By far this place was one of the highlights of our vaca in OC. Our server was so nice and helpful when choosing what we wanted to drink and eat. The food is absolutely amazing here and well priced imo. If ever in HB again we will repeat here again. Don't miss out on this amazing restaurant. Enjoy!

Foods alright. But in what world is this ok to pay for a combo. Felt like a waste of money to add rice and beans. Sad

One fantastic, shredded chicken taco what's not to love? Don't forget the Corona and you can order and pay at the table.

You can sit inside outside, covered patio or outside open air very nice Probably the most diverse taco selection I think I've ever seen (and I'm Mexican! ) Alberto was a fantastic server. A nice casual experience and a great plus for the Albertsons' Center. ¡Gracias!

I just discovered this restaurant with my family, and it's a real gem! The food is so authentic Mexican. I've been to tons of fancy restaurants and local Mexican spots, but this one is definitely my favorite. I was so impressed with this little place and found out they have other locations nearby. The food was amazing--from the salsa sauces to the tortilla chips, tacos, and desserts. The margarita was delicious and tasty. Everyone was so nice and friendly especially Jessica. They have great happy hour but the bar is small, only about 7 chairs. Good outdoor and good view of the shopping center. Definitely my spot for authentic Mexican.

Great food! The quality is very good. Dine in if you can, much better to eat this food right out of the kitchen. There are many items in the menu we like but lately we've been getting the fajitas and sharing. It's enough for two people. Great place for a quality quick lunch with a margarita. The people are always nice and ours a comfortable setting. It's a regular stop for us.

Delicious tacos! We enjoyed the dog friendly outdoor patio. Also loved that we could order from a QR code right at our table. The tacos were all delicious! Particularly loved the fish taco, shrimp taco, and birria tacos. The rice and beans were tasty too!

Great way to sit back and enjoy a weekend brunch. Finally went to Que vida to check out the brunch. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly and I told him I couldn't decide between trying the Huevos Rancheros or the breakfast tacos. He suggested the breakfast tacos as they can do two types of meat not just bacon. I opted for the breakfast tacos and ordered one bacon and one chorizo as recommended. Both were amazing had great flavor. Enjoying them as they came no sauce was necessary unless you like heat. The salsa on the side is a little hot so be warned to those who are sensitive. The chorizo was so delicious and love that they make it there in house so it is not a greasy mess as you would expect from standard chorizo. These breakfast tacos are anything but standard. Loved both of them. The breakfast potatoes served on the side were absolutely delicious. Reminded me of fajitas the way they are served with pico de gallo and small slices of bell peppers. Yum. Next time maybe I'll try the huevos or chilaquiles? I believe the chilaquiles are made with the same choose either green or red, enchilada sauce that is to die for.

Bright, fresh, and welcoming--first thing you see is the big ¡BIENVENIDOS! counter with aguas frescas in giant glass jars and staff who greet you like family. The salsa bar is --green salsa (my fave), pickled onions, radish, cucumber, cilantro--plus warm salted chips and handmade tortillas. I had the Que Vida Burrito with chicken (tender grilled white breast, big juicy cubes) and customized it--no cheese, added cabbage + guacamole. So filling, fresh, and flavorful. My girlfriend's chicken + steak tacos were just as good, especially loaded up with salsa bar toppings. Dog-friendly patio, great service, and authentic vibes. Oh--and they serve fresh churros. I didn't cave this time (trying to be good), but when I saw someone order them, they looked dangerously delicious. Next time for sure.

3.5 stars Honestly, I chose this place purely based on vibes - I wanted to eat tacos on a patio because the weather was weathering. We started off with the chips and salsa flight ($5.50), but then got upsold to adding guacamole and chips ($8.50) with our order. The chips & salsa is plenty if you're looking for a nice way to appease your hunger while you wait for your food. One order comes with handmade corn tortillas and 3 different types of salsa: salsa norteña, chile de arbol + salsa verde. The guacamole was fine, but you definitely don't need it if you're not feeling both. I shared a few tacos - my favorite being the La Norteña - taco de asada ($5.75). This comes topped with USDA prime skirt steak, Oaxaca cheese, avocado spread, onion & cilantro and chile de arbol salsa. The asada was delicious. It was tender and flavorful. It looked and acted like glow-up of your favorite asada street taco. The other tacos we shared - La Capital ($5.50 - al pastor) and Coahuila ($5.50 - chicken) - were fine fancy tacos. Actually the pollo was not for me. It came topped with wood fire chicken, Oaxaca cheese, roasted corn esquites + radish. I love roasted corn esquites, but I don't love roasted corn esquites in my taco. It makes the taco a little mushy and a little too corny. I can get on board with some of the flavor combinations here, but there are others that I'm meh about. Big take away? Que Vida Tacos offers generously portioned Americanized-ish tacos at very reasonable prices.

Have lived in a HB for about 8 years and finally got the chance to try this place out and they are amazing! Stopped by to eat some fish & shrimp tacos, they were AMAZING! Manager along with staff are all great, they were always checking in to see if we needed anything which made us feel very welcomed. Definitely will be coming back.

    Wet BREAKFAST BURRITO
    Megan O.

My family and I came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. I ordered a wet breakfast burrito, my husband ordered the breakfast burrito, mom ordered tacos, and dad ordered a burrito. The included chips and salsa were great. The tortilla chips were thick, salty, and crispy. My wet breakfast burrito was very tasty. The sauce on top was a light red sauce, which was tasty. I personally prefer a darker red sauce, but I still loved the burrito and would absolutely order it again! My mom loved her tacos, dad and husband loved their burritos. Honestly, I would go back everyday if I could. The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and inside was beautiful and clean. I am already craving another burrito!

This speakeasy is known for taking your cell phone and having a no photo policy. So when they didnt take our phones, we thought we were being sneaky with taking photos. Turns out on Sundays, it is their relaxed day where you are allowed to keep your phone, and they have the side door out onto PCH open. I loved this, but also hated it if I am being honest. PCH is so loud with motorcycles non stop, and it made the room very light. It didnt really feel like a speakeasy as you could enter right off the street. We entered through the hostess stand at HQ Gastropub. I had asked one of the hostesses what we needed to do and she stated she just arrived for work and I would have to ask another hostess when they came up to the stand. Bit weird, not the friendliest welcome, but the staff inside Graceland made up for that. The hostess lets them know we are there and someone comes out to take us back to the red door in the middle of the restaurant down a hall of colored barrels. Typically that is the only place you are allowed to take a photo before you hand over your phone. Back to the service. The bartender was AMAZING. She was so friendly and just amazing. Our waitress was great too, they were both helping us out. I wish I got the bartenders name, she was such a ray of sunshine and sparkle. Literally, she had a sequin top on and the sun hitting it put sparkle across the entire room. I had two glasses of chardonnay that were delicious. I also had a sip of my friends drinks and they were DELICIOUS! We did order food, and I ordered the spicy garlic edamame but never received it. I also was not charged for it, so it is what it is. The sushi nachos were good, as well as the beignets. I am not going to share the photos I took here, because I feel they want to keep it a surprise and I honor that. I would like to come back another time when the door is not open, it is darker and more private for the full speakeasy experience.

It's perfect for an intimate date or fun night out. I would describe it has a vinyl bar with great cocktails and a unique menu featuring Asian fusion tapas/sharable bites. Fun fact: Sonder is owned by siblings Diane and Lamson and is located right next to Lamson's first restaurant , Kaizen Shabu! This place sometimes gets booked for private events so I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation as to not wait and guarantee it isn't closed the day you want to come. There is also usually events or a live DJ later in the evenings so check their instagram to be up at date @sonderdtsa. The food here is absolutely delicious and flavorful. It tastes both familiar but also new by putting a unique twist on dishes and flavors you already know. Some standout dishes are the little gem salad, dill milk bread, and charred beets. My only complaint is that the Sichuan fries were not as crispy and I would have liked. They are also quite greasy and heavy. But I understand why it is soggy due to being tossed in the Sichuan oil after frying to achieve the numbing flavor. We also tried the black sesame walnut for dessert and it was to die for; such a toasty flavor that paired perfectly with the creamy ice cream. While there are a few staple menu items, the kitchen seems to often be coming out with different dishes so you're sure to not be tired coming here time and time again.

It's served with mashed chick peas, garlic aioli, Romanesco, pickled peppers, and crispy sesame rice chips. Lemon taglierni ($24) - The pasta is made in house and was so fresh and had such a fragrant and strong lemon flavor. Filetto ($78) - I was looking forward to trying this dish as it consisted of 6 oz of prime filet with cacio e pepe raviolo on top all served on top of some sautéed Spinach and wild mushrooms. The beef was so tender, juicy, and flavorful and was prepared medium rare. Such a beautiful dish and the pasta was outstanding as well. Lasagna ossobuco ($48) - This lasagna was made with braised veal shank, saffron bechamel, salmoriglio sauce and bone marrow. Like all the dishes that I tried here, it was visually stunning and great melt in your mouth meaty flavoring. Birthday canolis - complimentary canolis were served for my birthday and the shell was crispy with a wonderful ricotta cream filling. Pavlova ($16) - From the dessert menu my group shared this which is also offered with berries instead of passion fruit. It consists of meringue on the bottom layer, with a vanilla mascarpone on top, followed by a passion fruit compote. It had a wonderful balance of sweetness and tanginess. Complimentary lemon cookies are provided to diners at the end of the meal and they were nice and light. Overall I was so impressed with all the dishes here. The pea risotto and the rockfish with the asparagus was also really good! The rockfish was covered with fingerling potatoes and the potatoes were super crispy and went well with the moist fish! The next dish was the duck. I am not a huge duck person, it was a little tough but the flavor was really good. However the duck confit wrapped in cabbage was super good! The lamb was pretty tender! I really enjoyed the mushroom and artichoke that came with it! I loved the deconstructed lemon cheesecake! Just get it! There was also a filler dessert that was a chocolate truffle, cream puff, and a blackberry tart. This was all underwhelming. I did took off a star (I would give this place 4.5 stars!) because the food kind of took a while to come out and it the whole dinner took about 2 hours. I really appreciated the complimentary glass of wine for the wait! We also sat at the bar and it was a little unorganized with a bunch of stuff at the end of the bar, not a big deal but an eyesore for a really nice restaurant.
