I drove down from Long Beach to get my lashes filled. I have even modified my appointments to better help accommodate other clients per Carly's request, since we have known each other for so long. But let me tell you about my horror story with Carly. During my last lash fill I was asked how she could make her dog into a "service" dog so she could bring him to work without "getting sued". As someone with a disability who has an actual service dog, this question was offensive and hurtful, technically asking me how to break/bend the law. I left in tears. Days later I received an email stating that I had been refunded and will not be allowed to return as a client from here on out. I tried to reach out to Carly to clarify, never to get a response. I feel it is important that other current clients and potential new clients know of this hugely inappropriate business interaction. I have been dealt a HUGE injustice only to be cold shouldered. She was in the wrong and instead of doing damage control she dropped a client who has been nothing but faithful because SHE made me cry during a lash appointment. All and all, I was punished for having my feelings hurt by a coward who can't clean up her own mess. Way to lose a client and a friend.

The night before an early morning business trip to Dana Point, one of my nails chipped. With no time to see my regular manicurist at home, I decided I'd look for a nail salon when I arrived in Orange County. I arrived on a Sunday morning, did some research and settled on Dip Nail Bar because my preferred manicure is dip, not gel. I called at around 11 am and asked for a 12:30 pm appointment. The gentleman I spoke with was very accommodating and said he could fit me in at that time. When I arrived, the salon was moderately busy, clean and had a great selection of dip powder colors. Nikki removed my existing nail polish, meticulously shaped my natural nails into a lovely almond shape, and applied a fresh dip manicure with a gel top coat, as I'd requested. The service I received exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back when I visit the area in the future. read more

Got a dip tip gel manicure and a gel pedicure with my friend last week, we both showed them pictures of the nails we wanted and they did an INCREDIBLE job! Super friendly staff, beautiful salon, they were very detailed. My only advice is to make sure to go in with plenty of time to spare, because it did take a considerable amount of time, but worth it! I added a picture or our nails, not the best shot but it was the only one I had of both of them. read more

With tip included, I spent $100 total and left without nails I can realistically wear to an important work meeting this week. I now have to pay again tonight to have them redone elsewhere. I truly don't like leaving negative reviews, especially because the staff has always been pleasant, but for the price paid, I expected a much better final result.
