Yikes... I used door dash for a burrito order. I've ordered from here a few times. Let's just say I will never be ordering from here again. I called and asked for sour cream added. Since the option wasn't available on door dash. And they said no since they need to charge me, for a squirt of sour cream. That's wild customer service, even the manager said no. Best place to go for taco Tuesday! They have amazing fried crispy tacos! Salsa is decent. Fish tacos are good too, needs some seasoning in my opinion. The chicken tortilla soup is Off The Hook..Really good. The broth is strong and flavorful and the tortillas strips are freshly made and really delicious in the soup. Love a good Taco Tuesday, but have you heard of Taco FRIDAY? that's right, El Torazo does a special on Tuesdays and Fridays. $1.99 select tacos! This deal is a steal! What initially caught my eye was the crispy tacos, I love a good (non fast food chain) crispy taco and sometimes they're not easy to find. I decided to grab a few for the family and myself and the verdict is, we are all BIG fans. We really like the crispy chicken/shredded beef/ potato tacos. We have tried their Mexican (soft, street style) asada/carnitas/barbacoa tacos, still good, but here, the credit definitely belongs to the crispy. It's a simple taco, but they do it so well, perfect ratios. Their red sauce is delicious but their green sauce absolutely SLAPS. I could drink it. Staff is nice and service is usually really quick, but I will say I think because of both social media, and word of mouth, they have newfound fame and fans. Wait times are getting a bit longer, but you can tell they try their best to be efficient. Also, I recently learned that they just launched a new app, so you can place online orders which may help with wait times. There's a good amount of seating, although I usually do take out. Again, you cannot go wrong with a meat filled, veggie and cheese stuffed crispy taco, and for $1.99 on Taco Tuesdays AND Fridays?! UNBEATABLE. Catch ya there for sure! read more

Well, I am back here again! I have to say the food, while unexceptional, is completely satisfying. The Wednesday lunch special was "2 enchiladas, with rice and beans for $11.50". Such a deal, I added chips and salsa and a couple of cokes. We lunched for $31.00 and I left a generous tip for the counter service. The hot sauce both green and red is top notch, I loved them both. We had the chicken enchiladas but other fillings are available. There is a lunch special every day. I will try the tamales next time. The ambiance is standard, the parking is easy, the service was really good and friendly. The chef in the kitchen looked like an old "pro" to us. We ended up lunching here because the Beachwood Pizza place across the parking lot was not open for lunch on Wednesdays. We went next door after lunch and grabbed a hot fudge Sunday at the DQ! Every time we come there are multiple people in the restaurant and there is a reason why this place is awesome! The food is delicious! The customer service is outstanding! They're reasonably priced and consistent. They make you feel like family. You want to just keep coming back! All of their homemade drinks are delicious and not too sweet. I just started eating at El Torazo recently, and it's becoming one of my favorite Mexican food places in HB. The tacos and taquitos are super good, fresh, and full of toppings. I also love the rice and beans. I can tell that everything is cooked fresh and not just sitting around all day. They have a Wednesday enchiladas special which I got with shredded chicken, the chicken is a little dry so I had to drench it with salsa each bite but over all it's a good deal and solid meal. Been to the El Torazco in Bellflower! Love it there! Excited to find one in HB locally!!! Food is delish and service was fine. Disappointed I got charged when I asked for extra onion and cilantro! Especially when the other location has a salsa bar with cilantro and onions available. It's so annoying and petty to charge for something as minimal as extra onions and cilantro...I'd rather go to my bellflower on my way home from work! We came on a Monday and they even had the football game on! It was super dead with one other person at the bar area. We are regulars that usually come on Tuesdays and Fridays for their taco deals (usually lines to the door). Today was our second time coming to their regular happy hour and we had quite a nice experience. No crazy long lines and the food came out good, hot and fresh. We got the sample platter with 2 beers all for $19.93 during their happy hour! Definitely worth a try! The sample platter came with nachos with fixings, carne asada fries, cheese quesadilla, 3 chicken nuggets, and 2 flautas cut in half.
