It's been pretty much everything promised. Full immersion Spanish. An involved staff with varied backgrounds and countries of origin provide a legitimate experience. Our son already knows Spanish, and I think that's so awesome - such a gift. Especially in Texas. He's also well on his way to being able to write his letters, which is pretty impressive for a 3-year old. They practice writing all the time - I love it. He knows how to write his name. Maybe that's unimpressive to some, but I'm impressed. And pleased. The staff is caring and present. It's like a family. Any concerns we've had were addressed immediately and professionally. Excellent customer service. Jenny, the principal, is really great. She has this place running like a well-oiled machine. Our son loves it there. He's always excited to go to school. The other kids seem excited to see him. The teachers seem to genuinely like him. And we LOVE the diversity in the classroom. Kids of various Latin backgrounds, white kids, black kids, Asian kids... wonderful mix of races. We loved his first "preschool" (pre-preschool), but it was pretty much White-Bread-McWhiteyson. Trying to think of any potential complaints... hmmm... well, the parking lot is super small and sucks, so be prepared to park on the street and walk a little (not far at all). That's normal there. Not a big deal. They use glitter in some art projects, and we all know glitter is the herpes of the art world. No need to spread that stuff around... Ah! The one thing I really dislike: uniforms. Our son has all these cool shirts that people give him, that he loves, and he only gets to wear them on weekends. Why do the kids need to wear a Spanish Schoolhouse shirt everyday? Seriously? What does it accomplish? That's the one thing that drives me crazy. But since it doesn't truly affect his education or overall experience, I'm leaving this at 5 stars. But I really do hate that he has to wear a uniform and I think there's ZERO reason for it at their young age. Call it 4.5 stars because I hate the uniforms rule. Seriously, I highly, highly recommend the Coppell SSH. They've got their game together. We toured the Castle Hills SSH too, and this was notably more impressive. We heard the same from other folks about the comparison - Coppell is where it's at! This place has it going ON! (The Castle Hills one seemed... less so.) Enjoy, amigos!

They have hands down the best facility in the area, with a clean beautiful interior and amazing caring teachers. My kids have learned so much through the years, from abcs and numbers to potty training and table manners. There have been some wonderful teachers over the years that have moved onto other careers, but the director Ms. Allyson does a remarkable job finding other awesome teachers and keeping up the excellent quality of this school. She knows every kid's name, and is very passionate about education and well-being of all the kids. I have friends with kids at other Creme locations, and I haven't heard of any other directors who are as dedicated as Ms. Allyson. My kids are excited to go to school every morning, and we would recommend this facility to anyone looking to start their kids in daycare.

Currently I have a nanny at home with my child and I'm all for not choosing cost over care, if you're lucky enough to even do this given how insanely priced good care is, but parents are too busy to find time to swing by or wait on hold just to get the prices. I can assure these facilities this is the wrong approach. Whether a parent sees your pricing prior to a visit or after won't change the decision. In fact I'd argue that by withholding the pricing it could be worse since the sheer shock of the cost might steer them away whereas being able to compare costs from multiple providers along with the educators of each school, services provided and facilities would allow them to see the value for the cost. In any event I did a tour at Crème and I did find the inside impressive. I felt the under two area a little lacking on activities but it was a brief tour and maybe they bring in more things during class. The teacher I met was nice, but a little over the top in my opinion. I'm all for making someone new feel welcome, but it has to also feel genuine. I could see how if all you looked at was the facility you would be immediately sold, but I wasn't. I also didn't like that they had all this fancy tech, but didn't have live stream video? Why bother if everything is so delayed? When you walk in you see a whole wall of screens showing live feed video so it's obviously setup for that. In Mexico its standard to have live stream now so I know it must be fear of legal action that keeps these schools from implementing it. I know there's some crazy parents out there so I understand, but again that's not enough of a reason not to implement what parents want. Most of us just want to be able to check in and see our sweetie when we get a moment. The woman who gave me the tour was also nice and followed up with a text and email. If I were to give advice to someone looking for a child under 2 to get a nanny instead as they are about $1,500 month full time and will make your life a lot easier. If you're looking for your child 2+ then it's a decent option for the area albeit the high cost. I will say their menu for meals and the fact that they provide both diapers and wipes is a huge plus for busy parents! Less things to remember and worry about in the morning. If you can get past the cost and the name (I find it sounds a little pretentious and as a white person would feel uncomfortable saying the name of it in conversation) then check them out. P.S. The curriculum is solid, and it's clear they focus on learning and development. That said, there were a few things that could have been better -- communication wasn't always consistent, and at times it felt like there was a lack of attention to individual needs. It's not a bad place by any means, but with a few improvements in leadership and parent engagement, it could be much better. Overall, it's okay -- right in the middle for me.

There was an issue with a teacher that was reported to state. There was no open communication between the school and parents, everything was kept very hush hush. Parents started to talk and get together and a few of us that were communicating with each other got the notice that they would no longer be providing care for our children. I think the handling of the situation was very poor on the school's end. It felt like the school was more concerned with protecting themselves than the children. There are, however, a couple teachers/directors that are very good and well liked by the children.

The owner kept boasting of the Frog Street curriculum. The owner was condescending in his remarks…read moretowards me, but I am simply underwhelmed by this curriculum and its inability to afford his "team" the material or guidance necessary to adjust to our children's learning and development needs. While my background is admittedly very limited in this subject matter, I would be more inclined towards the Creative Curriculum (like our daughter's previous school) or HighScope. I also provided a critical review on another forum, and I was met with retaliation from the owner, demanding over a phone call to me that the post be removed. I was simply sharing my expectations, and how the academic standards fell far short of how our children were developing. The owner proceeded to publicly divulge private, personal matters in his response, and even sided with and made concerted efforts with the mother in an effort to diminish me, and dismissing my valid concerns. We had an in-person appointment on Friday at the school to discuss further, which I have now cancelled, because of this public demonstration of retribution from the owner himself. Is this the kind of place you want to entrust your child's development? The unprofessional manner in which the owner, the director, and the teachers all combined their efforts in order to denigrate me, especially on a public forum, is very concerning: a company was unable to handle criticism, and in turn, publicly shamed me as a parent.
