Andy's is suddenly full of nasty rude employees and management. This was one of the best pizza places in the area until recently when new people took over. The food has gone downhill the orders are being screwed up, they charge for things you don't get and they deny all issues on their part.  The employees pass the phone off to managers who hang up on you if you call to complain about anything.    There are so many good pleasant places to go to, or order from in our area, sadly Andy's just isn't one of them anymore. read more

This was a GOOD experience from start to finish. I ordered for pickup through the doordash app dor convenience, and the food was ready quickly. We ordered an XL Supreme Pizza (andys special), Buffalo wings, and french fries (i have a toddler who needed a car snack). Customer service was very quick and the young lady was polite. She greeted me and wished me a good day as well. Place was very clean and the soda fridge was wel stocked. French fries were a 5/5. Hot. Crispy, fresh, salted, doubled battersd similar to Checkers/Rallys fries. So good. Wings 3/5 Price point was great. These were frozen wings tho. The kind thats breaded and frozen and then deep fried, all the coney islands have them. I actually enjoy those-when they are done right. These were tossed in the buffalo sauce. Which promptly created a soggy messy bunch of breading in a box. But the taste was still good. But, idk, they need to fry the chicken longer to make the breading harder so it has a chance of staying on. Pizza was a 3.5, But it gets rounded to 4. The sauce was actually tasty! Not real sweet (which i hate) and there was a perfect ratio to dough. The crust! It was light and crispy, very tasty, the bottom stayed nice and crispy. I love when it has the little grate marks from the pan. You can flavor your crust, The Garlic Herb was delicious. Held all the toppings well. Toppings were good. Good amount of them. The bell pepper was finely diced which was nice. Ham was good quality. Only complaint was there could have been more cheese. $30 for our meal. It was a good experience and we'll be back. read more

I debated this review. On one hand I've definitely had better but I also know I've had worse. Our family ordered a feast: Pizza, salad, wings and lasagna. Let's start with the pizza. An abundance of toppings so that's a win. Plus they have crust toppers. We love crust flavors and tried their garlic butter which was incredibly overwhelming and brought the whole pizza experience down. My husband loves wings. We ordered their sweet spicy wings and while the wing itself was tasty, the sauce was a bottle of Thai chili sauce we use often in our cooking. We were not impressed. The lasagna on the other hand looked epic. It was piece of mile high cheesy goodness. I dug in and started to relive fond childhood memories of our lunch lady lasagna. After the 10th bite it occurred to me why, "this tastes just like my lunch lady lasagna from second grade!" If I was still in second grade I wouldn't complain very much but now, over 30 years later, I know what good lasagna should taste like and this was not it. In the end our clear winner of the evening was an antipasto salad. Great toppings, nice blend of veggies. We all loved it so much my seven year old son fought me for it over his pizza. Nope an inch from the crust no cheese, just slapped together, I've spent so much money, No Consistency at all . The owner does not take pride in his blessing. The pizza is fantastic. You can tell it's freshly made dough - love me a good crust. And the sauce is not sweet (some pizza sauces have a hint of sweetness, and I personally don't enjoy that). Just did door dash i ordered the small tuscan pizza. This pizza came with so much minced garlic on it it was so over powering that I could not eat it. I'm a garlic lover but this is too much garlic! This also is just not great pizza the crust isn't good. I also ordered a 6 inch maybe its 8 club sub not the best but it was better than the pizza. I usually order from Andy's pizza, more than I should but no longer. first I call and the lady answer phone and says you have to hold. ok I get it. then waited for awhile and she gets back on and says, "what do you want" rude but ok, I start my order and in middle of the order she says hold and I'm back on hold and the phone hangs up. then she calls me back and keeps telling me that I hung up on her and I said no once you put me on hold the phone hung up but she kept telling me I hung up. then she said do you want to order or not? It's hit or miss on the menu. When you find what you like, you'll really like it, but everything else is pretty gross. I like the pizza roll, and my family likes their specialty pizzas (taco, bbq chicken, chicken alfredo, etc). Their chicken wings aren't bad either. Not a fan of the hamburgers. One family member always orders their shrimp dinner and she really likes that. The main reason for the crappy review is the absolute C U Next Tuesday that answers their phone like 75% of the times I have called. The young girl who answered eventually found the order, which had never been filled. No I'm sorry, no explanation, just said "it'll be there in a bit", and hung up. Anyone know how long a 'bit' is?? This place used to be our weekly family dinner night out. We haven't ordered from there in months because the last order we got (which was around $30) was absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. The chicken breast was the size of a wing, the pizza roll was burnt and my son who adores chicken tenders was so disappointed he wouldn't even eat his. We've given Andy's plenty of opportunity prior to this last experience to show us that every restaurant has it's bad night but this was ridiculous! My family and I have been ordering from here for over 30 yrs, and the food has always been good w/o issue, which is great. Until this most recent time I ordered that is. After a very, long busy day, I just wanted to grab a nice salad on my way home, and was looking forward to eating it. Andy's always load their salads, expect this time there was NO cheese, which is my favorite part. When I called and spoke to the manager, she was very short and rude, said there was really nothing she could do about it. Then proceeded to let me know, I could either go back and pick up a cup of cheese, or get a .30 cents credit on my next order! Really?? I was dumbfounded. Ok for starters I get that the day before a holiday its busy and it may take longer. My problem is when I'm given a time and it's not here even close to that time. Then I call and am told it already left with the driver and should be here any minute, but takes an additional 25mins. Find it odd since it supposedly left before I called, but the drive tells me since i called they sent him out with it. Then I'm told it's my fault since technically I didnt speak to anyone. So the lack of communication even once I called and the rudeness from bother the women who answered the first time and the delivery drive are why it's a 1 star. I have been frequenting Andy's since I was in grade school. I'd say at least 20 years. I have had some pretty bad experiences with them, but I chose to continue spending my money here. Tonight has definitely changed my mind. This has been the absolute worst interaction I have ever had with them. I can deal with them habitually closing early or their slow ordering system. I can even wait for my food when they are busy. What I cannot deal with any longer is their abysmal customer service. I have been spoken to pretty harshly by their employees over the last few years, but tonight takes the cake. I ordered $50 worth of food, they did not put two things in the bag. I called back up there to inform them and right off the bat, the guy starts screaming at me. I was polite, I didn't even ask them to fix it tonight. I knew they were closing. I just wanted to get a refund. Before I know it, I'm getting screamed at and accused of lying. This guy "knows" he put my items in the bag himself and he's absolutely "not turning the equipment back on" to make my missing food. He refused to put the manager on the phone. He then starts trying to guilt trip me by saying he doesn't make much money and he's under a lot of stress. Well guess what, you just cost your company another customer and I'm sure it won't be long before you're making NO money because of your poor attitude and rude mouth. I guess this is what I get for continuing to give them a chance. I'd like to think with the amount of business I've given them, they could at least act like they care. But this guy made it perfectly clear that he doesn't. Management surely heard him yelling and never came to the phone. So I have zero confidence that the owner will do anything. I wouldn't eat anything that guy remade for me anyway because I'm sure he'd mess with it. You know, I'd love to tell you about the salad I love or how great their subs are, but I can't. I've had Andy's many many times. However, this time I was less than impressed. We waited an hour and a half for the delivery of a $35.00 meal, and everything was cold. Reheated cheese sticks...yuck. I understand they have to make multiple deliveries when they go out, however if it can't be done in a timely manner to where what I'm paying for arrives fresh and hot...there's a problem. I think this is one of the best pizza places downriver. So far I have not had a pizza that I didnt like. Everyone that works there has always been nice. I have always thought that there is a fine line between pizza, good pizza and great pizza. Usually a place that qualifies as just "pizza" neglects to use proper or enough seasonings in their sauce or whatever. Sadly, Andy's qualifies as just "pizza". Not bad, but not all that good either. In fact, I got a bizarre taste in one slice that tasted faintly like brocolli, which I hate. I figured that maybe some fell into the sauce and they just fished it out. The staff had a "i dont give a damn" attitude as well. The best thing I can say about Andy's is that it is the only pizza place I know of Downriver open until 1:00am.
