Went early filled out paperwork way before appointment time, waited 30 minutes still couldn't see Dr. There were 2 people ahead of me. Small waiting room. Had to wait in the hallway. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Andrew Florea himself he is truly an amazing doctor, and I've never had a negative experience with him directly. He's attentive, compassionate, and clearly cares about his patients. However, the same cannot be said for the office staff. My experience with them has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. At my first appointment in October, I was scheduled for 11:15 a.m. but wasn't seen until 3:30 p.m. The delay wasn't due to a busy schedule unfortunately, I was forgotten about in a side room for hours. While Dr. Florea kindly gave me a gas card as a gesture (since I live over an hour away), that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Since then, the issues have continued. I was told I needed a Letter of Approval (LOA), and while I understand these processes take time, I've had to follow up four separate times. Each time, I've been met with rude, dismissive behavior simply for asking for a basic update or a paper trail to confirm anything has being done. I've remained patient and respectful, but this is unacceptable. Now, six months later, my symptoms are worsening to the point of being unbearable, and nothing has been submitted to my insurance. When I contacted my provider directly, they told me that no forms, referrals, or paperwork had been received at all. I don't know if this is incompetence or discrimination, but it feels like my concerns are not being taken seriously, and I'm left to suffer the consequences. To make matters worse, I've witnessed the disorganization firsthand patients sitting on the floor in an overcrowded waiting room, staff taking lunch while patients wait, and a general lack of urgency. Being forgotten and handed a gas card to "make up for it" feels like a slap in the face. I hope this message is taken seriously. The care I've received from Dr. Florea himself is outstanding, but the system around him is broken and doing real harm to patients. I hope to relieve care eventually and I hope this facility re-evaulates who is working and talking to the patients since there is no saved face here especially with only a gas card and nothing done for over 6 months. read more

I came to Dr. Florea for cosmetic proceedures. A facelift, he did not do any markings on my face.d When one lies down one already looks "lifted". Very few cuts, stitches in small areas. Upon sitting up, any lift is unnoticable . The chin lift was a bit noticible, but not as much as he had shown me in the mirror. I was to have a lazer face done also, getting rid of brown spots and to create a creamy complection. Again, no results. He did it over a few months later due to my complains. AGain, face was back to normal 4 days after proceedudre. He says to wait, to give it time. Well if your skin doesnt peel, nothing happens. A year later, no results. A failed facelift and skin care. Says he will do it again at a reduced price. I said NO, nothing happened for the first 11k. His personality is great, but flattering his results when there were no results at all is bad. The before and after photos are a sham. You can see the use of a filter to make say your dark spots really stand out, then the filter not on with after. Not one person saw a thing including my husband. So I just donated 11k to the Florea fund with no results at all. Find another Dr. As I did follow up and went to other surgeons for estimate. They all told me what they would do etc. When i told them i just had a facelift, they were shocked and all disagreed with me. Asking, what was lifted. I pulled out the before and after photos and they too brought up the filter. He had shown me in the mirrow what would be lifted, but no, I did not look like that. I aske dhim why he did not make markings. He said he did after I was out. WTH? There was no signs and it did not turn out what he had shown me. Stay away. He is a crook. Wanted my money back so i could go elsewhere. Didnt happen. So here i am, with more a half a years worth of social security money down the drain, not getting what i paid for. Took my daughter to see Dr. Florea on 3/10/2020 , she has a deviated septum in her nose they did a camera scope exam we saw how one side was completely closed and Dr. Florea explained to us what's required to finally fix her breathing issues . I feel we finally came to the right doctor he is so kind and helpful and I can tell he enjoys his job and helping people get better , seriously tho all the staff was amazing and there is a old saying leadership starts at the top and it's prevalent that everyone in that office is happy to working with each other starting with Dr Andrew Florea . My first time in the office. I decided that I needed to see a specialist and found Mr. Flores on Yelp! I made an appointment and I was in and out in an hour. 1st: the staff is welcoming and I immediately felt comfortable. The office is not stuffy nor is it an environment where you feel your around "sick people". The vibe of the business is very relaxing, almost spa like. I was guided to the wait room where I waited for about 15-20 min. When the doctor came in he was so warm and engaging. I felt like he cared and truly has a passion for his profession! (I went in for my sinuses). The doctor numbed the inside of my nose and took some camera shots. He reviewed all the images with me and explained what we were looking at. I feel he did not take the time to answer all my questions. Went in for ringing in my ear, ear pain and stiff/sore throat. He referred me to Clear Balance Hearing to get my hearing checked which they tried selling me hearing aids!! I'm 39 and not having any trouble hearing and my hearing is not going out. He is sending me to a GI doctor to get my sore throat checked. He did a cat scan on my sinus and suggested surgery. Still have same symptoms with no relief. Just saw my primary and she has suggested seeing a different ENT doctor that can actually do a hearing test in the office and start with Prilosec first before wasting time at a GI doctor. I've been living with a deviated septum since I was a child, with all the bothersome congestive symptoms that come with it. I had put off getting it looked at, let alone corrected because the surgery and recovery looked so painful and uncomfortable. However that all changed once I met Dr. Florea. It's not always the case you find a doctor, let alone a surgeon, that is extremely knowledgeable and competent in his craft but also exhibits exceptional bedside manner. Any question or concern I had about my condition was answered in detail, without rushing, and always with a kind demeanour. I had cosmetic surgery a little over a year ago. I paid over $8,000. They results are horrible. I went in to get my chin and jaw line done. The areas look worse than before. Dr. Florea and his staff are very kind and helpful. I've had to call in a few times and the ladies on the phone are always very pleasant and informative. One of his nurses I absolutely adore was so considerate and thoughtful. She even brought me snacks and beverage when I told her I was pregnant, we talked about being newly pregnant and I still find her advice helpful. I went in for a follow up appointment to discuss my sleep study results and do a Nasoscopy. Before the nasoscopy procedure where they insert a small camera into your sinuses the doctor administers a spray of lidocaine into your sinuses. Here's where my big concern is! Doctor moves a little quickly which is expected but he's still thorough. Except when asking about your current condition. It all went so fast and I was answering questions and before I could even get the sentence out that I was newly pregnant my sinuses were sprayed. He assured me that it was not "too harmful." As a female patient who's had a lot of medical care I've always been asked first about pregnancy. I believe this should be a standard practice for women of childbearing age. I left feeling uneasy and concerned. Dr. Florea is a caring doctor that does listen and answer questions. He also gives nice feedback. Just a caution to others that we have to be more proactive as patients. I expected a bit more information on my sleep study results since I was now going to use a CPAP machine. He had not reviewed my results and just looked over them quickly when I asked. Thankful that the sleep center has been able to answer my questions a lot more in depth. I honestly couldn't be happier, after a surgery, and I never thought this was possible. I have been to probably a dozen ENTs, all over Southern California, for years of issues. There wasn't a single coherent explanation of my CT to match up with the chronic infections. It felt pretty cavalier, and I wasn't eager to rush into surgery for a septoplasty without being positive it would fix the issue. I really didn't want that invasive of a surgery without better statistics or assurances it would actually help. Dr. Florea was instantly different, listening and not telling me what I was experiencing. Pushed for another CT when the first wasn't clearly showing a diagnosis that matched with my medical history. That listening? It paid off. The second CT (in office, way easier) revealed a small structural issue that was a huge contributing factor to my constant sickness. I didn't need a septoplasty, and he was the first doctor not to push it on me and dismiss my other symptoms. He caught what several other qualified professionals had missed, and I genuinely think that's because he took the time to listen and look again. He didn't rely on a PA to evaluate me as so many doctors do, or push me off for lack of time and concern. He inspired confidence immediately, yet still comes across as compassionate. I really felt comfortable with him and that's admittedly tough with me - I ask a lot of questions and have some skepticism, having been raised by someone in the field of medicine. Dr. Florea doesn't ooze arrogance like so many surgeons, and I watch him teach and coach his staff and treat them and his patient as equals. It creates an atmosphere I really enjoyed - it feels genuinely different in his office. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and my entire experience. It was outpatient, which is easy and doesn't carry the risks of traditional anesthesia. I really didn't want to go under, and he was able to do like six individual procedures and I really don't remember a thing. I might have actually had dancing feet at one point while he operated. This was just. I mean, I needed this, it wasn't something I'd sign up for if I didn't. However, it was overall a pretty easy experience and it's made a tremendous difference in my life. I have been to multiple doctors and ENTs throughout the years to figure out why I have so many issues with my sinuses. I'll just say that Dr. Florea is amazing and really makes you feel like you matter! He was able to catch issues that I have that have gone undiagnosed for years now, and he caught them quickly. Him and his staff are very thorough, and they really make you feel comfortable. I had a surgery performed by him, and everyone made sure that I wasn't in any pain during the procedure. This doctor has the worst help ever. The first time I called put me on a waiting list two months past had to call and she totally forgot about me. The doctor wants to send me for hearing test mean while I got two more ear infection and could not get me in so I ended up in the emergency. Then I called to make a follow up and that took two months to get in, to tell me when I get there for my apt that I don't have one SMH. And my ear is still infected. He's the best! Very experienced, kind, and caring. I had my head cut in two spots and I was told very important to keep them clean. I looked and looked and I could never find them?!? I had an appointment at 12:30, walked in around 1215 with all my paperwork filled out. I was placed in a room around 1225 and soon enough it was 1:05 and nobody came in. I walked out and not one apology. It's different when the office is empty but NOBODY was there. They were ordering lunch when I got there. They should respect people's time as some of us have to leave work early. Close for lunch or don't make appts during your lunch hour. Dr Florea & his team are amazing! The environment here has super positive vibes & makes you feel super comfortable. I had a scar excision revision & from the consultation to the time they took my sutures out my experience remained good. I had two piercing holes that I hated & Dr Florea performed a very small procedure to get rid of the scar tissue. I just got my sutures taken out today & so far it looks like it's already healing well. Doctor is very compassionate & extremely kind. I don't think I've ever met a doctor so kind. The girls who work there are also very helpful & sweet. I'm thankful that I found this place. If I ever needed anything again I wouldn't hesitate to go back & would recommend this office to someone in a heart beat. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Florea for about a year now and I've never had one bad visit. He's personable, professional, considerate, and very attentive to your needs. I have undergone two surgeries with him that included a tumor extraction of my neck and fixing my deviated septum. The first one was a bit nerve wrecking but he never failed to make me feel comfortable and safe in his hands. By the time I had my second surgery I already knew the routine and had more than enough faith that I would be taken care of. had cosmetic surgery several years ago done by Dr. Florea; he damaged my vision by improperly sewing my lower eyelids too far open; and have uneven tearing distorting my eyesight. It will take 7,500.00 worth of new surgery with no guarantees to attempt to correct problem. After (4) years the facial surgery sites still have a tightness and tingling and the area under my chin is still sensitive. My area above my eyes, which was supposed to have stitches concealed in fold lines, has fully exposed scars. Had I realized that I would only be trading some small imperfections for another larger set of problems, I would have either chosen another surgeon or forgone surgery altogether. read more

I've made 2 appointments with Dr. Florea for my son who has been having severe breathing problems. On both occasions Dr. Florea cancelled my sons appointment the day before saying "He had to schedule a surgery with someone else and could not see my son." I explained my sons condition to his poor front office girl Brenda who unfortunately had to be Dr. Florea's messenger. I told Brenda that this was the second time Dr. Florea had cancelled my sons appointment and the reason my son needed to be seen was because he's having trouble breathing. I explained that the reason I made an appointment with him was because my insurance provider directory lists Dr. Florea as a "ear, nose and throat" specialist. I didn't find out until after my first experience with Dr. Florea that he was a plastic surgeon. Putting your "regular insurance paying patients" on hold when they have trouble breathing over your "cash cosmetic procedure"patients is EXTREMELY unprofessional. It's unethical for a doctor, who is listed as an ear, nose and throat specialist to completely disregard the medical issues of someone's child for the higher paying cosmetic procedure client. read more
