It was really nice of Dominique and Amanda to go out of their way and pull various pieces from their back stock for me to try on. Sadly, most of the pieces I really wanted were either much too big or much too small, but thats how vintage goes sometimes. I managed to leave with a 50s cotton dress and a 50s cotton circle skirt, both of which Im very thrilled about. Prices are slightly higher, but overall pretty fair. Theres pieces for every budget in this shop, without a doubt. I'll definitely visit again next time Im in town, and will certainly check out their social media regularly to see if theres anything I might want to have shipped to me. I'm attending a wedding next week with a vintage 1960s sequin dress that I got there over seven years ago. Anytime I need something special that's where I go. I just wanted a simple solution and was willing to pay $ for it. Fedex then refused to deliver to my address because I had forgotten the unit number. After waiting 45 minutes on hold with them, I confirmed my name , contact info and the order number, and called from the phone number on the package, but they refused to deliver. (I gave them the correct unit number, or gave them the option of leaving it inside of a locked gate at that address they had access to, but they refused). I contacted MM Lafleur via email hoping they could make it right, but they basically shrugged their shoulders and said 'we've processed your refund, you should have your money back in 7-10 days.' They claimed that Fedex said I refused the package, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm going to be working all weekend and don't have the time to go on a shopping trip. I would happily go to a Fedex location to pick it up, happily arrange to be outside the front address when it's delivered. Insult to injury, they said -- 'please update your address so this doesn't happen with future orders.' Sometimes people make mistakes with addresses, I've never had a Company refuse to contact the carrier to make an update. Just laziness with a side of "not my problem" attitude. It didn't seem like MM's customer service bothered to read my email and wasn't interested in engaging. (Maybe they're using AI instead of employees, who knows). Maybe their reps are paid based on how quickly they "resolve" cases. I know I shouldn't be shocked by crappy customer service, but I've had better experiences with Spirit Airlines. MM LaFleur -- do better.

They persisted to say that's what we are ordering that's the designers measurements, we were nervous it would be to small but we also dont buy wedding dresses regularly and maybe that's just how the sizing works for wedding dresses. As we were checking out they forgot to put the deposit towards the dress (since they have you put down a deposit to try on dresses, if you buy a dress with them that deposit goes towards your total) No big deal that they forgot, since we were planning on getting the veil with them anyway...they said they would put the deposit towards the veil when we go in for the veil trial (which is a separate day, so they needed another deposit for that too) Day comes, we pick out the veil, and we mention at the front what happened with the deposits... she had a crazy attitude confused/flustered was mad to give us our deposit and said she'd look into it... she put the dress deposit towards the total (as promised) and then when we mentioned we had also put down a deposit for the veil trial she responds "I've given you enough discounts" discounts meaning the money we put down to walk into your store? I then said confused do the deposits not go towards the total? It's just for us to come in? And she said no I'm not putting ur deposit you gave to us for the veil trial towards the veil you bought with us. We left it alone wanting to try to keep the experience positive for my sister. Now the dress fitting comes, she goes to put on her dress and it doesn't even zip half way up her back, the older woman asks if my sister has gained weight, which she hadn't, and then asks "are you expecting?" This is the same older woman that was giving us an issue with the deposits. No self awareness, Her attitude and energy is disgusting. Now the seamstress comes over and says to my sister I'm not sure if we even have enough material since your dress has to be let out so much... that's how small it was on her. Prior to coming, they said alterations would be $700-$900 Cash only. We go to check out, the say alterations will be $1200. They said it's more money since they have to let out the dress. (We said from the beginning this is not her size and they reassured us over and over again it was) Then my sister said since you mentioned it wouldn't be more than $900 I only brought $900 cash with me I don't have $1200 cash the older woman responded "I'm not worried I have your dress" They absolutely scammed my sister. Got her a dress smaller knowing it will up the alterations price. Insulted her in the process asking if she's pregnant (by the way they "mistaken" her for double zero) and then made a comment saying I'm not worried I have your dress... I work in the service industry myself and I couldn't even believe what I was hearing. Thank god I wasn't there for those appointments. Bridal salon of Huntington you treated my sister horribly, good thing she has a lot of self confidence and knows her rib cage didn't expand a foot wide within the months she ordered her dress. Shopping in general is already hard for some people, and you guys had the bright idea to ask her if "shes expecting" and ask her if she gained weight while she's standing on a pedestal in the most important dress of her life. how you guys are in business is beyond me. We unfortunately had no choice but to keep that dress since buying/altering a whole other wedding dress wasn't an option for us.
