I think it is important to leave an honest review regardless of experience. The establishment is very nice, well lit and clean. Hailey did my gel manicure and Henry did my pedicure. I paid $130 for both services and I believe the work is mediocre at best. Hailey unfortunately was very rough, I did ask her to please be more gentle but there wasn't any change in pressure with the file. I feel like my manicure was very rushed because she mentioned she needed to go to Costco before they closed. My appointment was at 5pm, Costco closes at 8pm. After she was finished she did not ask me if I liked my nails or else I would have pointed out the imperfections. Henry did my pedicure. The pedicure overall was very nice and I believe he did a good job. My only problem with the pedicure is I selected the $60 pedicure because I wanted a 15 mins massage as they advertise. I was the only customer is the salon yet Henry got up twice to grab products I assume he forgot to grab. In total I got an 11 mins massage. Maybe I am being nit picky but the $50 pedicure comes with a 10 mins massage. Maybe I should have just opted for that instead and saved some money... Now at the end of the service Nicole asked me if I was satisfied. I was honest with her and showed her how messy my nails were. She tried her best to fix them but as you can see from the photos they are still very fuzzy and not clean. Nicole asked me why I didn't mention this to Hailey and I told her the truth...she didn't ask. For $130 I expected to get at least what I paid for. I did not receive any kind of discount and unfortunately left unsatisfied. Gorgeous and very well staged. Clean, aesthetically pleasing, meditative/relaxing. Offers medical services as well. This place is a vibe. It's not your average salon/spa. It's much more intimate and aligned with Laguna Beach than the other places I looked into. Before and after pics. Miss Tiffany saved me. I moved to Laguna Beach and had no idea everything closes at 7...so at 6:40pm I'm calling all the places to see if they're open late. This darling woman insisted on coming back after going home - at night! It had obviously been a month since I'd had any chance to get them fixed and find a new spa, etc... anyway I am so grateful to her. The pictures say more than I could. She also has medical staff! I have been coming to Haley since I was probably 16, I'm 20 now ! That alone just shows how amazing of a job she always does for me. My nails are always exactly how I like them, super well polished and she does very precise work which I appreciate so much. I usually get acrylics, gel or dip, it changes from time to time but I've like Haley's work so much I had her start doing my pedicures as well! When I first started going to Haley she worked at another salon but I could not lose her so I came with her to Angel Beauty Haus and that was a great decision for me. I had been frequenting another nail salon for a while, but recently, they've been getting more & more popular and thus, more busy. I had been getting veryyyy lackluster service, so when I saw this place off of PCH on my way home, I knew I wanted to give it a chance. I booked my mani/pedi with ease, and everyone was super nice. They have a little light to really get a good look at your nails, and the lady that was doing mine did a fantastic job. She looked at all my nails from all angles, to make sure nothing was missed, and took great care of my cuticles. I'm really specific about my nails, so this meant a lot. The massage & scrub included for the pedicure felt like it lasted forever in the best way. They were not stingy whatsoever. They took their time, which was refreshing after being rushed through at my old spot. I can't wait to try some other of their services & to continue to review them. Okay I don't usually take the time to do this, but I felt it necessary since they're a newly opened business here in my home town... I decided to try them out as I saw they had a 20% new client discount. I've been searching for not just an "okay", but a GREAT nail salon basically all my life it seems. I'm extremely loyal, and always try to support any and all small businesses as much as possible, ESPECIALLY in my hometown. If I feel that I got my moneys worth, was provided a good service for the price, and the customer service is pleasant - I'll be your loyal client for LIFE basically. I am a creature of habit! So I called this new spot like a block from my house, saw their website, social media and Yelp reviews, and they had an appt for me same day for both a gel fill and pedi. Super easy and quick to book, gave me specific directions on where to park as it can be confusing if not familiar. I arrived, parked no problem, was super impressed with the gorgeous CLEAN and fairly spacious facility, was immediately greeted by 2 employees and Owners (completely family owned and operated business BTW), and was taken to the nail area right away - to the cozy, yet super classy and comfortable, quiet, and very clean space. There were about 5 employees working, all of which are family, which I think is so cool and appreciated! Flat screen TV, relaxing music playing, not too much chatter, and ZERO gossip at all going on among staff in another language in front of customers (I absolutely DESPISE that and think it's SO incredibly tacky and unprofessional). Literally the main reason why I got super turned off my my previous nail salon - tacky and annoying. Long story short - super pleasant experience, very clean and comfortable. Zero awkwardness or stress due to worries that I was gonna be sliced by the inexperienced nail tech multiple times. She was fantastic, clearly a very seasoned experienced nail technician. My nails were done quickly, impeccably, with NO cuts/errors/sloppy rushed mistakes. She also took the time to explain to me GelX and recommended next time I'm due for a new set, to consider trying them as it can be better for my very naturally THIN nails. My upgraded CBD pedicure was done by a man, sorry didn't get his name, was FANTASTIC! He was also extremely experienced, PERFECT strong massage strength, asked me if it was all okay, zero unprofessional gossiping or chatter going on at all whatsoever - Just an all around GREAT, enjoyable, professional, high quality, classy, clean, relaxing, even educational and informative experience! The owners and staff are all a local family. They owned another nail salon that did nails only, no added services, in Ladera Ranch for many years. And recently opened this new one in DP, offering lots of other services as well as nails. You can tell that they are highly experience, well-seasoned trained professionals, as well as mainly focused on QUALITY over quality. They don't try to rush you, upsell, bad mouth in their language right in front of everyone, and they take the time to explain things to you that might be a better fit for your specific nails/needs! Moral of story - being a local small business owner and operator myself, as well as being a woman, I truly value and appreciate it when I discover businesses like this one, and I will always recommend anyone and everyone who I believe deserves the shout out! And this place, from my first impression and first experience, deserves it 10000%! Oh and their prices are not outrageous, totally in line w competition, which I will happily pay if I feel I was provided w fantastic service all day any day! I told them I will DEFINITELY be back, they blow my old place out of the water x100, and I can't wait to try their other services! Great nail salon! I booked a last minute group appointment for some friends and the service was above and beyond. My friend's flight was delayed and instead of needing to cancel, the owner allowed us to come as soon as we could. All the staff were very kind and provided great service.
