From beginning to end, Dr. Lee demonstrates confidence, professionalism and expertise beyond his years. I am very pleased with not only the outcome of my parotidectomy but the entire process along the way. I hope I never have to have another surgery but if I do I will turn to Dr. Lee first!

Due to insurance…read moreissue, he had to be transferred to his local doctors for intense radiation therapy and chemotherapy after their tumor board decided on his treatment plan. His health deteriorated but he was able to pull through it all and recovered. A year into his recovery, he tragically started smoking again. His throat cancer then returned and the tumor was growing much more rapidly this time around. His previous doctor referred us to an ENT physician at Riverside Community Hospital. My father and I met with this resident surgeon who conducted himself in the utmost incompetent and uncertain way and advised us that he and and other three resident surgeons would do laryngectomy on my father. My father couldn't even be convinced that the surgery would make him recover again. During this time, my father's shortness of breath worsened everyday to the point he felt suffocated. He was on so many medications and had to carry oxygen tanks with him all the time. It was emotionally painful and unbearable to be around and see him suffer. His conditions worsened and he started to be in and out of emergency room. Eventually ER doctor had to perform tracheostomy and my father stayed in ICU for a week. He was then sent to a rehab center for recovery. Upon his discharge, we managed to find a new ENT doctor, Dr. Carvalho in Hemet. Dr. Carvalho finally referred us to Dr. Steve Lee at Loma Linda University Medical Center for laryngectomy. I wrote all the above because I want people to know that my family has seen a lot of doctors ranging from top notch City of Hope dctors to resident surgeons in community hospital. If you manage to find Dr. Lee at the very beginning in your journey, you should know how truly blessed you are, and you should look no further. It took us a long and painful journey to get to him. In January of 2017, Dr. Lee and his team performed laryngectomy and throat reconstruction for my father. The surgery was a success and my father has since then been cancer free and he is able to speak with his voice prothesis. Everyone in the family including myself thought we were about to lose my dad sometime before his laryngectomy, but he has recovered and started a new life. All of this is because of the beyond exceptional care he has received from Dr. Lee and his team. Dr. Lee is warm and genuinely caring. He's calm, reassuring and pleasant to be around. His humble and down-to-earth character almost makes you feel like he is just a neighbor next door and not a God-like surgeon. After many years being under Dr. Lee's care, it made us realize Dr. Lee is truly one of a kind. He is a top rated surgeon who is driven by his calling and passion as a doctor and he is wholly committed on academic research and striving to provide the best patient care with his team.

I had a boney mass removed from my sinuses that was identified to have mold. Tests showed it was systemic. He refuses lab testing to identify species for treatment AND cancelled my postop. What surgeon does that! His behavior is negligent, cowardly and unprofessional. He should have his medical license ripped from his weak hands. He works in Placentia and Corona, at Riverside Medical Clinic, who is also liable for his negligent behavior. This goes strictly AGAINST the Hippocratic oath.

It turns out…read moreit was a tumor in my right thyroid so he did a biopsy which came back negative, recommended a partial thyroidectomy to remove the tumor and the useless right thyroid so I went ahead and had the surgery with him. In the thyroid they found cancer so he recommended completing the thyroidectomy, so into a second surgery I went. Dr. Sun was extremely nice, funny and informative with me. He gave me so many details and even drew out what the thyroid looked like, where the tumor was, and where they found the cancer for me. The process with him went so fast too, he made sure I got into surgery immediately, and when I needed the second surgery he got me back in even quicker. His enthusiastic demeaner and his sense of humor really calmed me down during every appointment, because of course just the idea of cancer is scary and nerve-racking. His surgical skills are incredible. Usually with a full thyroidectomy they need to cut across the entire throat, but since my first surgery was only partial it was a smaller incision. He was somehow able to remove the left thyroid from that existing incision. He avoided having to cut through the left side of my throat. This was back in June and the scar is almost gone, I can tell in another couple of months it'll just start looking like the neck wrinkle I have above it. I didn't use any scar creams or special gels to heal it faster. I just let it heal naturally and wow, by next year you won't even be able to tell I had any surgeries there.

Returning to this office was the best decision I have made…read more I have always experienced sinus allergies and eventually sinus infections. In 2020, things got much worse, so my PCP referred me to ENT & SINUS CENTER in Rancho Cucamonga. My experience with the practice, from the front desk staff to the telephone service, left much to be desired. However, my doctor, Henry H. Nguyen, M.D., was unbelievably amazing, so I continued my care with him. Fast-forward to 2022: I could not contact anyone in the office; my messages went unanswered, and I went out of my way to stop by for answers. So, I decided not to return. While I continued to follow all of Dr. Nguyen's recommendations for my sinus care, it wasn't enough. I debated going elsewhere, but the thought of care from another physician who had neither a passion for his chosen field nor heartfelt care for his patients simply didn't do it for me. In 2024, I got another referral to a different place, and just as I was going to enter a new office, I decided to call the ENT & SINUS CENTER one last time. Calling again was the best decision I have ever made regarding my healthcare. Thank you for bearing with me and allowing me to share the background. The office has a brand-new team of staff, and the experience is completely different. No more unanswered calls or negative attitudes from anyone. The receptionist was polite and happy when she answered the phone. Emily P.A., Marissa M.A., and Nidhi M.A. went above and beyond what I expected. I continued my care with Dr. Nguyen and Deborshi Roy M.D., and had a Balloon Sinus Dilation back in November of 2024. Both doctors are truly amazing and kind. I am not one to write reviews, and it's been a while since my procedure; however, I think it is of utmost importance to let others know when one finds the right care. I highly recommend this office. You will not be disappointed. Everyone listened and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Nguyen ordered all the tests needed to provide an accurate diagnosis. The payment process was seamless, and the waiting time and accessibility were great. I highly recommend this office.

This was my first visit. I was the only person in the waiting room. Vacant waiting area and an immediate appointment are generally not good signs; nonetheless, I remained hopeful. I was called in by the medical assistant and quickly received a sinus scan. No one discussed that a scan would be preformed. I have never been to an ENT so assumed it was protocol. However, the lack of transparency & zero discussion about potential costs is worrisome. I know realize that, based on the reviews, I may receive a hefty bill. I'll update if billing is suspect. Waited for PA several minutes. She was nice, seems caring and answered my questions. She was super helpful in referring me to VNG/Vestibular testing for swaying dizziness. However, the delivery and flow of the appointment felt scripted and eventually led to the recommendation of two outpatient surgeries. Post my appointment, I read the reviews and now realize it's the same procedures pitched to the majority of reviewers. Let's just say that I feel uneasy with patterns. The appointment ends with a procedure coordinator, who is ready to schedule your surgery, which I did not schedule. In the end, it felt more like a sales pitch. My assessment could be wrong but I will look elsewhere for continued care. My perception is that the PA and staff are merely working under this care model and are doing their best within that sales focused framework. I will be back to update about billing should I receive any large or unexpected bills from this business. 3 stars because I think there's good people there doing their best but I can't recommend this place for ENT care.
