Unfortunately, this is still the most disappointing $150 I've ever spent on a haircut. Almost a year later, no one from the salon reached out to apologize or offer to make things right. I don't know the stylist's name, but she had light-colored curly hair and wore glasses. The photos speak for themselves. I know the salon has many positive reviews, so I hope my experience was an exception, but I wanted to share it honestly so others can make an informed decision before booking.

I've referred friends, brought my husband, and even my toddler is known here. Most of the staff do great work, and I've always enjoyed my visits despite the occasional scheduling delays. That changed this week. On Monday, I went in for a mani/pedi to get ready for the new school semester. I decided to remove my acrylics and let my nails breathe with a gel manicure. One of the gentlemen suggested I try an overlay, which I agreed to, but the tech must not have understood and only did a regular gel manicure instead. The pedicure, as always, was great, and the nails looked good at first -- but within 24 hours, three nails had chipped. By day two, five nails had chipped and one had a broken corner. I'm a full-time student, currently on summer break, so I hadn't done anything that should have caused this. I called Wednesday morning to let them know, and they told me to come in so they could fix it. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it that day due to caring for my sick husband and toddler, but I went in Thursday. By then, I had two broken nails along with the chips. I explained that I wanted them fixed and also wanted the overlay I was originally offered, knowing it would cost extra. The tech reassured me they'd "take care of it" -- but at checkout, I was charged $45 (with a $5 discount for the mishap) on top of the $85 I had just spent Monday, plus the $10 tip I'd left then. That means over $80 in one week just for my hands. For someone who comes in every two weeks and brings in consistent referrals, I was shocked by how this was handled. It's disappointing, because I truly liked this salon and most of the staff are very skilled. But good business is about more than just good work -- it's also about how you treat your loyal customers when something goes wrong. Sadly, they've now lost not only me, but at least five other clients I've brought in. The owner takes most of it so they will ask you for a big tip and that does sit right with me. Also, they only take cash (no card) and they require you to pay 1st. The massage itself is not good. Lots of fast squeezing all over the place and I got no relief from it whatsoever. It was 50 dollars for 30 minutes which is not worth it at all and there are other places that will do a better job at half that price. Also, my massage therapist straddled me.... You heard that right. I was face down and she immediately straddled me and I was so shocked as no massage place has ever done that to me ever. I felt very uncomfortable and I wanted to leave. I can go into more detail but this was very unprofessional and it makes me wonder if any of the therapists have a license or professional training at all. I mean, she straddled me like a horse! Seriously. In conclusion, they get 2 stars for the cleanliness of the room and that's really it... the massage wasn't good, the price is too high, they only accept cash, and they ask for a big tip. I always wanted to try this place and if you did too don't go here, you'll be disappointed.
