This place is every plant lovers dream, it's like walking into the rainforest, they have plants galore and even some adorable animals! They have 2 birds and koi fish and it fits the setting so beautifully. Let me start off by saying it looks like this is a mill with quite a few places inside of it, so they have a pretty good parking area. When you walk into you are kindly greeted, we met Adam who was a peach! There actually were quite a few employees, always around and willing to help, because plant galore is an understatement. Every plant is labeled and you can tell WELL taken care of. Adam and another gentlemen were watering the plants while we were there and you could tell, everything here is done in a very particular and careful way- I love that. When I say TONS of plants of all kinds I mean it. While my mother has a green thumb, and I just don't have plants because my cats will eat anything- I learned after the fact their website shows names and pictures of plants they have that are pet-friendly, so I want to indeed go back and grab some. This place you can get easily be in for a while especially if you look at everything. They also have pots and things of that nature and little trinkets and stuff. They also have a little area to grab Honey related drinks called The Hive Bar I wrote a review on this business. Feel free to check it out they're awesome and an amazing touch for this place. I 100% say go check this place out. Any questions, just ask an employee they're all so kind and know their stuff. Adam had all the answers we needed. Oh and I was shocked the prices were extremely reasonable, my mom left with a really cool plant- and I plan on bringing her again soon.

I love that they have a coffee shop inside now too and do fun pop up events. There is ample parking too. No shade on Jordan's Jungle because I know it's a shared building, I just wish the landlord would take better care of the entry ramp, it's not the best and needs a lot of TLC!

Best-laid plans succumb to the enchantment of nature's bounty…read more For the longest time, I never ventured into Prickly Ed's because, let's face it, with a name like "Prickly," I assumed it was a nursery for cacti. All this time I was missing out on a fantastic botanical wonderland with native perennials and a superb variety of pollinator plants. I've been creating a pollinator garden and word of mouth everywhere was to visit Prickly Ed's to stock up on plants. There are echinaceas, lobelia cardinalis, asclepias, rudbeckia, euthrochium spp., aquilegia canadensis, symphyotrichum novae angliae, liatris, shrubs, annuals and more. As you wander through the rows of plants, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who are more than happy to share their wealth of knowledge and gardening tips. I went there with my carefully curated list of plants determined to stick with it but as soon as I stepped foot into this botanical playground my addiction kicked in. The list was put away and I surrendered to the allure of Prickly Ed's plant bounty. I just can't help myself.
