We did a video consultation to show her my hair and that it hasn't been dyed or colored, otherwise it's unable to be donated. 1. If you're going to donate, register on wigs for kids website 2. I have fine blonde hair and was worried about whether this treatment would be too intense for me and Melody eased any concern I had. I feel like I've learned a new life hack because my hair now dries without frizz and there is no need for me to even blow dry or apply heat for it to look shiny and styled. Even better is that this treatment seems to have strengthened my hair and I no longer need to wash it daily because it doesn't look greasy like it used to due to how fine it is.

I wanted to try something new for my birthday so I went for the REVERSE HOMBRE. I gathered pictures of other women with golden to brown reverse hombre hairstyles such as Beyonce and Demi Lavato and I thought Mia understood what I was looking for. It turns out she didn't. I ended up with blonde, almost platinum, on top. I had also asked her to give me a trim, but specifically to "NOT TOUCH UP THE LAYERS", as I was trying to grow them out. She did anyway saying it would look better. Let's just say, I DIDN'T leave happy. I went back two days later, as I had a chance to take in all that had been done to my hair so Mia could try to fix it to my satisfaction. She fixed the color by darkening the blonde. My hair didn't look great when I left the salon but after I went home and looked at my hair closely, I felt I really have to standup for myself. The cut itself is super choppy as you can see in the photo, looking like a shelf that's in fact shorter in the back? This is also not what I showed her, for cut or styling. Let's say my instructions were not clear.. this is still not a look you want to leave with when you leave a proffesional. I just feel ugly really.
