Maybe remove roadside service from your name. You were given a 45 minute to an hour window to jump a battery. A task that takes 5-10 minutes tops. Regardless of scheduling Your complete lack of communication after calling multiple times regarding something as simple as an ETA really shows the quality of your company. Prompt, communicative, and friendly upon arrival - all the things you'd want in a towing experience. I was able to track the estimated time through my insurance website, and he arrived on the early end of the ETA. Although I was towing my car to be sold, I like that they took time to see what the problem was and let me know it could be a relatively easy and inexpensive fix. He had to actually get under the hood and manually adjust my gear shift so we could reverse the car and he could load it on the truck. He also called upon completion of delivery and let me know where he left it (and also answered the phone right away about a half hour later when I forgot what he said even though he had just told me). My insurance company assigned this tow service, so I feel lucky everything worked out as well as it did. Hopefully, there are no more tows in my near future, but I would be happy to be assigned Andy's if need be. read more

I "WOULD NOT, WOULD NOT, ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY WOULD NOT" recommend Andy's Roadside Service to anyone !! He sold me a $300+ battery for which he said had 3-year warranty and if there were any issues with the battery within the 3-year timeframe he would replace it. The battery failed within a few months. I've repeatedly called the number listed for his business to request a replacement battery or a refund and he never responded to any of my repeated calls My experience with this roadside service was one of dishonesty and taking advantage of me as a customer. read more

If you ever need a tow or excellent customer service, this isn't the roadside service you're looking for. Requested a receipt for a cash transaction in regards to a tow, called at 2:49pm this afternoon for this request, and was brusquely told that they were closed. Really amusing to answer a phone during alleged closed hours. Had to escalate this to my car insurance as for some reason they had referred me to them when I needed my car transported to the auto shop. Tow was late by an hour. If you can't complete the request in a timely, efficient manner, don't accept the job. :) read more

My second time being dispatched to Andy's roadside assistance by my insurance for a tow. And once again, I've had to cancel the tow because Andy decides he will run on his time and accepts jobs even when his drivers aren't available. If you ever get dispatched to Andy services for your towing needs, cancel the request and a request somebody else OR ELSE you too will wait over 3 hours for no updates. God forbid someone has to rely on this company for a real emergency. read more

I request roadside assistance through USAA for my dead battery. I was told at 6:40 that the estimated wait time was 30-60 mins. Not bad. At 8:00 still haven't heard from the servicer, tried to call multiple times and the number just does straight to voicemail. I reach out to USAA and they say another hour. Then what was the last 1.5 hours for? I'm still waiting have asked for a call from the provider to confirm they are on the way. No response, number still goes to voicemail. Avoid this service provider at all costs, not professional, not timely, not communicative. Will update if they ever arrive or contact me. UPDATE: they never came or contacted me. read more

Stranded on the side of the road. Was told tow truck would arrive in an hour. 2 hours later no truck and no one answers the phone when I call for an update. Nearly three hours waiting I get a text saying they can't do the job, with no other explanation. This is in a metro area with dozens of tow companies within 10 miles. Inexcusable. I suspect they got a call for a higher paying job and just dropped mine. If you're not going to show up, at least have the decency to call me so I can call another company who will. read more

USAA used this service to get our battery jumped. They told us up to 85 minutes and continued to update until they didn't show up. Calling the phone number 619-900-8095 went straight to vm. This means we had to start ALL OVER with a request with USAA wasting 90 minutes of our time and having to wait again. This is poor service. read more

I have used them twice now. Both times they came on time or earlier than expected. This most recent time I requested a tow but they gave me a quick diagnostic, got me up and running without the tow and saved me a ton of money. 10/10 would recommend using Andy's. read more

This man sold me a bad battery with a 3 year warrantee for $393 which failed within one month and has failed to respond to any of my calls, which have been numerous, over the past 3 weeks. I understand Andy is the sole owner of this business. the number on his business card is not a legitimate number. the only way for me to try to reach him was through my Roadside assistance company. They have been able to reach him but they can't make him respond. Stay away from this guy. read more

He did not follow through on his promises, and that kind of unreliability can be dangerous in certain situations. Terrible experience overall. USAA assigned Andy's to me after my battery died. Waited close to 2 hours with an "estimated wait time" of 30 minutes. We called Andy's once after the hour mark of waiting and they said they'd be there in 30 minutes, afterwards they kept declining our calls. Multiple calls later, and speaking with USAA, the provider cancels their request after leaving us hanging for 2 hours and declining all of our calls! They've told both me and my insurance FOUR times that the car was being towed back from the shop by end of day. This was over a week ago. It was a different person this time - turned out to be the owner. Andy was great. He was communicative, polite & swift with the service he provided once he arrived. He arrived within a reasonable ETA. He informed me that he I did a lot of firing and is hiring but he only has 1 other person working right now so if the ETA is long you'll have to be patient until they are back fully staffed.
