Within about 2 minutes of starting my wedding consultation, I knew I was wasting my time. The consultant was unimaginative and uninspired. He gave me a book to choose from - not point out things I liked, but to choose my bouquet from. The consultant didn't appear to listen - I said white roses seemed cliche and wanted something more "seasonal" for my fall nuptuals. What did he offer up? White roses for everyone! Once I got over a few off-color comments and jabs about his other clients, I had to laugh when he asked if my 8-month-pregnant bridesmaid "wouldn't be showing, right?" One word comes to mind: RUDE. My girlfriend's best friend ordered her flowers for her birthday. I decided to work from home for the afternoon so that I could be around for the flowers to be delivered. The only problem? No one ever came by. I was home all afternoon and asked my landlord to be on the lookout for a delivery as well. Nothing ever came. Instead, I got a call around 4:30pm. They told me a delivery person had stopped by but no one answered and that we would need to come pick up the flowers (of course, they close at 5pm). I asked if they could let me know what time the delivery person "stopped by." The woman huffed and puffed and said that would involve looking at the Driver's Log. "That would be great," I said. She told me the driver stopped by at 2:30pm. When I mentioned I was home all afternoon and had in fact worked from home for the delivery, she was immediately defensive. "What sense would that make for the driver to say he went somewhere he didn't?! He's been working here for a long time." My response: "Well, it would certainly make delivering easier if you don't actually go to a place and make people come in to pick up the items." She was very rude back to me, insisting that didn't make sense and that her driver has worked there for several years. I brought up the fact that the delivery fee (my girlfriend's friend paid more than $15 just for delivery) should be refunded and she was even more indignant. The problem I have with this is that it all could have been resolved with a simple, "I'm sorry." It's a shame that this place is so close... I definitely will never use this place! read more

Great employees at this shop. I was in a time crunch & walked right in to tell them the price range I was looking for. They pulled together a beautiful arrangement quickly. Unlike some floral shops, you can't walk in & see their single flowers. However, the employees are very helpful & will make sure you are taken care of. read more

My experience was quite a bit different for my own wedding, but it may have been partially assisted by the fact that I brought my own pictures to illustrate which flowers, what color scheme, and what shapes of bouquets and boutinnieres I was looking for. They turned out great, and they worked within my price range. They even provided bundles of loose lavender stems that I later incorporated myself into the wedding table arrangements (since, to save money, I had ordered additional flowers from Sam's Club in bulk for the tables). They knew I was running my own show, on a tight budget, and worked with me to make my vision happen. Also, for events associated with my work, I go to Andrews, since I work for a non-profit. I go because I know they respect budgets, as they had done for my wedding. For fundraising dinners, etc., all I have to do is send John or Anne a picture of a centerpiece arrangement, tell them what my budget is, and they come as close as they can to matching the color scheme and shape in flowers that might be more seasonal or less expensive. They wind up looking great at the event and staying fresh for days afterwards when guests take them home. So, all told, it's a nice family operation they have there, so long as you communicate what you want and what you can afford. read more

Great customer service, I called Andrews Florist at the last minute needing a funeral arrangement sent to a local Funeral Home, the sales associate was so helpful, she stated no problem they could get it delivered before the calling. After dealing with another florist in town last night I came back to Andrew. Found a flower bouquet from Andrew that was perfect for the occasion, as was the price. This afternoon I got a text from the recipient who was more than excited about the arrangement, her husband even sent me a picture.....and you know what, not only was it just as perfect as the picture on their wed-site, but it just happened to match the recipients favorite table-cloth! Worthless! Do not use this company. Made in order through FTD. This was suppose to be a birthday delivery. Their office called my cell which I missed but I called them back literally in 1 minute. The office person said no one was at residence...i said thats fine leave on the item on the porch. She said okay I will call the driver back right now. Sooo I called her back in about 45 minutes to confirm items were delivered. She said oooh they are out of the area now..WHAT?!! IN ONE MINUTE ? She said yes he's out of the area now....the delivery person was supposed to leave the flowers on the porch like instructed however they did not and would not come back to make delivery under any circumstance. What's the purpose of same day delivery if you don't make the delivery? On their website it says they are an FTD exclusive agent. Do not use FTD if they rely on this company. Now my birthday flowers will be late..THANK YOU ANDREWS FOR NOTHING!! and the woman answering the phone... very rude. I told her it was supposed to be same day delivery she said you'll have to call whoever you made you're order with. Now that's customer service. It seem she could care less about my delivery and more concerned about getting off the phone to go home. DO not use this company under any circumstance unless you want to be disappointed...VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more
