Solid choice for a wine tasting up in the beautiful Los Olivos wine area. We called ahead and made our reservation a few days before driving up. Plenty of organized parking when you first get off Foxen rd to the vineyard.. Inviting hostesses and great customer service awaits from the moment you walk up to the tasting outdoor area. The area sits under a beautiful shady oak tree area with an adequate amount of clean tables to sit at. The indoor space looks beautiful and renovated with modern features. Time was limited so we only had a outdoor glass of wine instead of trying the full tasting menu. The winery has plenty of wine choices to choose from and you won't be disappointed. Definitely hits all the notes for the traditional SBwine choices. Overall a great choice to spend a few hours at enjoying. The Syrah lot glass of wine we had was simply fantastic. Was fairly priced and would gladly pay for it again. Btw, the leaves are changing color with the seasons right now so I thought to post that photo over everything else. 5 stars. Thank you.

What an amazing venue to visit and wine taste. I have been here many times and the weather is always nice (lucky us). They have a large area outside under beautiful Oak trees for small parties or large groups. They have small rooms inside for tastings and restrooms as well as a photo machine that takes still and short videos for fun mementos to send to yourself or share for the public page/wall at the winery. The wines vary and were excellent. Too many good ones to narrow a favorite. We took home several bottles. We will be back! Cheers!

One of my favorite wineries in Sant Ynez Valley. I came on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving with my family to do some wine tasting. I had made reservations a week before to avoid any issues since there were 7 of us. We were seated right away with no problems and loved our time here. We ended up getting bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon cause it was so good. The winery is beautiful. Both indoor and outdoor seating area are amazing. Love the big trees surrounding the tables where we were sitting. The ambiance is great here as always Great customer service and great wine at a great winery. We will be back.

Very nice, relaxing, casual ambiance - and CHOCOLATES! My friend is the wine drinker. I didn't mind coming along to tour a couple of wineries, but the libation is lost on me, so I just listen to the descriptions and watch her enjoy and give her opinion. When we got to AM, they had snacks, a few gift shop items to peruse and CHOCOLATES to purchase. I enjoyed a dark chocolate with peanut butter center, while relaxing in a comfy chair with one of the warm provided blankets to enjoy. My friend bought a few bottles and, when checking out, was told she could purchase a $5 ticket to their Los Olivos tasting room, E11even, and get an additional 5 tastings, so she opted in for that. Me? I got more chocolate to go! Cheers! CC

Thomas took care of us! Great service, my in-laws became members! Keep up the great work Thomas! We'll see you soon!

Had a phenomenal experience wine tasting with friends a few weeks back. Despite the weather being rainy, they were able to give us a great experience inside. While very home feeling, it was extremely well decorated as well. Each setting was just far enough from other people so you can focus on one another. Izzy in particular made our experience one that we were grateful for. She was extremely knowledgeable about each wine as well as the vineyard itself. We asked tons of questions and she knew everything off the top of her head as well as giving us a detailed and interesting answer. I am eager to drive back up and visit again as this was such a memorable experience! Not to mention, the dog toys are adorable!

    Peaceful setting.

Wide variety of mostly low tannin wines. Syrahs are excellent. Grounds are relaxing. Service is excellent.

Where we were staying in Solvang they gave us a list of wineries to try. It was two for one tasting so we picked this place to go to. On our way home. Very glad we did as the wines were pretty good. Isaac helped us and he was very informative and helpful. I ended up buying a Esperanto and a Rose. Their Syrah was also quite good. Prices were reasonable, even though we were not club members. We sat inside, as we were a little chilly, but most people sat outside.

    Outdoor seating.

Ambiance was nice. There was a lot of outdoor seating. Service was terrific. The gentleman taking care of us was very welcoming and came just at the right time for each tasting, Wines were fine.

Loved this place and the wines were amazing. They have a a super nice outdoor area shaded by trees where you can enjoy a tasting, glass or bottle. I had the tasting and loved all the wines so much that I joined their wine club. I received my first shipment the week after I arrived back home to Texas. Shipping is only $25 and totally worth it. My two favorites so far include the roasted slope and the Syrah estate. They sell snacks too. We had cheese and crackers with our wine. Parking is available on site.

Sitting in our own little tasting room was very nice.

We had a very nice time at Andrew Murray, as they were very busy, I was ready to to turn and leave, but they were really accommodating. As Dex is a small dog, he is unsure of large dogs, we were able to use a smaller room, and were basically given a private tasting by Jordan. Everyone was really sweet to us. Esperance Rosé and Viognier were a nice way to start, the reds and red blends were a nice way to finish. I enjoyed the Grenache, which is nice and dry enough for my taste. We picked up a Late Harvest Viognier which we both enjoyed.

It was the first of five tastings we did during our weekend in town, and the wines were, admittedly, the least impressive. They went down easy, though, and we had a pleasant visit. We checked into our hotel on Friday around 5:30 and quickly realized that all the wineries on our list were closed. We asked the receptionist where we might be able to do a tasting, and she said Carhartt was our best bet. It was quite open when we walked in, almost intimidatingly so, the live music loud as we rounded the sidewalk outside the enclosed patio. Jack welcomed us into the tasting room and suggested we do a vibe check on the patio before deciding where to sit. We peeked outside and it seemed fun in a way we weren't looking for, a bit of a party atmosphere with a live band and a lot of people. We took our seats in the quieter tasting room, where we were able to enjoy the music from a distance while we drank some wine. We both did the house tasting, which came with five pours of Carhartt wines: the 2024 Top Branch, the 2022 Sin Nada, the 2022 Sangiovese, the 2022 Rebel Roan, and the 2020 Northerly. Jack also gave us a taste of the 2021 Graciano. They were all nice wines, but we particularly liked the Sin Nada, the Sangiovese, and the Graciano, and took home two bottles of each, getting one $25 tasting fee waived with each purchase of three bottles. Jack was a great host, and he told us all about the wines and winery as we went along. (He pre-empted our first question, saying that yes, they were the same Carhartts as the Carhartt clothing label, but not the same company. I guess just the classic generational wealth to winemaking pipeline.) It was a helpful introduction to both the Carhartt wines and Los Olivos, and Jack was good company. I said Carhartt was the least impressive of the wineries we visited, but it's also worth noting that it had the lowest price point. Carhartt isn't gunning for Robert Parker ratings. The wines are accessible and tasty, and I have a feeling we'll go through our bottles very fast.

The setting itself is just as memorable as the tasting. There is ample charming outdoor seating beside a small creek, and the gentle sound of flowing water creates a peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere. The vibes are truly immaculate. Inside, the shop is beautifully styled and filled with thoughtfully selected gifts and, of course, an impressive array of olive oils available for purchase. The place is casual and not tiny, but it definitely fills up. I don't think they were taking walk-ins while we were there. The tasting room--or tasting patio, I suppose--was really pleasant, a breezy outdoor space in front of a charming brick-red house with a strong Los Olivos aesthetic. My only complaint is that the bathroom was a porta-potty, though it was the nice kind, with running water. We got our own table and a friendly, knowledgeable young server brought us our wines and explained what we were drinking. He was busy, so this was one of the less in-depth tastings we did on this trip, but the experience was easy and enjoyable. There were two tastings on offer, the classic estate flight and the "fresh and esoteric." Since this was our first visit, we both went with the estate, and it was a great introduction to Stolpman's wines. We tried the 2025 Sauvignon Blanc, the 2024 Chenin Blanc, the 2024 La Cuadrilla, the 2023 Sangiovese, and the 2024 Angeli, the label's flagship Syrah. They were all excellent and very well priced--the Cuadrilla goes for $26. It's also a delicious wine with a cool provenance, a red blend made by Stolpman's vineyard workers on a designated block, in what looks to be a successful profit sharing project. The tasting fee was $25, waived with a three-bottle purchase. We snapped up three each of the Sauvignon Blanc and the Sangiovese, which cost $24 and $36 a bottle. Tremendous value for such outstanding wines. I have a feeling we'll go through these quickly, and may be tempted to join the wine club if we do. Either way, though, I hope to go back to Stolpman. I'm definitely curious about that second tasting.
