed me was supposed to be covered by my insurance and they sent the script to a CVS. I'm told later that CVS actually doesn't fill this particular medication and called the front desk back to which the front desk said "oh yea CVS doesn't fill this type of stuff". If your front desk staff knows this how does your other staff not know (or worse, not care) to send the script to the right kind of pharmacy? I also find out later that my insurance actually doesn't cover this medication so this entire visit to the doctor was a waste of my time. I'm not naive enough to think that medical practice in the US these days is meeting the bar in terms of customer service but at a minimum I'm voting with my wallet by choosing not to go here again and writing a review so others can make an incrementally more informed decision. Lastly, other reviews have said this place is accessible - it absolutely is not. It's on Bell road where there is severely limited street parking and no good side road parking either. You can't park in the shopping center across the street (or you can and risk getting towed). Every time I have to plan extra time just to find street parking and hope to get lucky. It's infuriating and another reason not to come here.

I met with Dr phoebe Tam, who was very caring and engaging. Theu did a skin check up for cancers, moles and any abnormalities. All went well but they did recommend either laser treatment for my sun spots or to use a chemical treatment. By the way neither treatments are covereded by my insurance. I am currently looking at the chemical treatment as it would be the least expensive. I was advise to look into using silicone scar sheets for my skin. Oversll it was a very thorough examination. Parking was very difficult, we had to oark like 3 bloxks away from the main street.

I'm writing this review about my individual lash application only. I understand that this salon…read morespecializes in post surgical treatments as well. My girlfriend has beautiful lashes. They're not caterpillar crazy and she never looks as though she'll take flight if she blinks to hard. I told her I would love to try out a lash application but have not been pumped to do so because of past experiences. The first time I had lashes was for my wedding in 2010. The aesthetician that did it was also my MUA and she was great. I just was not ready for lashes at that time. I was able to wear them the entire night but before going to bed I found myself pulling them off with fingertips covered in baby oil. The second time I had them done was at one of my regular eyebrow threading salons but I did not feel too comfortable getting them redone after hearing a customer complain about getting an infection. They weren't the cleanest of places and these are my eyes so it has got to be done correctly. My girlfriend has had a long relationship with her esti, having been devestated when she moved out of NY. She recently returned to continue seeing her local clients which was perfect for me. She made an appointment for me with Tiffany, of @tiffanysbeautyroom, and she occasionally works out of the Silhouette Beauty Lounge. My appointment was for 1130A this past Saturday. I was running a few minutes late and called to inform them. The front desk person was very nice and said that she would let Tiffany know. The salon is located right around the corner from Tosca (p.s. They may be opening back up, ya'll!). Pro tip: don't park in the main Ave. You're best bet is to park a block down at the residential area so you don't have to pay for the meter. When I entered the medspa, I was immediately greeted by their front desk person. She was very nice and she asked me to remove my shoes and put on some slippers they keep up front. No outside shoes are worn in the back which I appreciate. All of the rooms have curtains and there is a nice level of privacy. I felt very comfortable upon entering the room in which I would be serviced. Tiffany was there, waiting for me. Everything looked very clean. I told her that I was a novice at lashes and wanted something very natural looking. I specified that I would like my lashes to look as though I applied 2-3 coats of mascara, natural but noticeable. She suggested the "classic" look and I agreed. She explained the entire process and I will admit that I'm the beginning, I was extremely nervous. My eyelid was twitching because I was a little anxious but soon after I was able to relax and the process went smoothly. She said that it is normal, especially for someone who's a first-timer. When she moved onto the second eye, it was way easier because I had an idea of what would happen so I was able to relax much quicker. It took about 1:45 to finish the entire process. It didn't feel that long and did not mind it as you can tell from the final result that she was very precise with the application, making sure she maintained symmetry. Afterwards, she gave me a card with lash instructions and answered all the questions I had about upkeep and daily maintenance to extend the life of the lashes. She also said that refills can be anywhere form 2-3 weeks, depending upon maintenance, and that a refill is significantly less time for installation. I love how they look and feel. I can't even tell anything is on my eyelids. They look like exactly what I asked for, natural but noticeable. After three days, I have not had any issues with them. I am able to wear makeup and perform my skincare regimen also. There are certain products types I have to stay away from but that it not am issue and Tiffany told me exactly which to not use and provided suggestions of products I would want to use instead. I was told not to wear makeup. I did not wear any on my eyes but I did have my skincare products on and some light foundation. It was not a problem but I would suggest just wearing your skincare products, as you can not get the lashes wet in the first 24 hours post installation. It's just easier to not have to worry about removing makeup I'm any capacity. I'm thinking I might get hooked because I'm already wanting to ask for some darker lashes and maybe get the "hybrid" set next time which would incorporate some fan lashes as well for a fuller look. We'll see because I'm certainly feeling myself...
