Honestly, couldn't be more happy with my experience with the shop. I was referred to them by my dad who I got them a while back. I had purchased a replacement alternator at an auto zone thinking I could do it myself. When I called Blue Wrench letting them know I had the part just needed them to put it in, plus needing the van to be towed from my house to the shop, It was not a big deal at all. They replaced the alternator within a few hours and had my van back to me first thing next morning. I took my car in for my engine light was on for something. Once they took my car to do an inspection they let me know they were not charging me for inspecting my car if I choose to fix it, they would just charge me to fix the problem. My fiance looked it up to see how much it would cost and the price they quoted me was right. I paid about 400$ to fix my spark plugs and something else. They took like 1 an hour or maybe 2 I can't remember but it got done and i had no more issues with my car. read more

UPDATE! I got my 1999 GMC Short Bus all fixed up here at Blue Wrench in May before going on a 5 month, 12,000 mile journey across 9 states. I stopped at mechanic shops in most major cities along the way to make sure my bus was still in great shape. After having multiple mechanics look at and work on my bus in LA, Northern Cali, Bend Oregon, Olympia Washington, Idaho Falls, and Austin Texas, BLUE WRENCH IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST MECHANIC SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! (EVERYONE SHOULD GO HERE!!!) I want to give a huge shoutout to these guys at this shop. I have a 1988 Nissan 300ZX that I am putting on a dolly to drive with. The problem is I needed to disconnect the drive shaft from the diff and I was unable to do it on my own. (It is 4 bolts) I called maybe 20-30 shops to see if they could do it and all of the other shops said they were booked out and they cannot do it. Not only did these guys get the job done but they came to where I was parked so I wouldn't do any damage to my transmission in the process. Huge shout out to Sean for taking his POV to my location and helping me out. I brought my F-350 with 84,000 miles to Kendall Ford in Meridian for a dpf sensor repair, that they diagnosed. They fixed it and then my engine light showed back up while they were test driving it. Now they call me to let me know that my DPF needs to be replaced for $8,200. I finally had it as I already came from Lithia Ford who was a rip off since years I found out. I called Jason at Blue Wrench first time and he was so helpful and quick in helping me. I brought my car to him and he fixed it for much less and all what it was needed was the pump and the heater did not work anymore. Either way I can only highly recommend Jason and team for doing an excellent job in saving me a ton of money and being honest about stuff and not ripping their customers off. While on our way from L.A. through Idaho we stopped for supplies at a Walmart in our motorhome. When we started the motorhome there was a slight noise. Grateful we weren't on a lonely stretch of highway, I looked up repair shops on my phone. The folks at Blue Wrench actually answered the phone and said to bring the coach to them. We were less than 10 miles away (another blessing) and the tech quickly diagnosed a vacuum line that had been severed by the fan. Less than 30 minutes later we were back on our way. We towed our truck to Blue Wrench or Idaho Fleet Service (never a good sign when a company is going by two names) in May of 2021. I am writing this entry on January 12, 2022 after getting off the phone with the mechanic saying he would not recommend driving the truck and he could have it towed to us. I have never had a mechanic say they could tow my car back to me! We have paid in full to get our truck back in worse condition than it was when we brought it to them. Not one mechanic even bothered to drive the truck after they "fixed it". I wish I could give this company zero stars. I have been disappointed in mechanics before but this is an all time low. I never write reviews but I had to for other people. They take no ownership in their work. They are crooks. Beware of this company! Reading the comment Brenda D. wrote is spot on, they do not answer their phone, they do not do what they say they are going to do, and they have shady/incompetent mechanics. I took my 2000 Ford F350 4WD Powerstroke pickup to the Blue Wrench (Boise) repair shop on 8/18/20. I had standard maintenance work to be done on the truck and some computer trouble codes to be assessed and resolved. I want to thank Sean and Drake for doing a professional job, not only on the maintenance work, but especially on sleuthing through the trouble codes and fixing the problems related to the waste gate and Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. I took my RV to a dealer who told me I needed a $3300 brake job. Blue Wrench quoted me $1100. When they checked the brakes, they found I still had about 60% left, then didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. They will get all my auto and RV business from now on. read more

It is my understanding that Blue Wrench has bought out Mr. Mobile Lube. We LOVED Mr. Mobile Lube and used them all the time. They came to our house and changed the oil in both of our trucks. We called them again and they set up an appointment for us for a Thursday at 3 P.M. We made sure we stayed home and had both trucks ready for them. They didn't show, nor did they call. We called them the next day and they said, "Oh. We will have someone call you and set up another appointment." No call....no show. We called them a few days later...same song, different verse....no call, no show. We gave them ONE MORE chance...no call....nothing! If they don't come out to people anymore, all they have to say is "We've changed our policy". We would totally understand. But, to just not do ANYTHING and yet PROMISE to do something....that is HORRIBLE customer service! We will NEVER use Blue Wrench...Mr. Mobile Lube...whoever again. read more
