Love me a good A+ finding. While navigating the streets of HB, I found this gem with the sign of tacos for $1.50 in the front! This was enough to reel me in. Since this was the middle of the week during traffic hour, the place itself was slow, so I ordered my 8 tacos (carne asada and chicken), and I thought there was a catch, as most places usually only let you order pastor or lengua with this deal, but here all tacos were $1.50. I was in awe and proceeded to grab my food and green salsa and went on my way. I never enjoyed cheap tacos like I did with these. They were so good, and the green salsa was the icing on the cake; it complemented the tacos so well, plus they give you some limes, jalapenos, and goodies on the side! 100% recommend! Been wanting to come here for a bit. There was another place called Andy's tacos and my gps took me there. The service was great! The two people working were super nice. It was a Tuesday and I kept seeing posts about $1 tacos so I was like "Can't beat that!" I ordered 10 tacos and it was $20. I thought to myself "Maybe they don't do 'taco Tuesday' anymore. Maybe they had to start charging more." Shrugged it off. I don't mind paying more. The tacos come nicely wrapped but only 4 lemon wedges and 2 VERY tiny cups of salsa for 10 tacos. I had to stop by the store on the way home to buy limes, and I'm glad I had salsa verde at home. Unfortunately for as much as I was looking forward to visiting this place there wasn't anything that jumped out as great. I'll say that this place is much better than the other place I visited, but still can't see myself coming back. Not the best, not the worst. read more

I happened upon this taco truck not knowing it has happy hour, where they sell tacos at $1 a taco! The tacos are certainly smaller than your standard street taco, but I would argue that the value is still greater. Juicy meat and a spicy sauce make up the primary flavors of the tacos you eat here. Each bite was saucy, flavorful, and absolutely worth more than the $1 they charge. They take cash, card, and venmo. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered a birria burrito and it was enjoyable. I've been to a couple Mexican restaurants in OC that have made a disgrace to the cultures food (i.e greasy and frozen ingredients.) As someone who used to live in San Pedro, I never had a problem finding good Mexican food there. Since I moved to OC, I haven't had a good experience with the food here. This truck replaced a truck that I'd find from for years. I hadn't come to this truck in a long time and didn't know it had been replaced. Decided to try it and was not impressed. Initially I noticed that the truck was cluttered and unkept. I didn't want to be snooty because the girl/waitress was nice. Long story short the Birria taco was too salty, I could not take more than the initial bite. The carne azada in the other tacos left a cheap meat after taste in our mouth. My teen who always eats at least 4 tacos, forced the 2nd one just because he was so hungry but we tossed the last 2. I think they have potential and hope this review lights a fire in them to step it up. read more

I had a party to host and decided to do a taco truck. I called and spoke to Michelle. She was so nice and accommodating. Her prices are very reasonable too. Her food was amazing! She serves authentic Mexican food! We had tacos, burritos and quesadillas for the party. Everyone loved the food. And the service was fast and the orders were custom. We had vegetarians & vegans and she did grilled veggie burritos and quesadillas and bean and cheese burritos too. She also has 9 types of meat!
