The staff is very nice and I've been going here for years however the only person who's really good at nails is an older man and the owner Lisa, any time I've had anyone but them do my nails I've left disappointed. Last time It took 3 hours and asked for coffin shape and for my nails to not be thick and at the end they were extremely thick and uneven shapes and not really coffin also the SNS wasn't applied all the way at the base so it looked like my nails had already grown out a ton, once again very nice customer service but in terms of if you're getting what you're paying for I'd suggest only booking Lisa or just going somewhere else read more

Went in for just eyebrows. I said it at least 3 times. I get to the back and the waxer keeps trying to add on services. I declined another 3 times. Before I know it wax is being smeared on my face. I again, said," no thank you." Annoyed, she uses oil to get the wax off and says,"well why not? You need." I kept saying," no, thank you." She wipes my eyebrows off and says," you're done." I get up and exam my eyebrows. She rushes me out of the room and we get to paying. I hand her cash and she's says," great thanks." Doesn't offer my change doesn't look up or anything. I cannot believe how bad this manicure is! I came here today because it is close to my apartment. My nails actually looked pretty good going in, and now they look like crap! My manicure was completely rushed, and the cuticle work was a series of pulls on my skin. The male technician seemed very distracted and didn't clean up any of the nail polish. He kept looking up as he was painting my nails and it shows. I have never gotten a worse manicure in this city....ever. I get my nails done every 2 weeks, and this is by far, the worst manicure I have ever gotten in my life. Do not go to this salon. Not worth the money. I want to start this review by saying, DO NOT GO HERE!!! The service was poor, and that is, to say the least! Total waste of money and I now have small bumps on the top of my right foot, which happened right after my "spa" no so spa-like pedicure. My friend and I went to get our nails done on 8/29 and the next day 8/30, they looked as if they were done a week ago. While we were getting our pedicures, they had to try and find a nail polish that was not old or dried out...should have been the 1st red flag. Then the male tech was not painting my friend's toenails all the way to the edges, there were spaces and when she acknowledged it, he became visibly irritated and let someone else take over the job but not before throwing the cotton ball down in a child-like manner. We were both upset and tried to correct their actions while it was happening but they seemed to not care. Today, I called and spoke with John and tried to explain the situation to him and how poor the quality to was and he said if I couldn't come in today, there was nothing that could be done! I am going out of town today, hence the reason I wanted to get my nails done. I told him I had pictures and he said that wouldn't show the quality...LIES...YOU CAN SEE HOW TERRIBLE A JOB IT WAS!! So, instead of him fixing the problem like a professional business owner, I know how to join the other past clients who have equally poor experiences. Also, will be writing a review on the Better Business Bureau website. I suggest that if you've had a bad experience you do the same. I got shellac on my toes and fingers. They were so kind and so friendly! I didn't have to wait at all! They gave the best arm and leg massages. My nails have never looked better. It was clean, quiet, and close! I'm a nurse so I am picky about being clean! I kid you not, this was the cheapest I have ever gotten out of a nail salon and I didn't skimp. It breaks my heart to have to write this. I had really wanted to like this place but just had a very unpleasant experience. My sister and I have been salon hopping looking for a good place to do shellac. I was adamant we come here because of my wonderful pedi experience and the price ($25). So We come in about 40 minutes till closing on a friday and everyone is busy which is totally understandable. we waited picking colors for about 5 minutes (which is hardly a wait considering how busy they were) and were seated. this was about to get very unpleasant. The shellac my sister and I had gotten hadnt chipped or crack, it was very thick, and the technicians couldnt take it off so they rubbed really hard on our nails to scrape it away with the metal tool. I could literally see pieces of my nail bed coming off WITHOUT shellac so i asked her to stop and let it soak because it was very very unpleasant. My sister was on the other end of the salon and didnt think to ask her technician the same so he chiseled away at her nails leaving them paper thin and very damaged. this aside, because i can attest to the fact that that shellac DID NOT want to come off, the mani's we both received were very rushed and are very poor in quality. As soon as we walked out my sisters nails got air bubbles and her tech. didnt apply it evenly (its lumpy) and actually left spots of her nails naked. my job is much better than hers, but the shellac is streaky and has some lumps and pieces where the clear coat/brush scratched the polish ... its hard to describe but it doesnt look like a solid, even layer of shellac. I wanted to treat myself because it was my birthday and this salon is so close to my house. I don't get my nails done often, maybe once a year so I usually pay a little extra and get shellac. I asked for that and showed her the colors/design I wanted. I belive her name was Lisa. And then she said something about a no chemical organic nail color for $10 more. So I said ok. I'm sure I should have asked more questions but I didn't. But shame on them for touting solar nails as all natural and anything but acrylic! Again, I should have asked more questions. The purple I chose is beautiful but up close the leopard print is poorly done. Several of my nails are not smooth but I'm most upset that I had to get out nail clippers in my car to fix the shape of 3 nails. Was super excited to come here because of the good reviews. To my disappointment it was nothing like I expected. Maybe it was who did my nails but I am not impressed. Asked for almond for some oval some half almond. Asked her to cut them a tad shorter she is Oates they would not be long because she has to file them. Flooded cuticles so bad that the acrylic was literally overflowing onto my skin. Asked for thin nails and got an array of different thicknesses. Showed a picture at the beginning and asked if they were able to do the design said yes and when the time came she did not deliver. Looked so far from the picture I had her wipe it off because I was not about to pay for something that wasn't what I had asked for. When it was time to file my nails she answered a phone call and proceeded to file into my skin on multiple nails only to seem to give up. Nail polish is smudged and doesn't cover the acrylic completely. Mind this took 2 hours for her to do a below sub par job. She also used the electric file on the underside to try and clean up the overflow only to again file into my skin, it felt like she was mining for my soul. Must have found it because as you can see from my review I seem to not have one anymore. Wish I could go back in time and go somewhere else. UPDATE: lowered to a 1 star because day two and my nails are already lifting and polish is coming off.... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! WHAT IN THE FUCK????? This place is absolutely horrendous. Just left ... I recently took my nails off to let them breathe for a bit & found Angel's by accident today. I had a very recent pic of my nails to show the tech EXACTLY what I wanted, as well as fully explained how I prefer my nails. From beginning to end I had to correct her & re-explain what I wanted, then ended up spending 10 plus minutes of my own time filing & trying to fix crooked, uneven nails. They're not fixable. I will have to remove these & start all over. She handed me off to a male tech who painted these ugly ass things she calls nails & the polish is also terrible; bumps, bubbles, spots missing polish.
