I had some facial treatments recently and have seen immediate results. My skin is naturally quite oily and tends to have breakouts on a regular basis. Microdermabrasion treatments work well for my skin and they have helped me to maintain a more healthy facial regimen. The place asks for certain medical information that you would normally provide to a hospital or urgent care facility, even if you only want a small service such as a facial. I am not too thrilled about this because I do not intend to have Botox or another major therapy done to my body, so I do not see a need for that type of information to be given to Anew You. Also, one my facial treatments was a little much to handle for comfort (although the results look good). My skin is HIGHLY sensitive so I'll probably look for another facility that is much more gentle on the face. read more

The first couple times I came in for laser hair removal on my under Arms it was quick! I was in and out in less than ten minutes. Since then I've waited for 1-2 hours for appts. This place is nice but it's really frustrating having to wait over an hour for a 5 minutes appt. I've seen people walk out and I have also. I have a very busy schedule and this is very inconvenient and unprofessional. Each time they say a different excuse like understaffed or an employee didn't show up. I definitely won't come back after my 6 treatments are done. They canceled my appt last week because the equipment broke and rescheduled me for today. I waited an hour today for my appt and walked out because again they were understaffed. I watched two other people come in 20-30 after me and get seen before me. I prepaid for my services and at this point my just ask for my money back. Horrible customer service. read more

I had PDO threads done in April, it was extremely painful, Dr Sherry kept coming in and out of the exam room, my procedure took over 5 hrs just because she kept jumping between rooms, they had to numb me twice due to the long wait, but I could still feel a lot of pain. After a week my left eyelid swole overnight and I developed a strange rash on my forehead. I was diagnosed with Shingles, this is a very contagious desease and the symptoms appear in about a week after exposure. I would not recommend anyone to use the services of this business read more

Terrible service. Bought a laser hair removal Groupon. Had my first session. Bought my daughter same Groupon. She made her appt, checked in, and then there was the problem . They told her she could not use her Groupon on the bikini area (mind you.. this is the same Groupon I purchased for myself and used on my bikini area). After redeeming her Groupon, she was there for an hour.. never would let her get the service. I had to call speak with the manager (don't know if this is the doctor's husband or boyfriend) but wow was he rude and did not know anything about how to deal with clients... very poor customer service!! He just had to do the right thing..I had given my daughter the Groupon for Christmas, and she had driven in from San Marcos where she is a student. Then to make it worse , I told him I had my second appt scheduled for the next day and he said he would not honor it for what I had purchased it for.. after I had already had one session already!... I had 5 more left! My time is valuable to me, I scheduled the appt a month in advance, made arrangements with my schedule to fit that in.. This place will not last long.. too many other places that offer the same things AND great customer service and quality care. read more

First off, go to ANA GONZALEZ!! She was knowledgeable, informative, relatable. I would have gave a FIVE STAR rating just for her! After all this nonsense, I finally was rescheduled with her as my new aesthetician and was so grateful. I had came in for a chemical peel on my face and hands. The price was reasonable, and they gave me a $40 discount because I got both of them ($200 after). Over the next week my hands didn't peel and my face only peeled less than an inch around my mouth. I called my original aesthetician back and she couldn't give me a clear answer on the percentage grade of the chemical peel or if I would be getting a refund. She tried to convince me to come for another appointment to look at my hands without directly telling me it would cost money just to come in. I was upset that with a 10 minute conversation of going back and forth without any reassurance over the situation and any direct answers, that I had wasted my time with speaking for so long and not getting a straight answer. FINALLY after being put on a hold, which accidentally hung up on me, I talked to a woman manager who assured me I could come in for a second try on both my hand and face for free. I was scheduled with another aesthetician (my previous one was the receptionist I had to check in with) and I got a stronger grade chemical peel! All in all I'm happy, but it was such a hassle in the beginning. read more

I give this business no stars. This is not a reputable business. They are dishonest, unprofessional, unethical & unscrupulous. I attended a luncheon($50.00)where they were promoting a product called Sculptra. The presentation was great, I was sold. The product/procedure was very expensive but they had several package. Of course the more you spent, the better the deal. So I signed up, over 4K. So they sign you up on a small iPad and quickly go to the signing areas, about 6 or 7 of them. I was excited. After a couple of days I start reading the pamphlet they give you about the product and it says that they will be injecting you with SYNTHETIC POLYMERS! Never once during the presentation did they mention that. If they would have mentioned that during the presentation I never would have been interested in the procedure and it would have been just a nice luncheon. So I call the person that signed me up but goes to voicemail. I leave her a message telling her that I am not interested after all & why, to please call me back. Never get a call back. So I call Dr. Sherry, tell her my concerns & says she doesn't see that they had charged anything yet but that she's in a hurry & will talk to me later. So I call the cc company and they charged the card the day of. So I tell the cc company what happened so now the charge is in dispute. I later hear from Dr Sherry demanding that I drop the dispute because I can't just change my mind. I told her that they lied by omission at the presentation about not mentioning the SYNTHETIC POLYMERS. She then says that she'll give me half of my money back if I drop the dispute because she's going to win anyway because I signed on the dotted line. Well the cc company sided with her. I have excellent credit so Im paying the 4K off. I realize it's my fault for not reading the pamphlet sooner but still they never disclosed the SYNTHETIC POLYMERS at the presentation. So of course I am not having the procedure done and stuck paying over 4350.00 for NOTHING & Dr Sherry pretty pleased with her DISHONORABLE, UNPRINCIPLED, DECEITFUL self. If this is the type of people you want to do business with go for it, they will be ecstatic to take your money. read more

I had the pleasure of having my first facial done at A New You and I must say I'm hooked! The staff was so friendly, the facility was immaculate and my face felt amazing after! I made a decision to sign up for the fitness camp/ gym as well and it was the best decision. The trainers are so motivating, the equipment is in great shape and always very clean. Absolutely loved my experience here! Sylvia did a fantastic job on my microdermabrasion session. It was my 1st time getting one done and she walked me through every step and explained to me the benefits and they def have shown. How did I spend almost 2 hours at the clinic for a 30 minute teeth whitening session and still not get the full treatment!? I have had Botox with Dr. Sherry and was thrilled, so when I saw a Groupon for teeth whitening I figured I'd try it out. After waiting an hour to be sat for my treatment, I was finally called to sit in one of the treatment chairs. The technician, without explaining anything that would be happening, begins manipulating the DiVinci arm and repeatedly turns the light on and off directly in my eyes. After the third time she hands me a pair of sunglasses and the flashes the light in my face another two times. I had to manipulate my position to get the light close to my teeth. She then placed the trays and began the treatment which again was supposed to be 30 minutes. After 12 minutes the light shut off and I was left sitting there unattended. The tech eventually came back with another employee and was discussing the equipment not functioning properly. She then again began handling the equipment with me waiting with drool down my face. They eventually started the light again for another 12 minutes and I noticed the second tech bringing the light very close to my teeth vs the light hitting my entire face. AGAIN the tech starts playing with the remote control and turned the light on and off multiple times bc the control wouldn't work consistently. Afterward I asked the tech about the time and she replied "yes it 30 minutes". I then informed her I had not received the full time and she insisted "yeah it went for 12 and then another 12 minutes bc you saw we had trouble with the equipment". I explained that that was 24 minutes and was not the full treatment and also asked about the light being so far away during the first 12 minutes. Her awesome response was "I guess we can add on the six minutes later." If I hadn't already paid for the sessions I would not go back. read more

They offer great pricing and most of their staff is rather pleasant except for one lady! I thought that I was the only one who felt put off by her, but I soon learned through different circles that I was not the only person who felt uncomfortable around her. From mother's groups, gym groups, various personal trainers, and country club women's groups...all have consistently mentioned her accepting and responding to personal text messages during appointments. Delaying injection appointments by 20+ minutes to eat her lunch and eating last bits of it while meeting with patients. Failure to smile and provide eye contact and even looking genuinely UNHAPPY when encountering clients outside of the spa (which ignites the immediate negative talk about Anew U). Her spirit is consistently empty and several of us has left with remnants of her energy. She never upsells additional services and acts as if she wants us to leave. Each visit is silent and quick. Everyone else is pleasant and engaging and warm hearted. It almost seems as if this one employee is battling a depression and the owners are not helping her address it. The community sees it as such and this spa has so much potential of thriving! Great location, professional yet comfy decor, and friendly staff (minus one). read more

At the first time, it was very good. I went to the spa for Groupon, the technician did very careful, she took off all my blackheads acne. That was Hispanic old lady, about 50 years ago. I really like her. So I came back for second time, I spent 85$ for nothing. the technician didn't do any thing on my acne, she just massaged my face; hence the blackheads was still on my nose. I only come to this spa to take off blackheads. However it was a disappointment :(( read more

I have never felt compelled to write a review but that has changed after visiting this place. My appointment was for 11:30 today. I showed up at 11:15, checked in and filled out the paperwork. At 12:08, almost an hour later, I was still sitting in the waiting area. During this hour, there was one other customer in the waiting area and I noticed three different techs and one receptionist walking around. Because I had to leave at 12:40 to pick up my son from preschool, I went to the front desk and explained to the receptionist I had been there almost an hour and only had about 30 minutes left until I needed to leave. She then silently got up and walked to the back. I stood there another 6 minutes waiting for her to come back and say something, growing more upset by the minute. There was another tech standing there the entire time I waited. The receptionist came back and motioned to this tech to take me to a room. We go back and I ask what the hold up was. The tech didn't know. She then asked me what I was here for. I looked at her and said "...you don't know?" She said "today is only my second day!" I wanted to say "you are holding the paperwork I filled out." Because of the long wait, how 'put out' the receptionist was by my inquiry, and the general cluelessness of everyone I encountered, I told the girl I wasn't comfortable having any procedures done here. She asked if I wanted her to tell the girl 'up there'. I said I would tell her on my way out. I walked up to the front desk and told the receptionist I would no longer be using the services. She then dropped a pen and file on the desk, which implied I annoyed her. There are too many places that offer the same services, if you are wanting to spend a couple grand on yourself like I am, I'm going to expect at the very least - decent, professional staff. read more

Can I give zero stars? Came in for my very first appointment and the parking lot was filled with police cars. Decided to go in anyway. There was a ridiculous scene going on inside. Some issue with the owners or management. Other customers were there witnessing it. Seems like the owner left in handcuffs. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! It has become a financial nightmare for me. On 8/24/18, I signed up to have a procedure done on the 9/4/18 so as yet, I have not even received any services. But, believing this to be a reputable company, I paid for the services when I signed up. Well, due to a malfunction with their credit card reader, I have been charged twice for the amount I agreed to pay. I agreed to pay $2,700 but now my credit card activity says that I owe them $5,400. I do understand that mistakes happen but in the past 4 days, since I discovered the mistake, I have called them by phone, texted and emailed them and no one will help me. I have had to file a dispute of the charges with my bank which can take up to 60 days to complete. I will still make my upcoming appointment since they make you sign threatening paperwork regarding refunds and fees if you don't make it to the appointment but while I was excited when I signed up, I now expect to be totally disappointed by the treatment I will now be forced to get. If I could turn back time, I wish that I had never heard of Anew You. This place is HORRIBLE. I have been coming to Anew for a few months now, not because they're great, because they aren't, but because I signed an agreement for services that requires that they debit my card every month, and although I'm paying, I haven't even returned for my last batch of services. I just can't stand to do business with them anymore. Bear in mind, I'm not one to complain and this is actually the first review I have ever written, but I've had enough. My first visit lasted three hours, 1.5 was spent waiting. And although I was annoyed, I didn't complain, I decided to keep the faith. During one of my visits they drew blood, which is part of the process, however, they lost the first batch of blood, and so they had to draw once more. I have had to update my credit card information at least three times in the past few months, not because I've made any changes to my banking info. but because they are so unorganized. I once had to call and ask why they hadn't debited my card and they said they didn't have my CC info. on file. I told the rep. on the phone that I had already provided the info. twice before, but she said she needed it again. I asked that she put my Capital One card on file (which was the same card that I put on file before) and she said it had to be a debit card and that my payment would now be drafted on a different date. I just looked at my Capital One statement and they charged $50, which wasn't on the new payment date. During one of my weekly visits (which lasts about an hour) a woman came in and asked to speak with the manager, she explained that she has been waiting months to hear back from someone so that she can pick up her medical records, and stated that she hasn't only called but that wasn't her first time showing up in person either. The manager kept telling her that the doctor would be the one to release the med. records but that the doctor hasn't been available and they they'd call her back. When she left the manager proceeded to make rude comments about her, not only to the receptionist but to me too. I just nodded my head. I was scheduled to meet with the doctor once but I was told that my appt. with her would have to be re-scheduled, but that I could still be seen with the nurse for my weekly visit, while I was there the doctor was there re-stocking the shelves. I haven't complained to the doctor, so she's not aware of my incidents, but it appears to me that she's aware that this kind of stuff happens all too often, judging for the other reviews I've read. I figure that going to her would just be a waste of time, more so because she still hadn't gotten back to the other customer that was waiting on her medical records. I have been shopping around and have found another practice to do business with, which that practice says they too have heard bad things about this place. Point of the story, don't come here. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, YOUR TIME OR YOUR HEALTH. I can't even bring myself to give them a 1 star. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. If they are a little late one time, I'll usually give them a second chance. At this place, I should have trusted my gut and left when something didn't feel right, but I didn't. They have a sign at the front stating if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, they will charge you for the missed appointment and reschedule you. I understand that happens. But I wish there was a way we could charge them for being late for our appointment. For example, I scheduled an appointment to have a hormone pellet implanted. While I was being prepped, which took less than 10 minutes, Dr. Sherry decided to go to the Dollar Tree store and left me waiting for 45 minutes while she "ran an errand." This was the first time meeting Dr. Sherry so it was not a good first impression. The MA told me the cost before I had it done. She said I would need progesterone supplements as well - however - they did not include that cost in the quote. So the day I got my pellet insertion, I paid $200 more because of the progesterone supplements, which are ordered through a specific local pharmacy that they work with directly. They have the office manager, who does not have a medical license, administering testing. They rescheduled the appointment to try again. When I got to my second appointment, they informed me the machine wasn't back yet so they would need to cancel my appointment - AFTER I WAS ALREADY THERE. Again - should have trusted my gut and stopped. At my first appointment I asked what lab they used as my insurance was pretty strict and I didn't want to get a bill. I was told that Dr. Sherry doesn't believe patients should pay for co-pays for lab work so she would take care of the bill if I got one. I had multiple blood draws to check my hormone levels and such. Every single time I received a bill because my insurance didn't cover a portion of it. The first few they covered. Each time I dropped a bill off they said "we'll take care of it..." They didn't. I took one bill to them 3 times, each one with a late notice and finally it was sent to collections. Each time, "we'll take care of it." I ended paying it. SERIOUSLY?! They could have picked up the phone and called me to tell me they were not going to pay for it. I had no choice but to pay for it or have it mess up my credit. Their communication with their patients is unprofessional and non-existent. So, needless to say, I gave them a lot of chances but I should have trusted my gut and stopped while I was ahead after the first pellet incident. Don't waste your money, your time or your health. I should have known better than to trust a pathologist and a car salesman running a "medical" (and I use that term lightly) office claiming to help people lose weight and manage their hormones. read more

I really liked this place! I came here after I found this place on groupon. I called them with the questions I had before purchasing the groupon. They were actually able to get me in for an appointment same day. The receptionist whose name is Angela is very friendly. She was dry informative and walked me through the whole process up until she handed me over to the technician I worked with. I actually ended up purchasing an acne facial after my blackheads started becoming ingrown pimples and just got absolutely annoyed since nothing I did seemed to help or prevent this from happening. Before my facial that actually did a skin test which tells them everything they need to know about the treatment you need. They basically put your face inside a machine that takes a picture using a huge flash. That says how old your skin is. I am only 25 and my skin age was 31. I was extremely surprised but the lady said it was not that bad. She recommended I use sunscreen because it told her i use absolutely none. Which is true. The actual facial helped clear my skin. It was about 30-45 minutes but it was very relaxing. I will definitely be back. read more

I trusted her as soon as I met her and felt comforted through my whole procedure. Matt and Natalie were in the room with me and are great! The girls in the front are answering the phones, scheduling, and trying their best to make everyone feel welcomed. When you are in a professional office, you want the Doctor to give you the care that you expect, so if she runs a little late because she is caring for the patient before you, so what! That just tells you that she CARES about all her patients and some may need that extra care. Be patient and look forward to the results you will receive with any procedure that Dr. Sherry performs. Ive gone to Dr Sherry since they were at the previous location. I absolutely loved Dr.sherry and the staff. The previous girls were so welcoming and motivating. The staff now seems very quiet and stuck up. I've purchased several products since 2016 and have always been happy with the products and customer service until 2018. The staff was totally new I only recognized Dr. sherry and she was as friendly as always. I went for a final treatment which was paid in full in 2017,at the end of my visit I was charged , money was taken out of my account. Mind you , since it had been a year that I was last seen I had to fill out paperwork and did not list a credit card on file. They used my old card on file and charged over $100. I called and kept getting the run around about me needing to speak to a specific person. I called a week straight until I finally took time out of my work day to get this situated . I waited only to be told this was an old balance that I had from a year ago. I knew this was absolutely false because I paid everything I full . I asked the young woman why it wasn't taken out sooner if they had my information . If it was a year later why now?? She couldn't answer me and gave me a card with the managers name. I called him 3 times and left a voicemail no answer . I finally received a call back stating it was a mistake and my money was being refunded . It was a frustrating and stressful situation that money was to be used for other medical appointments that had to be postponed because of this issue. I absolutely adore Dr. Sherry and her work and products but the staff is not the way it used to be . I had a treatment for European facial at Anew and I did really liked the treatment. The facilities they host is very clean and welcoming. It has all amenities and also a next door juice and healthy snacks bar in case if anyone like to have some of that after rejuvenating feeling from facial treatment. I had purchased a Groupon for my first session treatment. The reception and service was also great and the staff were very professional and gracious.
