Way over priced for the quality of food served. Food utensils are very dirty and most of the food is stale.

Have never been disappointed in the food at this Corral. Or, for that matter, service is always exemplarary.

Our server started pushing us to pay while we were still eating. I politely asked if I could pay at the front like I normally do, but she didn't speak English and became very pushy and rude. They began removing dishes from the table before closing time and before giving any kind of last call. I asked to speak with the manager, but when he arrived he also did not speak English, so there was no real way to properly explain the situation. At 9:01 pm we were basically told to leave. I completely understand restaurants have closing times, but there is a respectful way to handle it, usually by giving customers a heads-up and allowing them time to finish their meal instead of rushing them out the door. As someone who worked in restaurants when I was younger, I know that basic communication and courtesy are essential. What also felt uncomfortable was the atmosphere among the staff. The employees seemed extremely nervous and afraid to speak or explain anything, which made the whole situation feel strange and unsettling. It honestly gave the impression that they were scared to say the wrong thing or do anything outside of strict instructions, which was sad to witness. Overall, the food might be fine, but the service and the way the situation was handled made it a very disappointing experience.

Peppers Restaurant - Garlic Naan Perfection with excellent chutneys too

My newest food fixation is the Sesame Cauliflower from Peppers in Jamestown. I cannot stop thinking…read moreabout it. The perfectly cooked soft center, the crisp exterior, and the sticky ssssaaaaauce it's covered in... It's savory and heavy enough to be a meal but I was being generous and decided to share the appetizer with my spouse. They do offer a spice scale and they don't hold back. I foolishly tried the spice level 3 (out of 5 being the hottest) and should have chosen a 2 spice level. But the cauli was so good I fought through the pain. Worth it. I could have easily stopped there but we also ordered the garlic naan (also yessssss) as well as the Lamb Korma and Chicken Vindaloo. Both those entrees were delicious but the Korma really stood out to me. The rich and creamy sauce was very unique to my pallet and when I returned, I ordered the Chicken Korma. Clearly I love a good sauce. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, very spacious and would be great for groups or a romantic dinner for 2 (or 3 if you are into that sort of thing). The service was excellent and our server was patient when we ask questions about the menu. Fortunately, a lot of the dishes have descriptions on the menu so you have a good idea of what you are ordering. Looking forward to returning to Peppers again .... for the cauliflower... and the naan....

After a year of living in the area, I finally got around to trying Peppers, and WOW is it good. It…read moreis definitely my new favorite Indian restaurant, and even in my top 5 local restaurants in general! From the moment we walked in the door, the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive. We were seated immediately, and given time/space to look over the menu, but with our server still hovering nearby in case we had questions or were ready quickly. When we ordered, the server explained the 1-5 spice scale, gave recommendations, and even asked about allergies. After the food came out, he continued to check on us. This is definitely not one of those "abandoned in the corner and ignored" type of establishments. We started with an order of chili paneer, with spice level 2. It was perfectly crunchy and super flavorful. Level 2 has a nice kick to it if you sit for a minute between bites, but it doesn't necessarily light you up either. It is a great level if you're sharing something with someone a little more spice-hesitant. I love paneer, and this appetizer had a generous portion that could easily be a meal for 1 person. For my main, I got the Chana masala, spice level 3. This was absolutely delicious! Spicy, warm, flavorful. Chickpeas had the perfect texture -- not too hard nor too mushy. As a spicy food enjoyer, level 3 was a nice level that is hot and ~just~ starts to make my face flush, but isn't overpowering. A "conversational" level if you will. I could easily order this on a work lunch and could still eat with decorum. We also got garlic naan, which is always a hit, but done absolutely perfectly here. Pillowy, soft, fresh, and generous with the garlic.

The rolls were hot right out of the oven, light and fluffy almost like a krispy cream donut without the frosting. Waitress came around fast for refills on our drinks. I really liked the fried chicken. The batter was light yet crispy. Really good! They had ham as well and that was good too. Pretty good size buffet. Lots of veggies to choose from as well as hot dishes. You could find something even if you were picky. The Mac and cheese has to be mentioned it was no box mix! Just like Mom made , cheesy goodness!! When your done eating they had a peach cobbler that looked homemade as well as ice cream in a machine, no fake ice cream either! Creamy and delicious!! We will for sure take a ride over again sometime. Its approx a hour and a half away.

Both the chop and thigh were overcooked. The pinto and green beans were good. This round gets a 6 out of 10. My next plate consists of fried flounder, baked chicken , white rice with white gravy, and cabbage. The flounder was good and hot. The chicken was a little undercooked and lacked seasoning. The cabbage was good. My aunt was right about rice; it wasn't even close to being done. This round, I give a 5 out of 10, mainly because of the rice. And last of all, their fatback was way too salty!!! And I love me some fatback. Overall, I give Pops 2 STARS with the potential to get better.

I expressed to be seated somewhere else and she seemed to have taken offense to me asking. As she was showing us to our seats she was walking through the restaurant so fast mind you guys, it was our first time there. Waiters walked by us several times before asking if we needed anything. It wasn't a good impression of the restaurant. We will not be returning. People shouldn't work in customer service industries thats face to face services if you're not a people person. This is all based off of my observation of the overall experience. We wanted to try something different outside of the buffet spot we normally go to and thought this would be a good experience but unfortunately it wasn't. The restaurant wasn't as big on the inside with the aisle being too narrow to walk in between without getting too close to the tables or having to stop midway to allow others to walk past. When your used to a certain level of customer service from other places, you can instantly spot the differences in the service levels. Not to sound mean which isn't my intent at all, but for those who go here on a regular and you enjoy the food dont stop if your pleased with the service. Continue to support them however, as for me and my family we didnt have a good experience and the first impression of the service was not a good one. I have always given credit where credit is due and this isnt to say that everyone there had poor customer service because that wasn't the case at all. I'm only referring to those who were servicing us. I actually had a very nice waiter who wasn't assigned to our table to come over and see about us because he noticed no one had been to our tables to ask if we needed anything. The food was ok. Our experience may not be someone else's. When we went it was very busy so it could have just been due to the crowd but at any rate when you're in a customer service industry its always best to put your best foot forward. The only reason im giving a 3 star is because of the waiter who was so kind and provided great customer service.
