I've had my fair share of acrylics and ANC with tips done before that have all come out beautiful! I decided to give Angels a try. I understand they started on me at 7 and they closed at 8 HOWEVER I don't believe that gives them any kind of right to rush and do a shit job because I still paid full price and tipped. The woman who did my nails didn't remove my cuticles, not once did she have me wash my hands, she only shaped one side of my nails and left GIANT CRATERS IN THEM. If I could see the craters while she was buffing my nails and going through the ANC process (without my glasses on) then I'm pretty sure she could too but she didn't care at all! They were so deep that there was a color difference and when the electric file would go over my nail it didn't even touch inside it because they were so deep. Clear as day. I'm usually not one so say anything even if I don't like the job that was done but this time I had to. I left the mall parking lot almost in tears because of how horrid they came out and finally a couple minutes down the road, I realized I had to go back. When I walked back into the spa, the woman who did my nails didn't even look at me or ask why I was back. Finally someone came to help me. He (is my favorite one at this place) only fixed 4 of the shit nails. During the fixing of the craters this man asked me where I usually get my nails done. I don't actually have a certain place I go to every time, I kind of hop around but I mentioned a few places and he DARED to say a negative comment about them. I wanted to tell him that I've NEVER had to go back to any of those places and get nails fixed moments after walking out like I did his spa. I went here today for acrylic nails he was nice and made sure I was happy with the length and shape and it was all good until he stared putting on the nails so he was very ruff and not gentle kinda rude and all around didn't do a good job I had to file my nails to make them flat because he made them round even though I stated multiple times I wanted flat anyways they came out bad I hated them and I would show a picture but I already filed them and we Painted them before I even thought of taking a picture but I absolutely do not recommend read more

I would never recommend this place to anyone. I told my nail technician not to cut my cuticles and just to push them back and she cut them anyway. I am quite concerned that I will now get an infection due to the open wounds. While cutting my hang nails, she also cut me and made me bleed not once but twice. You should NEVER bleed while getting your nails done. I also didn't see her wash her hands or instruments used. And to top it all off, they make you pay BEFORE they finish your nails. She then finished my nails and they look botched for a simple $15 manicure and normal polish. I will never be back here again. Stay far away from these people. I went to the Aviation mall and decided to go to Angel Nail salon. The greeting from the owner was rude and unwelcoming. I should had left after that rude lady spoke to me in that matter, but I stayed. I was hoping that the nail technician would be better than the initial customer service. My nails were poorly done. It took me 2 hours for bad quality. Felt like I just threw away $40 and in top the owner stated we need to charge her more in Chinese. Not realizing that I understood her. I wish there was less than one star. My daughter left there and by the time she got home her nails color was coming off. She was very upset and my wife took her back and they said it was nothing they could do about it. They would not give a refund and they were not redo them. Very rude. Terrible service, terrible finished product. And terrible atmosphere. I highly recommend everybody stay away. read more

if i could give this place zero stars, i would have. absolutely the worst manicure i've ever had in my life (and i've had a lot!). i was seated in one of the manicure chairs immediately upon walking in. my manicurist greeted me, and then told me he'd back in a few minutes. he went outside and smoked a cigarette while i sat there waiting. when he came back in, smelling like a butt, he didn't even wash his hands, just got to work on mine. and this was just the beginning. the man was SO rough when cutting my cuticles, that literally FOUR fingers were bleeding by the time i left. i was absolutely mortified. even worse, none of the tools he was using had been sterilized. i watched him take them all, used, right out of his little basket. due to this horrifying situation, the fact that the polish he used on me wasn't completely contained on my nails, it was also on my fingers around my nail bed, was of little worry. i would NEVER go back again. top five most skeevy experiences of my life, for sure! read more

My experience there was so-so. I'm sorry to hear that your's was so bad. Just as an aside...I am new to the area and when I went for my first pedicure back in August, I was in a hurry and happened upon Nail Club down the mall from Angel. I didn't even know there was another nail place in the mall. Nail Club is very small and kind of outdted, but let me tell you that I got the BEST pedi there I have ever had. I came to this nail salon with my elderly mother and twenty something daughter. We all had a great experience with all of our different nail treatments including pedicures, manicures, and the dipping powder system of nail polish. They were efficient and skilled. I was particularly impressed with how kind they were to my mother, who has mild dementia. I highly recommend this business. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have a gift certificate that is slightly expired - I received it last year over the holidays. They won't honor it. I am pretty sure the state of NY requires businesses to honor gc's up to FIVE years. Questionable ethics. I will be looking into this further but from the sound of the last review, I should stay away from any services at this nail salon. read more
