Well you will NOT feel that way at Lambs! I called for an appointment with Lisa, the owner, because of a friend's always sassy smart haircuts. The receptionist (very nice!!) booked a consultation first so that we'd know what we were doing and how much time Lisa would need to schedule for my first appointment. The salon is eclectic and artsy, yet warm and inviting. The vibe is very chill and positive. No pretentious stylists running around flaunting dramatic egos- just creative, authentic artists who sincerely care about their clients. I must also mention these folk are extremely passionate about animals and animal rights and for the past eight years have sponsored a fundraiser "Shampooch" which benefits local animal shelters. So, tell me, how can they be anything but genuine? My hair was basically a hot mess....frizzy, bad cut, and stripey highlights. Lisa and her assistant Jasmine worked their magic for two hours during which I felt completely relaxed and at home. When they finished, my color looked splendid and natural. The highlights now look natural and my base color looks normal, too. We are working on the cut which will take a few more visits to grow and shape into the style we want, but I am happy to have found what Lisa calls "a hair home"!!

I had received a bad haircut from Great Clips and basically told the owner to just try to fix it the best he could. He did a great job. There are a couple other people that work there as contractors, but I don't think they have a receptionist. If you're local and need an appointment, it's probably best to stop in to make one.

But this was by far the worst curtain bang cut I have ever received. My bangs are incredibly choppy and not what I asked for at all. I asked her to start with it longer then we can see if I want it shorter - and she definitely just went ahead and went for the chop. I asked for longer ends and that didn't happen as well. Today I am off to go somewhere else and hopefully fix this. Super disappointed and REALLY wish stylists wouldn't accept a job they don't know how to do.

I'm SO GLAD I did! The least of my worries nowadays is my hair thanks to the Brazilian blowout treatment and the products she sent me home with that I was also hesitant to buy but I'm so glad I did!!! Since I trust her and she's never steered me wrong I gave in. It was all absolutely totally worth it. Nowadays I take my quick showers using the shampoo/cond and then a quick comb through of a leave in cream. I've blown it out once for a straight bouncy look but have left it air drying for most days and have received nothing but compliments on it. Everyday has been a great hair day ever since! I went home and did my research and found out they do perms! I saw some reviews and reached out to see if they would be able to take me in. They responded promptly and I was able to come in right away. I want to preface by saying I had a conversation via text about what I wanted and the health of my hair. There were inspiration photos as well as photos of my hair to get a gist of things. But overall, it was discussed that it was possible to get the outcome I wanted. That being said, I went to the salon and got my perm. It was wavy but not as curly as I wanted. I left a little disappointed. But, paid and went about my day. The next morning, I woke up and my once wavy perm was just flat. I reached out to the salon to see if we could re-perm my hair because I wasn't quite content with the outcome. They responded quickly and were able to book me that day. When I got to the salon, I was apologetic for having to redo my perm, but they were so understanding and kind about the entire situation. They re-permed my hair and the outcome was everything I wanted! I was so happy. The curls came out beautiful and my hair is still very healthy despite being permed twice within two days. I went in and was greeted warmly I asked pricing and if they could fit me in today. Yes they could! Wow! Was I lucky! After a short wait Ms. Liriam greeted me and brought me back.. listening to me and cutting my hair beautifully she askedif i wanted to get my hair colored. Usually doing it myself with a result after a month of 3 different colors. I said yes! To my surprise it was quick and affordable. Great music, clean and fun atmosphere!
