Yep, I was beyond disappointed we were in the area had to do some shopping and we're quite hungry so we grab something from the deli which we've been known to do. We just grabbed the chicken strips with two sides, and we just went for Mojo potatoes for both of those sides. You could look at the photo and see that the quantity that they gave us of Mojo potatoes was outrageously small for it being our two side sides. I know that these are just premade chicken strips, but for some reason, they were extremely salty and the texture of them was just off. Look, I eat market fried chicken sometimes so believe me I've had my share of salty or not necessarily fantastic fried chicken, but this I didn't even wanna finish one piece. My family shops at Albertsons near Thanksgiving because one of our family members receives a gift card from their work. It is a bit more expensive than other stores (Stater Bros. and Walmart are cheaper, but the card is for Alberton's or Vons. The shopping experience was fine. It is just that the cashier (heavy set, brown hair, fake nails) seemed a little uppity. We paid with a gift card and some cash, and my sister saw the top number and misread the total. The total was $69.00 and my sis gave her $62. At every other store, the cashier would just put the $62 dollars in the register and say okay, your total is now $7.00. She snootily held up the money and said "This is $62.00. No problem. We paid the remaining total. It wasn't that the cashier corrected her. It was the way she said it. My sis said she was just having a bad day, but I don't know. The guy bagging the groceries seemed to have a lot more patience. read more

Do not call or depend on this bakery!! A few years back, it was our son's 5th birthday. I was new to the area and moved here from LA County. They told me to go West on the 210 instead of East! So! In hope that things have changed, I get another bad experience: This Albertson's is the closest to me. I heard about edible photos you can place on the cake and found that Albertson's do make these. Excited as I was, the employee was already irritated by answering the phone and more bothered by answering my questions. You know, the ones that talk fast and breathe and talk loud, because they're "so busy". She explained that they cannot do any copyright web prints and that they are already booked for tomorrow when I haven't had the chance to let her know when I needed it. She said everything in one breath so I ended up saying thank you and hung up. That was not pleasant at all. When people call and place an order for cakes, people want to celebrate something special. But the attitude at this Albertson's Bakery is definitely the worst. Different employees, different day, and same result: ZERO!!!! Today, I decided to make another attempt. So I called again. What is it this time? They left an employee working by herself who is new and could not answer ANY of my questions! I got put hold then had to call back and got "I'm sorry, call tomorrow ". I usually do not shop at Albertsons I find their food to be expensive and the selection is usually limited however I was very impressed when I stopped by they have a Redbox kiosk in store. Call me old school I still like to rent DVDs and this is one of the few places I can do that. Another cool thing about this place is they sell dry ice which is always fun for summer science projects or if you're just going for a spooky ambiance. This is my neighborhood Albertsons, which is the closest to me and today I had a very bad experience before arriving. I tried calling the store to put in a chicken order in advance for pick up through the deli department. No one answered. I called a couple more times and no one answered, so I proceeded to walk into the store and asked The Delivassociate if I can order a fried chicken I asked for 32 and I knew coming in that it was gonna be over 25 minute wait which I was prepared for after placing the order. She approaches me and proceeds to tell me that next time I should try to call in because she's if she's too busy she's gonna say no, but she's gonna do it for me this time I said thank you. I appreciate it and I did try calling, but it's hard to place an order when no one answers the phone. She proceeded to go back-and-forth and tell me that I need to make those calls for these orders And I said thank you again and overall just had a bad experience she had attitude the whole time and kept making comments I just kept my mouth quiet so I wouldn't get my chicken spit on. I wish to have a better experience because I don't appreciate the fact that I was OK with waiting. I was OK with everything and she still had an attitude she works in that department. Great place for all in one shopping because it's located in the Albertsons store. So you can do your grocery shopping and your home shopping all in one shopping experience. Sometimes it a lifesaver to be able to get everything done in one trip than going to several places. It also has a small pharmacy inside as well and it's not very packed at all. I usually always go to this Albertsons because it's close to my house and everyone's usually very nice . Except this one guy! I usually never go through his line because he's very unprofessional and always talks to his coworkers especially women in a weird or flirty way I've seen it a couple times. Today I had to because the other line that was open was full and he had no customers in his line so I proceeded to get in line. I asked this cashier (his name was Joseph) this tall guy with glasses, if I can get a balloon and he replied in a very snarky way and was very rude. They only let you in one door and it's not the one with carts so you have to walk to the other door that's locked to get a cart then they're having a promotion if you spend $30 you get a Disney toy and if you get a gold one you get a hundred bucks ...I usually enjoy these types of things so I go out of my way to spend $30 and no nothing I got was excluded and it still didn't give me one and all the lady could say is oh I don't know why??? There are a couple of ladies that really stand out every time I go in and shop. The First Lady is Yesenia Kirby, always has a smile and is willing help, answer questions and give you what you need. I shopped in this store today. Normally, it is quite pleasant, but today I caught a cashier named Seth, I think making little barking noises at his lady customers. I was disgusted and I looked him right in the eye to see if I heard what I heard, He looked down and did it again to make his cashier buddy laugh. The woman at his register had her head down the entire time. As she passed me leaving the store, I could see her holding back tears. I stopped in on Monday night. It was late and all of the registers were closed except for one. I was buying razors and since those are locked up, the cashier had to leave the register to get them. One employee saw that there were 4 people in line and went to call the cashier. I told her where she was. Then, what appeared to be the night manager, started paging the cashier to get back to her register. He was enraged. When he was told what was going on, he was still ranting about the cashier. This manager should never be in charge of anything. He was defensive and reactionary without finding out what was happening. My cashier Lisa was perfectly lovely. I give her a solid 5 stars on customer service. The manager, in my opinion, should be retrained on how to act toward his staff. It made myself and others in the line uncomfortable. Albertsons I moved to Highland last October from Fontana. I am a faithful shopper; especially on Frenzy Fridays . I love the FF deals don't get me wrong but recently I noticed about the flowers for Friday's advertising...NO flowers. I come about 8:00 a.m. and twice now there isn't any flowers special. The flower department doesn't even put a note out "sorry for the inconvenience". I was in cashier line and a customer turned to me to complain that she came in to get the Friday's flowers and spoke to the flower lady who gave her no response; she was upset. That day I wasn't in need of flowers but I felt bad for the customer. Can management make sure about Friday's Frenzy that they will have the advertise flowers available? And if not, to state "a rain check" is available and given to those who came in specifically for ad flowers. Ok management...hopefully you are reading this and will be reaching out to us customers. This Albertsons has been around for as long as I can remember. I used to come in specifically because they were still considered a Savons pharmacy. I stopped going to their pharmacy because one of the clerks who works there (Caucasian woman with blondish hair) was beyond rude to me every single time I came in. I actually switched pharmacies because of that particular situation so I would give their pharmacy 1 star. I'm giving them 3 however because they have an awesome bakery. This was my first visit to this store and was both positive and negative first impressions. The store itself is beautiful- well laid out and excellent selection. The problem is that it's very very difficult to actually buy anything. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and they had only 2 checkers with no speed lanes open. We waited 45 min to buy 3 items. I asked the checker casually why you had only 2 open with 20-30 people in line and she shrugged saying "that's how it is here". Looks like wonderful store that is poorly managed so won't be coming back. If they cut back on cashiers where else do they cut back on? Is my food safe?
