Clean with excellent service and good pricing. I went here because I had seen an excellent review on Yelp and because I couldn't see the sense of paying twice as much at our resort. The staff was great and I received a wonderful pedicure and great foot massage. I also got an excellent shellac manicure. Something I've never seen before: they keep little custom drawers for their regular customers with their own nail tools in each one. I not only recommend them I do plan to return next time I'm visiting Pawley's Island/Litchfield. read more

Walked right in and was treated to a wonderful pedicure (GREAT leg massage) by Jett. He also did my manicure with gel polish. Very much paid attention to detail. I never once felt like he was rushing as I have experienced in other salons. today I was so looking forward to a nice mani / pedi.i go here all the time and always am very happy. today was a horrible experience. very disappointing. it was the. worse manicure I ever had.the pedi took 10 minutes. never cut cuticles or removed calisus from bottom of feet.went home and did mani over myself. owner sat and heard everything never lifted her head or said a word.had she acknowledged the situation I would not be posting this.i just threw $47. out the window. and never received so much as alook. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. I read the reviews here and thought I'd try getting gel tips there. I specifically asked for gel tips and overlays - twice. When Kim used the stuff already sitting out on her table (the liquid with the identifiable odor and the powder), I asked her again if this was gel and she said it was. Well, I've had gel nails before (a while ago) and I do not remember having a powder used. All of my previous gel nails have been much thinner than the ones I have now. I am positive that I have acrylics, not gels. The process was the same until she put a gel coat on top of the acrylic nails that she put on me and put me under the UV light. I am very upset that I was charged for gel nails but this is NOT what I received. Additionally, I have horribly thin nails to begin with so putting acrylics on top of them makes them even weaker - the gels overlays I've had in the past made them stronger. Having to pay someone else to remove these nails and give me what I asked and paid for is frustrating. Beside this, the nails are not even, straight, or painted properly. I didn't notice any of this until after I left because I was so confused about the "gel" they had used. I will not be going back there ever again. read more

I would give them 0 stars if possible. Made an appointment 2 days ago and when I arrived on time I was told there were 2 other people in front of me. They double and triple book all the time. Very upset since I was getting nails done for special occasion which I mentioned when making the appointment. They tried to pass me off to a male nail tech that couldn't quit looking at his phone. I made the appointment with a certain nail tech to avoid him! Last time I got stuck with him ( again an over booking situation) ..it took over 3 hours. He had to redo my nails (feet and hands) 3 times because he kept messing them up. This used to be my favorite nail salon but I will never return. Very disappointed and angry since I had no time to look for another salon before my event. read more

I visited Angel Nails while vacationing and had the best experience! Staff was incredibly friendly and cheerful. I got a mani and pedi. Both included long, thorough massages of the legs and arms and the polish job on both was impeccable. I hate when a manicurist gets polish on my cuticles or has uneven spacing between where the polish ends and my cuticle begins- this manicure job was absolutely perfect. read more

Angel Nails is very hit and miss. One time I go and my gel nails look great, but my pedicure is marginal. Other times I've gone for just a pedicure and it seems like they do the absolutie minimum to get me out of there. The next day I can see patches of dry skin on my heels that other pedicures in the past would remove. Very inconsistent quality at this salon. It is ok in an emergency, but can definitely not be my regular salon. read more

Terrible. The massage is the only reason for 1 star. First I didn't see them use clean instruments and she wiped the clipper on her jeans. Ugh. Then instead of using toe separators they used paper towels between my toes when painting and when they asked me to go over to the lamps I was told to walk barefoot. No flip flops. I just went to Angel Nails to get a simple eye brow wax, I asked her to just clean up the hairs that were growing in around my already shaped eyebrow. Well... The wax was much to hot and burnt my skin, not only do I have blisters from being burnt, I also do not have any eyebrows left. She completely waxed my eyebrows off!!! When I looked in the mirror I looked very surprised, and that was not because I was... Do not go there, they are beyond terrible, they butchered my eyebrows and now I must just wait months to get them back. read more
