We had an absolutely outstanding experience and I can't say enough good things about this place…read more We placed a large order to help feed our church after service, and from start to finish everything exceeded expectations. My wife initially connected with Anna, who was phenomenal. I later met with her in person to place the deposit, and she was incredibly warm, accommodating, and welcoming. She even took the time to offer us a few samples of their prepared foods, which was such a thoughtful touch. Before leaving, I decided to grab about 2 pounds of pork pastor for dinner, and asked if they could cook it for me. I was genuinely shocked in the best way at how affordable it was. The price for the meat plus the cooking fee came out to less than $10. When I got home and tried it, all I can say is wow. The pork was incredibly flavorful, tender, and absolutely delicious. The next day when I returned to pick up our large order, everything was ready right on time. The team went above and beyond by helping load everything into my car and even placing napkins underneath the trays to prevent any spills. That level of care really stood out. At church, everyone kept talking about how great the food was. The chicken and steak were both big hits, the beans were very good, and I was honestly surprised at how fresh and flavorful the guacamole was. All in all, this was a top-tier experience. I highly recommend this place for both your meat needs and catering. Special thanks to Anna and her daughter for taking such great care of us. We will definitely be coming back!

No complaints though, because the food is so good. The carne asada burrito is officially our favorite, and I'm definitely trying the menudo next time. It's such a cute little neighborhood market with super friendly staff. They sell fresh food, drinks, homemade gelatin, and you can even buy fresh meat from the counter and have them cook it up for you. We'll definitely be making this our monthly post-volunteering tradition though hopefully they have horchata in stock next time!

Here's what we ordered: Gyro - no tomatoes ** meat was delicious, everything about the gyro was a hit and I've had my share to know what's good Chicken Shawarma sandwich - with everything ** my third daughter ordered this and really enjoyed it Egyptian Pizza - there's only like 3 choices, the guy there recommended the meat, veggies, and cheese. ** I'm not a fan of anything soggy foods because I'm that person that won't eat it right away. The pizza is a little bigger than a personal sized pizza you would get from Pizza hut, but in the form of a calzone cut in 4. It's a little on the greasy end, my first and fourth daughter said it was just okay. Turkey Sandwich - w/no lettuce or tomatoes ** Again, I don't like soggy foods, so ordering this sandwich was a treat for lunch the next day. Sandwich is good, cheese is too thick for me, I tried reheating it during lunch, but the cheese refused to melt...so there's that! Baklava - Ordered a lot because who doesn't like baklava? I will however, suggest that you get the baklava tray in the actual market, it comes with a variety of flavors and it's only $11.99 (wish I had gotten a pic, but here we are)! Overall, I would recommend this spot to others curious about Egyptian food, it's similar to Mediterranean and worth the try. We would most likely return for the Gyro and Chicken Shawarma sandwiches. Oh and we also checked out the juice bar, the drinks were good too!

The main reason we go to this market is for their selection of Maine Root soda. They have a great…read moreselection. If my review stopped here, they'd get a great score. They price these sodas at 2/$5.00 or a 4-pack for $8.99. Here is my issue. They stock the shelves as single bottles with none being stocked in their respective 4-pack carton. Every time I'm getting rung up at the register, I ask them about this. I let them know I'm purchasing 4 and should get the price that is clearly tagged on the shelf. It's a literal fight to get them to honor their pricing and at least 90% of the time they will not sell it for the price THEY HAVE TAGGED ON THE SHELF. I've walked out several times leaving the product at the register. The last time this happened, I asked to speak with the manager on duty. When I told her of the situation (and that it happens repeatedl) she apologized and asked me if I could call the next day and talk to THEIR employee to straighten out the situation. As if it's my job to take care of their poor business practices. I'm not a manager there, and I'm not on their payroll. It's their job to rectify the situation, not the customers. If they don't want to honor their pricing, great, take the tags off the shelf. What they need to do is train their cashiers to honor the price clearly tagged on the shelf. That would take all of 2 minutes to accomplish. Another thing they could do is clipstrip some flattened 4-pack holders right there hanging on the shelf (by the tag that clearly states the 4-pack price). It's a very easy situation to rectify. Its not my job, as a customer, to do it. The employees have such a bad attitude when I'm discussing the situation with them. I don't enjoy shopping here. So I don't anymore. As a consumer, I vote with my wallet.

She is hands down one of the friendliest, most professional, and most efficient employees I've ever met at any store. From the moment she greets you, you can tell she genuinely cares about the customer experience. She always has a warm smile, a positive attitude, and a helpful approach that makes you feel valued. She doesn't just provide service she provides excellent service, the kind that makes you want to keep coming back. What really stands out is how quickly and efficiently she works without ever making you feel rushed. She answers questions clearly, handles transactions smoothly, and makes sure everything is correct before you leave. It's rare to find someone who can balance speed with such genuine friendliness, but Eugenia does it perfectly. I've been to this location multiple times, and her consistency is impressive. Whether the store is busy or quiet, she treats every customer with the same level of respect, attention, and care. That's why I always hope she's the one helping me she makes the entire shopping trip easier, faster, and more enjoyable. If Cardenas had an "Employee of the Year," I would nominate Eugenia without hesitation. She's an absolute gem and a big reason why I'll keep coming back to this store. Thank you, Eugenia, for your outstanding service you truly go above and beyond!
