When I went to use the certificate in August--right when my oil change was due--I discovered it had expired on 6/30/2025, giving me less than a month to use it. Had I known about the short window, I never would have bid on it. I called ahead and spoke with Sandi, who canceled my appointment and said she needed to check with the owner. She mentioned they might not honor it because they had only intended for a two-month window. I didn't hear back, so I followed up and spoke with Jonah, who was kind, understanding, and rescheduled me for the following week, saying they would honor it. Then, the night before my appointment, Sandi called again--this time saying the owner decided not to honor the certificate, calling it "bad business." Her tone was condescending and rude, even comparing the situation to a coupon for a free turkey. When I asked about Jonah's statement that they would honor it, she replied, "Well, he can pay for it if he wants to then." That level of disrespect was shocking. I asked that they speak with my husband and informed them I'd be notifying the hospital foundation so they don't partner with Blazek again. After reading other 1-star reviews, I noticed a pattern: the owner often responds by blaming the customer rather than taking accountability. That's not how you build trust or community goodwill. At this point, even if they changed their mind, I wouldn't feel comfortable letting them touch my car. I sincerely hope they're not receiving any tax benefit from this so-called "donation." Suggestion for improvement: If Blazek Diagnostics wants to continue participating in charitable auctions, they should clearly communicate expiration dates and terms upfront--both to the charity and the bidders. More importantly, they should train staff to handle these situations with empathy and professionalism, rather than sarcasm and blame. A little kindness goes a long way in building customer loyalty.

When I called Blue Wrench letting them know I had the part just needed them to put it in, plus needing the van to be towed from my house to the shop, It was not a big deal at all. We were referred to Capitol Autobody by the insurance company after someone hit the passenger side…read moreof our truck. We scheduled to have the work done and dropped it off. When my husband got the call that it was done, he was told then that they only except cashier's checks, so he had to leave work early to go get that before picking up the truck. After we got it home and had a chance to look it over, my husband noticed that the front door was a little higher than the back door. He also couldn't open the back door with the exterior handle. He had to reach inside and use the inside handle to get it open. We also noticed that they did not replace the weather stripping that somehow got damaged. My husband called Capitol A.B., and they told him to bring it back and they would take care of it. Due to our schedules, we had to wait till Friday to take it back. Before we took it in, we noticed a window switch in the cup holder, but we assumed it was one they replaced and forgot to throw away. After further investigation we discovered that it had been removed from the back driver's side door. They had no reason to be working on the driver's side since all the damage was on the passenger side. So why this was removed in the first place, and not put back is a mystery. We also found a plastic piece sitting on the back seat. After more searching, we discovered it was the piece that goes on the door frame for the back door. They just left it off and left it in the seat. When we dropped it off, we showed them all 5 issues, and they said they would take care of it. Once Monday afternoon rolled around, my husband got a voicemail that the truck was done and that we owed $257.92 for the weather stripping. Needless to say; that did not make us happy that we had to pay more because they screwed up. It would not be such a big deal if it was just one thing wrong, but there were 5 things that needed to be corrected. Keep in mind that we did not have a truck or a rental vehicle when we had to take it back to Capitol A.B. for their lack of quality control. Someone from their shop should have checked to make sure everything was done correctly and put back together before sending it out the door with the customer. After this experience, I would not recommend Capitol Autobody to anyone and will be reaching out to the insurance company to let them know about our experience, so they reconsider recommending Capitol Autobody to their clients.

High quality, quick, reliable, fair, and honest!…read more I own a Smart car and so it can be difficult finding a shop that actually knows how to work and Smart cars and won't charge you an arm and a leg for it. But the other day, my Smart car wouldn't start. I tried jumping it, and it still wouldn't start. So I thought maybe it was the starter or the alternator. My Smart car was now a dumb car. So I called around to see if anyone close by could work on Smart cars. I spoke with the owner, Mark, first and not only did he say that they could fix whatever issue it was, but he also told me to check with my insurance company to see if they would cover the cost of the tow. (And they did, so bonus points for the free tow!) But anyway, I had it towed, and I told them that I thought it might be the starter. They got back to me within a few hours and let me know that it was only the battery. They sent me a quote via email and it was a lot less than I was expecting. I even compared the battery price to the price of batteries at a few "local" parts stores. And the cost of the battery itself was way less than what any part store would have charged me. They had the work done within a few hours and I was able to get it back quickly. I can't recommend the team at All Auto Repair more highly. They are great people and great to work with. My car is Smart once again.
