I was late as usually looking for a dress for my son's destination wedding. I stopped in Angel Bridals after reading some reviews and gave it a shot. I can't say enough about how helpful the owners were. They have been in the business a while so they really are extremely knowledgeable. They knew which dresses I would get on time for wedding. I tried them on and found a beautiful dress. They ordered it and came well within time! Also was able to order in a different color than what I tried on. My cousin went to Angel Bridal for her wedding gown in 2006 and had such a positive experience. When I returned in 2023 for my own wedding, the same ladies were working there and I had the same positive experience. Rosemary, Vicki, and Rosalba were very lovely women, wise and experienced in altering wedding dresses. I brought them a gown I purchased at North Fork Bridal Shoppe in Wading River and they were familiar with the style. I planned to wear flats and because the lace was going to be cut at the bottom, Rosalba the seamstress was able to save the design and reattach it. It was beautiful and I would 100% recommend going to this store. I never felt rushed, and always taken care of in terms of my preferences and felt like I was given great advice from the ladies who have been working in the shop forever! I came here with my mom to look for a mother-of-the-bride gown for my upcoming wedding. It was the fourth shop we visited and she already tried on about a dozen gowns with no luck. We worked with Rosemary and she was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She offered an honest and refreshing opinion and knew what fabric, styles and cuts of gowns would look best based on my mom's figure. Rosemary even knew which designers ran true to size and which designers cut their gowns on the smaller side. She also had various corsets to try on with the dress which was very helpful. When I saw this place from the outside I thought we'd be in there for 10 minutes. When we left 3 hours later we had all the bridesmaid dresses and the dress for mother of the bride (I'm a bridesmaid). I can't begin to express their professionalism, relaxed happy atmosphere and wonderful customer service this place provides. My friend's mom (mother of the bride) ordered a dress and when it came in for the first fitting it didn't look right. - the fit was strange.. After much fussing, tucking etc. not only did they get the dress company to send another dress, but got a backup dress in the same color and different fit just in case. It turned out they were right - the original dress was strangely cut on her, so the backup dress paid off. Last, and best, they charged her for the original price and not the higher cost for the backup. I'm almost sad to say goodbye to these wonderful women, but know you're in good hands if you come here. read more

I had gone to a few local bridal salons and then I even hit up a few of the commercial shops. My mother and I were driving down main street and a particular bridesmaids dress in the front window of Angel Bridals caught our eye. We had time to kill so we stopped in to check it out and that is when we met Rosemary. There are no words to describe the overall positive, calming, loving energy that comes over you when you walk into the store. My first experience with Angel Bridals was back in 2003 when I graduated high school. The tradition of my all girl catholic high school required the purchase of a floor length white dress. I walked into Angel bridal and left with the first (and only) dress I tried on. Last June I returned on a whim and even though I didn't have an appointment (which I strongly recommend to ensure they can give you their full attention) I was assured they would do their best to squeeze me in. I had not tried on a single gown since 2003 for my graduation. I told Rosemary I just wanted to try a few different silhouettes. With only my price range and a few other questions, she walked right over to the rack and pulled out a dress to show me. She barely had the dress zipped up and I was already yelling to my awaiting family member that THIS was the one. I didn't even want to take it off. I tried on 2 more dresses just to prove to myself how much I loved the first one. It has been 8 months and I have not seen a single dress that I think is more "me" than the dress Rosemary pulled for me that day. If you don't believe me, step into their dressing rooms, which are wall-papered with photos and cards full of praise from other happy customers. To be honest I never take the time to write a review. But I was so unsatisfied, unhappy and very very disappointed with Angel Bridal. When you go there they are as nice as can be until you make a purchase. I purchased my wedding gown and my mother purchased her gown. It is so exciting when you finally get the call that your wedding gown has arrived. I went as soon as I could to try it on and they made the experience awful. They were so consumed with another party of women to try to make a sale that my experience was just upsetting. I was not a picky bride in any way but my gown was a big deal to me. Then it came down to alterations for my mothers gown and mine. They were clueless to say the least. Thank goodness my mom went to school for design so she new what to tell them because I had to no clue. But the fact that my mom had to tell the so called professionals what to do is a major red flag. They kept trying to say that it was fine when the fact was it really wasn't! It ended up my mother was extremely unhappy with her dress but at this point did not have enough time to get a new one. She was the mother of the bride and deserved to feel beautiful. As for my dress it turned out it was big and I kept having to pull it up which I clearly stated I didn't want to have to do. Thank goodness I had asked for straps to attach, which I wanted to use later in the night but pretty much had to put on right after the ceremony. It was also to long so I had to hold it up all night which I also made clear that I didn't want to be bothered with! Like I had mentioned I never take the time to write a review but this place aggravated me enough to sit down and warn future brides. Every bride wants there dress to be perfect but this is not to place that will make that happen! read more

I live in the UK and found THE DRESS here in London, but I wanted my mom and MOH to see me in the dress before I ordered it. No one in New York carried the dress, but Rosemary and Vicky practically went to the end of the earth to borrow the dress from Bellissima and had it delivered to their store in time for my/my mom's visit. I spent over two hours at the store trying on the dress and different accessories and they were so helpful and made us all feel right at home. This past weekend, on a very hot, HOT Saturday we decided to go searching for a (MOG) gown...or better known as Mother of the Groom. We walked into Angel's and I swear we were greeted by two of the nicest ladies you would ever want to meet. (We had just come from a Bridal place in Bayshore where the service was ATROCIOUS!) They were very helpful in evaluating what she was looking for and the urgency since she did not have much time. Well we picked out a precious gown (chic and elegant) whereby my friend looks FABULOUS and the price was reasonable and within budget. I have a daughter not quite 20 but I want this place to be around for a long, long time because we would definitely go back there when she decided to marry! These ladies made my first wedding gown expedition 11 years ago the most happy time...being a plus size bride I was told in other stores to just hold the gown in front of me and that would be sufficient..Not Angel Bridals - I was told to pick out my dream gown and they'd get it for me - and they did!! This review is for the alterations of my wedding dress. I bought a dress at the pronovias sample sale and it was about 5 sizes too big. The dress was very intricate and must have been very hard to tailor. Rosalba was the woman at the store who altered my dress and it could not have fit more perfectly. All of the women in the shop were very nice, but Rosalba was the best. I received so many compliments on my dress and I have her to thank. Although I didnt buy my wedding gown here, I had the best experience! The staff was wonderful, warm and welcoming. They felt like my family. This was the only bridal salon I went to that I had a one on one experience. I brought 4 people with me and they were super accomodating and didnt rush me in the least bit. They dont have as many dresses as I would have liked but are able to customize anything to your personal taste. I had a great experience at this shop! They were absolutely wonderful! The dress selection is wonderful. They were extremely helpful and not pushy at all. As stated by another reviewer, it is great that not all of their dresses are in a size 8 or 10. I commented on that and the women said that the average bride is a size 14 so it would be silly to only buy size 8's. Words can't express how happy I am that I found Angel Bridal. I purchased my wedding gown elsewhere, and found Angel when I was searching for bridesmaids dresses. I ended up choosing Angel for bridesmaids dresses, my mom purchased her gown here, and then they saved the day when my alterations at another salon went horribly wrong! I absolutely loved my Sophia Tolli dress and its cathedral length train but problems arose when it was time to figure out the bustle. The shop I purchased the dress recommended either a one point over bustle or 3 point over bustle for my heavy lace train. Not only did it look like a mess & drag on the floor, it would have never held up through the night. After a great experience shopping for bridesmaids & mother of the bride dresses, I knew I wanted to bring my dress to Angel for my (corrective) alterations. They did such an amazing job on my hard to bustle train. I ended up having a whopping 25 or so points (french & over bustle combo). I knew I was in great hands the second they started to dissect, brainstorm and pin my dress. I was beyond impressed and so thrilled with the final look. The bustle stayed up all night and Angel Bridal is to thank! I highly recommend Angel Bridal. My only regret it not finding Angel earlier and purchasing my dress from them!! Absolutely amazing experience at Angel Bridals. I had a very quick (8 weeks!) engagement due to my husband being in the military. I went to several bridal stores who laughed when I said what I wanted and how quickly I needed it. The ladies at Angel Bridals said "No worries, you will have your dream dress"....and they delivered! My dream dress off the rack in top notch condition and fitting and alterations done in 2 weeks! They were also so laid back and lovely. This store is TERRIBLE! They ordered the wrong size for the dress for my brother's wedding. When it was tight, I was told there was "nothing they could do" and I'd have to be "really careful" about what I ate. Well, the lady at the store broke the zipper on the dress because she forced it to close. It was only after I brought the dress to a REAL tailor that he was able to fix the zipper and let the dress out a bit so I could participate in my brother's wedding. This store caused me so much stress and drama simply because they didn't want to be bothered with the needed alterations. Oh, and the length of the dress was STILL too long after I paid 35 bucks to make it shorter. THE PLACE IS THE WORST!!!! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

This is my 3rd time using Angel Bridal but this time for my own wedding. They have been amazing from beginning to end. Vicki knew when I was having trouble deciding on my wedding dress exactly how to help and it was after leaving there I knew what dress is my wedding dress. Even though they did not carry the designer they were able to order the dress for me and at the lowest cost. All of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses their as well and they all had made comments on how great everyone is there. Even when the designer had made a mistake on my matron's dress it was handled very quickly and their was no issues with the dress when it came in.
