She was cleaning up the pedicure bowl with one hand while "rubbing" my leg with the other. It was really disappointing. My nails are very bumpy & uneven - I needed them done for an event and ended up wearing closed toed shoes because the paint job was embarrassing. I won't return even if they offer to redo.

I thought I would try this place out based on its Yelp reviews. It's a very small salon, clean but cluttered. They had the front door open and it's on a busy street so you get a lot of noise and the ladies I had were very soft spoken so it was hard to hear them. They offer you water or wine to drink when you sit down. The pedicure was decent, you even get a hot stone massage. However, during mine, she never once touched my heals, no scrub, nothing. The towel my feet were on was never changed or folded over. My nails are not even, one big toe is much longer then my other. She did a good job with the polish. My gel manicure was poorly done. She would man handle my hands and she had a super sharp thumb nail that she would push along my cuticle and sides of my nail as she was polishing them. She put 4 coats of clear on my right hand and 2 on my left??? There was no hand or arm massage, just oil rubbed on my cuticles and fingers. After I left I looked at my nails in the sunlight and there is polish on my skin, smeared on the sides where she would run that sharp nail, they are just sloppy looking. I am so disappointed, after looking at their yelp and pictures I had high hopes. I will not be returning or referring anyone to them. read more

I love loveeee my nails every time I come here. Usually, other nails shop did my nails really thick and it didn't look nature at all. This time I told yen what I want and she did super fantastic job. My nails is long but it feels very comfortable. Yen also does my shoulder massage. Her hand is small but supper strong. Just get out from work and come here, all I can feel is so relaxing. I took my mom go with me, too. Her birthday is tomorrow so she wants her new eyelash extensions. Yen again did a wonderful job. It looks so natural on my mom's eyes. I had the most fun, relaxing time at V Nails salon today! It was my 3rd time there, and each time I just love how friendly everyone is!! I felt so Happy to just sit back and relax in one of Yen's massage chairs as Loan gave me a GREAT pedicure/massage with hot rocks. Beautiful eyelash extensions here!! I recently got a full set of eyelash extensions done by Haylee and they are amazing! The process was completely pain-less. It took about 2 hours start to finish but truthfully didn't feel that long, it was very relaxing. I didn't know what kind of results to expect but I was more than pleased with the results! I've been going here since it opened and it is wonderful. The ladies are all very sweet and do a great job. My gel nails always last for 3 weeks and my pedicures around there or longer. The space is very cute and small which fits with the town. They can usually always take walk ins with minimal to no wait. Their prices are fair and worth the extra few dollars vs. some of the cheap (price and work) other salons in San clemente. read more

Started getting my pedicures over two years ago at V's. Mimi does excellent work. Since I added Manicures and now facials. I brought a visiting friend there recently and he said he felt so pampered. Their gel manicure is very reasonably priced, and they run specials often as well. My gel manicure normally lasts over 2 weeks when I get one here, and all pedicures have a massage. All of the staff is extremely nice, they don't talk over you or pester you with add on services. I've been to every nail place up and down Del Mar and this is definitely the best. read more

With tip included, I spent $100 total and left without nails I can realistically wear to an important work meeting this week. I now have to pay again tonight to have them redone elsewhere.
