I called ahead to book an appointment and spoke with the manager, who gave me the prices over the phone. When I arrived, I showed the technician my inspiration picture and asked if he could do it--he said yes. However, the result looked nothing like the photo, not even close. He also charged me $65 for a fill after I was told it would be $50 for short nails. Throughout the appointment, he had an attitude and seemed like he was rushing my service. When I finally spoke up--after trying to hold back tears--he got defensive, as if I was criticizing his work. It really felt unfair. The prices they quote over the phone aren't the same as what they charge in person, and the quality definitely didn't match what I paid for. My nails even chipped just three days later. My daughter and granddaughter went to this location for a regular acrylic fill with a nail replacement. My daughter needed a regular pedicure and her eyebrows waxed. Prices are listed in the shop as follows: Acrylic fill $20 + $10 to replace nails total $30 Regular pedicure $28 Eyebrow wax $10 Total should have been $68 but she was charged $100 which is $32 over pricing for each item. When we questioned the manager she insisted my granddaughter had a completely new set which is totally untrue as I was sitting right there. I also watched my daughter's pedicure which was basic (sloppy as well). She charged my daughter for a deluxe pedicure and charged my granddaughter for a full set. My daughter and granddaughter are in town due to a death in our family. My nail tech is closed on Sunday and Monday or we would have gone to her. Upon entering this shop we noticed the floors appeared to have not been cleaned in a while. The stations were very dusty as were to bottles of polish. We saw a couple of women walk out after seeing the filth on the floors, shelves and sinks. I will be reporting this shop to the Better Business Bureau as well as the health department and the Zephryhills Chamber of Commerce. This business should not be able to operate as it's clearly defrauding the public with the prices but charge whatever they decide. We did see several spiders as well as dead cockroachs. Unfortunately this was the only nail shop open on Sunday. We will not be going back there ever again! I am one that reads reviews and makes decisions based on reviews and I'm not one that jumps to write a review bc I understand that people are not always right and everyone's experiences are different! However, My husband came here for a simple manicure and pedicure and the nail tech's skills were absolutely horrible! If you are going to work and employ people in this profession at least know FOR SURE THEY KNOW what THEY ARE DOING or TRAIN THEM TO WHERE THEY ARE PROFICIENT!! And then when you try to communicate an issue, the techs act like they don't understand what you are saying or that you are the problem! Went to get a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. After the mani, the guy doing them (super nice) told me to sit for 5 mins to let dry. Not even 30 seconds later, someone else took me to wax my eyebrows. It was the quickest anyone has ever done them, didn't even pluck any strays, etc. after that, I was rushed out and made to pay. I said my nails weren't dry, but he said "no they good" and I left. Went next door to Publix to grab a few things and next thing I know, basically wasted $15 on a manicure that was completely ruined minutes after being done. Unfortunately my opinion of Angel Nails has changed. Technician retention is not good. First person I used for a while and left when COVID hit. That's understandable but she never came back. I started going to a male tech and he was excellent. While I was away on vacation he left. I was told he went back to his country. This is not the first time that an owner has used this excuse. So then I make an appointment with a seasoned tech that I have gone to before. When I arrived she had just started doing a pedicure. I was told that their new employee would take care of me. I was not happy at all. What is the point in making an appointment. The new person did an okay job. Two weeks later I made another appointment with the first girl. Twenty minutes before they called and said she was running late and could I come in, get this, two hours later! That is enough time to put another customer in front of me. Again, what was the point in making an appointment. The experienced techs only want to take care of you if you get both a manicure and pedicure. I decided to try another salon. Their loss as I was loyal for 5 years and considered my self a good tipper at 20%. The new place has over 300 gel nail colors. I've given this place a chance twice. My nails didn't last the first time and they were gel polish. The nail tech which i believe is also an owner was arguing the whole time while doing my nails. It took forever. And then the second time the nail tech was so aggressive! My toe was hurt and she knew but kept pressing on it with no care in the world. She clearly didn't care. Then she proceeded to wipe my legs with the same dirty rag she used to wipe down the foot tub. It doesn't look very sanitary here. I'm not doing this a third time. Being new to the area and very picky about who does my nails, I have salon hopped since being here. I was so happy when I found a girl all the way in South Tampa only for her to leave the salon without notice. Then I found THIS place. Well the first time I had Angel herself. WAS NOT A FAN! But something told me to go back. And give a different person try. THANK GOD I DID! I was then paired up with SheriLee who has been doing my nails feet and brow wax ever since. I am not a fan of a lot of stuff I see that goes on in the salon (not being able to relax and enjoy services because they're all yelling over one another in their language in a way that I've NEVER seen in other salons, BUT my SheriLee is awesome enough for me to keep going back and not have to salon hop anymore. I strategically make my appointments either when it's almost closing time or when they first open to try to avoid some of the fuss that goes on amongst. And another downfall is them not offering water wine SOMETHING like I got in South Tampa! THAT was such a treat and make ya feel a little better spending. I would like to state before anyone disagrees, that I have had many pedicures in my lifetime, and never, ever, have I had a bad day at any nail salon (Paris nails, or elegant nail and spa in Tampa) that was until I came here. I came in with my younger sister on a slow Tuesday afternoon around 4, they weren't busy and were able to see us right away. I had a gentleman named Ung, this is where the experience started to fail. I had on gel, and requested a polish change, instead of having my fingers soak in remover, like every other nail salon I've ever been to has done, he took my fingers one by one, placed a ripped cotton ball filled with remover on the nail, and wrapped each nail in tinfoil. This seemed bizarre to me, but I decided each person has their own methods, hopefully it will get better. I had also recently had a pedicure done, and the polish was intact but I asked to have my calluses removed, for $10. I then took my tinfoil wrapped fingers to the pedicure chair, where I practically fell in after Mr. Ung looked like he was lifting up the arm of the chair for me to get in, only to realize too late that the arm did not lift, and I fell into the water. I was then not met with a razor, or buffer but an actual cheese grater. (I work in the culinary industry, I know what a grater from IKEA looks like, and I have the same one in my kitchen.) He then proceeded to violently buff my feet causing me to have cracks when I got home, and did not even attempt to use lotion. We then went back to the manicure table to remove the tinfoil from my fingers, I was being kind and joking that I had never seen this method before, but he was not amused and seemed to look at me like "I can't wait til this person is gone" look. I said I wanted a french manicure, like the one I had previously. Word for word, what I had originally done but in plain white. I had a purple french gel manicure with a sparkly silver line behind the purple tip, and clear gel for the rest of the nail. I asked before we ever began the manicure if he had a "Sparkly silver, with fine sparkles so that they would show up, versus a larger grain sparkle in clear polish." which he confirmed, twice. Once he removed my gel, he complained that my nails were too tin 14 times, I also asked for "extremely short nails" being that I work in the kitchen, I try to have no nail for food to get under, in the event of contamination. He complained about the shortness 12 times. He then cut my nails uneven, I asked for rounded off nails, he gave me square with the tips from the side cut off, so not rounded. He then "smoothed" out my nail grinding his tools into my cuticles, almost making them bleed. He did not remove any dead skin from the cuticles. Once applying the polish, he missed some spaces, which I had to point out. Finally we get to the silver. He applied a dull gray, with no sparkle at all. After one nail was done, I asked if he had a different "more vibrant" silver, he showed me one with giant chunks of glitter that didn't even complete a line, it was a clear polish with 5 specs of glitter all over my nail and was inconsistent. I asked if he had another, frustrated he snapped at me "No, this is all we have, we do not have another, I show you on my nail, you no like, what do you want?!" I decide that at this point I'm just ready to leave, and begrudgingly go with the first choice. He realizes his tone, and apologizes, but by this point my entire experience is ruined. He attempts to save his tip at the end by applying lotion to my already manicured hand, but it's no use. I forgot to mention earlier that the preliminaries for (i think switzerland vs USA) soccer tournament was on, and during the entire manicure he was constantly watching, which was irritating enough due to the horrendous experience. This was $38, just for the manicure. If you're in Zephyrhills I would suggest Paris Nails, unfortunately their best manicurist Shirley is no longer with them. If you're willing to make a drive go to Elegant Nails and Spa, get Kim for a manicure and Tina for a pedicure. They take time and care into each guest, and never rush, even at the end of the day, on multiple times they have stayed an hour after closing to make sure I get the full experience and relax. All in all, save your money and your time from an awful manicure that you'll end up taking off the next day. read more

I just got my gel nails done x 4 days ago and they are already peeling up....while I was there the manicurist cut my cuticles even though I told her they were just cut. She cut them anyways and made my nail beds bleed. She was advising me not to peel off my gel polish as I had done in the past but proceeded to peel my gel polish off herself because it was taking to long to melt off. I will never go back to this place. I've had sooo much better!!! read more

I'm not sure what happened with the previous review but I've been coming here for 3 years now and won't go anywhere else. Ask for Kim she is seriously the best and very sweet! If she's busy I will wait for her or call ahead if I can. I have not seen any of the nail techs be rude to anyone they are all nice to the customers and they are very reasonable priced.
