Sally was extremely accommodating, professional and friendly. When I hadn't showed up 5 minutes into our appointment, she reached out with a very personalized text message to make sure I was not lost. Their studio had moved about two blocks down the street, but I still had the wrong address (completely on me). She made sure I knew how to get to the new location and even which side of the building to park on. Even though we started late, she was still able to perform my full one hour massage. I was extremely relaxed the entire time. The music was gorgeous and had me picturing beautiful nature scenes. I had to fight the urge to fall asleep a few times. I left feeling calm and serene. I felt more limber. The back and hip pain I had before going was gone. I would absolutely go back. If you are looking for a less commercial spa feel and more of a crystals, chakra, warm vibe, this is a great place for you. The parking is ample as well, but is metro accessible too.

Once you're in the door, they still follow strict hygienic guidelines in order to prevent the spread of illnesses, but with enough positive energy to get you into a relaxed mood. Sarah was amazing and really helped make my first time here an awesome one. They made it a safe space for me to feel comfortable enough to ask any questions and concerns. Throughout the massage, Sarah would check in with me to ensure that everything was to my liking. To summarize, this place "Shined" despite the rainy weather... Sorry, I kind of had to do the pun.

Now The Spa at the Hotel has come to conquer the Luxury Spa experience in College Park. Vibe: I LOVE IT! Upscale, Intimate, and the amenities are perfect! Quality: Luxury hidden in College Park! I booked a Swedish Massage to start my bday week. They gave me a discount and a little gift, that was super sweet! So unexpected. Tyesha was fantastic. The hot stones put an extra touch on my visit. I definitely give this place 5 stars! Will be coming back more often. Parking is free up to 12 hours, you can use the amenities of the Hotel; pool, gym, and you can use the relaxation area in the Spa. You could totally be here for 8 hours. My suggestion to get the most out of this experience is book early! They also have a salon! Loved to see stylist of all races! Love it! Since this is just up Rhode Island, it's quick in and out the city! Thank YOU to the girls for being amazing! Xoxo

I came at…read morelike 9:57 am for my 10am appointment (I don't love to wait in the relaxation rooms--I prefer to get taken straight back to my service). They show me around, very sweet front desk woman---and I get changed. I go to the relaxation room to get picked up for my service and I am just waiting. 10:10 am rolls around, 10:15. Eventually the woman comes back and she says "I'm sorry but the masseuse is not coming in today and there is only one person scheduled per day because summer is slow" ?????? I was just sitting there kind of dumbfounded because we didn't know she wasn't showing up before 15 minutes into my service? Mind you, I took off work to come to this so I'm not getting paid and know it's getting cancelled. So she's looking to reschedule me, and I'm like "ok well can I talk to a manager about a discount because this is kind of crazy" and she's like "yea idk maybe they can call you tomorrow". Eventually she comes back and she's like "oh one of the other ladies will come in but not till 11" so I'm like ok...and I asked for snack (bc I was planning on eating after but now it's pushed back an hour). She brings a bar and champagne which was nice, and I sit for 45 minutes waiting for the next lady. I get called back and she's asking how much pressure, I say light pressure and she's like "ok bc deep pressure we will charge you extra!" After I waited 45 minutes for an inconvenience...ok! So, I get on the table, the room is FREEZING like had to ask her to turn it up, she does --it's manageable now but still cold and she gets to work but her hands are absolute ice which took away from the service. Then, she absolutely digs into each and every muscle after i said light pressure--so I ask to lighten it up nicely and she's very nice and tries but it didn't go well. I, then, get into the shower to rinse off and I put the water all the way to hot bc I'm cold from the room---it's all the way on hot and the water is cool at best. I'm in there like shivering. I don't know what's going on today but I would implore people to find somewhere else. The employees are very sweet and kind but everything else just made it a subpar experience and for $250+ a service, things like this just should not occur in my opinion.

I made my appointment several weeks before spa week since I am an avid spaweeker. I had a vacation to Vegas planned and I determined I would not have spa services during my vacation because by the time I returned home from vacation it would be spaweek. I returned from Vegas on a Saturday and was looking forward to my Monday appointment at Pebbles Wellness Spa before returning to work on Tuesday. To my disappointment I arrived early for my 12:30pm appointment and no one was there. I waited around until about 12:50pm and someone finally showed up. Smiling and laughing as if she wasn't late. I went inside and said that I was there for a scheduled massage. Again the disappointment heightened. I was no where in the book for an appointment. The owner said that she could get me in within the next 30 minutes but I was totally out of the mood for a massage at this point. I reluctantly made another appointment since she said that spa week was extended. April 18 I returned to my scheduled aromatherapy massage. I was greeted promptly and filled out a pre screening health form. From the reception area I was taken to the massage room and I informed the masseuse about my previous misscheduled appointment. She asked that I not let that affect me coming to Pebbles Wellness in the future. I thought to myself we will see. At that point I began to experience the worst massage of my days on this earth. The lady masseuse used gloves throughout the massage and preceded to pour cold aromatherapy oil on me and rub it in.... Yes rub it in not massage it on me. Why in the world are you in this profession if you are not willing to touch a client with your bare hands? I will never return to this spa again nor will I refer anyone EVER!!!! Pebbles Wellness should be called Pebbles WORST!!!

We booked the appointment weeks in advance. 1 hour before the appointment (after we already left the house) they called the house to cancel. Of course we never got the message and showed up at our appointment time. 2. they decided to take us anyway, and said it would be a half hour wait. 3. an HOUR after our appointment time, they took my sister (when I booked the appointments they said they could take us both at the same time so we wouldn't have to wait 4. another HOUR after that, they took me. So I sat in a cramped waiting room with 3 seats, no magazines or reading materials, and no receptionist. 5. dirty floors, dirty walls, and even more grotie--- DIRTY SHEETS- they did not change sheets between clients!!! 6. The products they used for the facials were greasy, smelled bad, and did nothing to the skin. 7. No towels in the bathrooms. just 1 cheap dinner table napkin to dry your hands. 8. I waited --- all totaled-- three hours past my appointment time for a facial, then, had to wait another hour for my massage before I got sick of waiting and left without the massage. 9 On a busy highway- you hear the sounds of POLICE SIRENS and HONKING HORNS the whole time 10 They piped the SAME FOUR SONGS over the speakers the WHOLE TIME we were there. 11 False Advertising. I copied the Spa Week Ad so you could see, that the special was for a facial AND a massage for $50. But it turned out they charged $50 for MY half hour facial, $50 for my sister's facial and another $50 for my sister's HALF HOUR massage- ... which was the worst massage my sister ever had. The therapist did not listen to my sister at all. So we paid $150 when it should have been $100.
