Our server started pushing us to pay while we were still eating. I politely asked if I could pay at the front like I normally do, but she didn't speak English and became very pushy and rude. They began removing dishes from the table before closing time and before giving any kind of last call. I asked to speak with the manager, but when he arrived he also did not speak English, so there was no real way to properly explain the situation. At 9:01 pm we were basically told to leave. I completely understand restaurants have closing times, but there is a respectful way to handle it, usually by giving customers a heads-up and allowing them time to finish their meal instead of rushing them out the door. As someone who worked in restaurants when I was younger, I know that basic communication and courtesy are essential. What also felt uncomfortable was the atmosphere among the staff. The employees seemed extremely nervous and afraid to speak or explain anything, which made the whole situation feel strange and unsettling. It honestly gave the impression that they were scared to say the wrong thing or do anything outside of strict instructions, which was sad to witness. Overall, the food might be fine, but the service and the way the situation was handled made it a very disappointing experience.

I foolishly tried the spice level 3 (out of 5 being the hottest) and should have chosen a 2 spice level. But the cauli was so good I fought through the pain. Worth it. I could have easily stopped there but we also ordered the garlic naan (also yessssss) as well as the Lamb Korma and Chicken Vindaloo. Both those entrees were delicious but the Korma really stood out to me. The rich and creamy sauce was very unique to my pallet and when I returned, I ordered the Chicken Korma. Clearly I love a good sauce. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, very spacious and would be great for groups or a romantic dinner for 2 (or 3 if you are into that sort of thing). The service was excellent and our server was patient when we ask questions about the menu. Fortunately, a lot of the dishes have descriptions on the menu so you have a good idea of what you are ordering. Continue to support them however, as for me and my family we didnt have a good experience and the first impression of the service was not a good one. I actually had a very nice waiter who wasn't assigned to our table to come over and see about us because he noticed no one had been to our tables to ask if we needed anything. The food was ok. Our experience may not be someone else's. When we went it was very busy so it could have just been due to the crowd but at any rate when you're in a customer service industry its always best to put your best foot forward. The only reason im giving a 3 star is because of the waiter who was so kind and provided great customer service.
