The first day he texts me 25 minutes before the earliest I was supposed to be there to say he was leaving. Ok, stuff happens. Confirmed that he would be there the next day between 4 and 5. Get there, doors are locked and the vehicle wasn't on the lot. So I call a few minutes after 4. The guy says that the van is at his house 30 miles away if I want to go see it. Um...no, I actually do not want to go to the house of some guy I don't know to look at a vehicle that may or may not even exist. I don't want to do business with someone who can't even keep their word about an appointment time and may or may not have some issues causing the inability to keep his crap together.

The salesman conveniently forgot to mention that the car I purchased had a replacement engine installed. I only found out after digging through the paperwork myself. This is the kind of critical detail any honest seller would disclose upfront. On top of that, they promised me multiple times they would fix several issues with the car before I picked it up--issues like a strange noise from the engine and a faulty sensor. Of course, none of those problems were actually fixed. When I confronted them, the mechanic gave me excuses and acted like it was no big deal. The car still has the same problems, and now I'm stuck with a vehicle I can't fully trust. If you value your money and your peace of mind, stay far away from anyone who operates like this. He requested my information and driver's license, then sent me by email with a buyers' order on the car where he stated a 100% money back guarantee within 10 days upon purchase. On his follow-up call, he insisted that I pay him the full amount asking price to go forward. I told him I was not about to give him tens of thousands of dollars sight un-seen without first sending a vehicle inspector first. He kept referring to the money back guarantee as the safe guard and that after he had the money, if the inspection was not satisfactory, I could get my money back. I refused and told him that I would have an inspector there the next day and if the car was as presented, I would wire the money. The next day the inspector called me and said in 20 years of inspecting cars, he had never had a seller make more excuses of being too busy or was not available to show him the car! I decided to do research. This entity is a Florida LLC (the dealership is in Barnhart Missouri) and when you Google the picture of supposed building, it is an office building, not a car lot. I purchased a car from here and 2 weeks later the transmission went out and he won't honor the warranty. It started when he told me the car passed the inspection with flying colors and the only money he had to put into it was replacing a tail light bulb and then when I went to get it licensed in my haste I didn't look at the inspection papers well enough and they were not even for that car but instead for a Cadillac. The DMV stated that the car was never even inspected. He claimed he had been driving that car for months and I would think you would need to have it inspected or else he was driving it illegally but in my opinion he was probably not driving it as he stated. When I went to get it inspected they told me that the light bulb in the tail light was out and they couldn't pass in until that was fixed so again he told me a lie and he even said at the lot that he had changed it himself.We will settle this in small claims court.
