Ok this place is fantastic. Yes it's a hole in the wall and it's basically just a take out place…read more But I had to try it. I knew what to expect walking in a gas station but didn't know it was going to be cooked fresh and DELICIOUS! The service was super friendly and pointed me the right direction. I wanted a rice dish and got the lamb to try out. Wow! It was full of flavor and not greasy like some places. Ultra flavorful rice, with meat and a nice salad to go with it covered in a nice white dressing. You can also get a hot or a garlic sauce on the side. This will be the first of many times we will go. 1. Take out only 2. Grab a drink there at gas station or at QT and enjoy a nice halal meal.

I wanted cheese fries, but they told me they didn't have any cheese. That made no sense because they were still selling hamburgers and chopped cheese sandwiches, so clearly they had cheese. On top of that, I was told my food would be ready in 20-25 minutes, but I ended up waiting an entire hour. When I finally got my order, it wasn't even made correctly. I asked for both white sauce and red sauce, and neither was included. The long wait, lack of menu items, and incorrect order were very disappointing. I had been seeing them promoting this place on TikTok and I wanted to support a local business, but after this experience, I hope they improve their customer service, food preparation, and inventory management. The only reason for two stars is they sauce but they stay forgetting it!!

I was so intrigued I looked up the history of the building, and the automotive companies that inhabited the building before the restaurant. Were you around when the Pontiac show room always had a white Christanas tree in the main window for Christmas? The food was upscale pub food. The Onion rings were delicious. The Sloppy Joes were memerable and I loved my chicken salad. Most importantly, the drinks were great. I would love to stop by again.

We went to Five Points Public house for a weekday lunch and only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. The food was good, the interior architecture is nice to look at, and we will be back. The restaurant is a mix of booths and tables with chairs. You can tell the building is old, but had been tastefully worked into a restaurant by the age on the exposed brick within. The whole front of the restaurant faces one of the main roads for downtown, and has large windows that bring in tons of natural light. This place is good for a date night, a group gathering, or anything in between. There's even some bar seating if that's your thing. Our table got the French dip and a make-your-own burger. The French dip was easily shared by my little and me, as the portion size was large. The build-your-own-burger comes exactly as you want it, cooked to your temperature preference, but I will say the patty could have had more seasoning on it. The onion rings are amazing, and the onion adheres perfectly to the batter. One thing I hope to be able to use in the future is the Pontiac Room, which is their second story event space. They have a nice sign that gives details about the space, and I truly believe it would be good for wedding receptions, large parties, or large group gatherings. I don't know if there is an elevator to this space, so you'd need to check on that should your group have mobility concerns. Overall, this is a place that we will bring the whole crew to in the future.
