    Pastrami chili cheese fries

Food was garbage. Chili is like powder burgers were trash as well. Super small portion as well

Andre's is a place that I had forgotten about. Back in the day, I would come here on a regular basis. About a month ago, I dropped by to see if they still made some good grub. The facade appears to be about the same as it did 30 years ago when I used to patronize their establishment. Order at the window, and grab a spot at one of their outdoor tables. You can also order at their drive-thru as well. For my first time back in years, I ordered their Western Bacon Cheeseburger combo with small fries and small drink. For dessert, I chose their Fried Apple Pie and Fried Peach Pie. Honestly, the burger was not impressive looking. Thin hamburger patty with three small onion rings and bacon. With each bite, though, this burger tasted better and better to me. By the time I finished, I was quite happy with my burger. Bacon was crisp and fresh. Fries were tasty. The pies were pretty darn good too. I look forward to making return trips to Andre's. Will have to try their French Burger to see if it tastes as good as I faintly recall.

I've always passed this place while working. Always found it intriguing because of its classic exterior. When pulling up into the drive through it's just as what you'd expect from an old drive-in. Looked at photos previously and what caught my attention was the pastrami sandwich. Why? Because it looks huge and I'm pastrami guy! The sandwich at first appearance is exactly what is portrayed; however, the downfall of it was the bread. It was kind of too doughy for me. Don't know how much more to describe it. Just threw me off. I also got the peach pie. I would warn people before eating it as it'll get all over the place at first bite so be careful lol. Other than that it was pretty decent. The glaze made it kind of too sweet for my liking and it would get sticky.

Burger was tasteless, portions were incredibly small especially for $16. Customer service was good but my over all experience is very poor. I definitely won't be coming back here again.

This time around, I decided to try out the fish sandwich and my daughter wanted the club sandwich. She absolutely loved her sandwich which is great because as I mentioned...super picky kid. Me on the other hand, not impressed at all with the fish sandwich. First impression was it did look super fresh. The lettuce looked crisp and fresh and the fish was poking out of the sandwich which means good portions. But the fish was a bit dark, suggesting either old or dirty grease or cooked too long? Either way it was bland. I ended up having to douse it with a mixture of tarter, malt vinegar, ketchup and Tabasco sauce. I feel as though since this is a fish restaurant that is from the coast, the fish should be their best dish. But this is twice now that it has failed to impress me.

Tell me why I was immediately in love. The moment I opened it, I was greeted with a thick, generously stacked turkey sandwich that looked like it meant business. We're talking layers on layers of tender, juicy turkey, piled high with that crisp, freshly shredded lettuce that gives the perfect crunch in every bite. Even writing about it makes my mouth water all over again! The bread? Soft, fresh, and just the right amount of pillowy to hold it all together without falling apart. As if the sandwich wasn't already the star of the show, the box came fully loaded with a chocolate chip cookie,, a bag of chips for that salty crunch moment, and a little sampler of macaroni salad that was slathered in Italian dressing. So tasty! Honestly? Mouthwatering from start to finish. Whoever put these boxes together understood the assignment! (Haha) This is definitely a must try when hungry!

Since finding out about this location, we have visited this place a few times now. I really love the old school feel to this sandwich spot. You can either dine in or order your sandwich to go. Caesar's is hit and miss for me. Once in a great while it's one of the best sandwiches I've had and sometimes it's just okay. One thing I do know for sure is that I keep coming back because they have "that" clam chowder. My only complaint is that they are pricey and you can get a superior sandwich from other places. Parking is a little bit crazy during lunch time. Staff is always super nice here and the lines go pretty quick. I don't know if they have more than the 2 locations I know of.
